Our friends in the FPM have issued a list of remarks on the Paris-3 paper, and to say the least, i was hoping for an economical paper critisizing the reforms proposed in the Paris-3 paper, but instead i found a political paper talking nonsense.

The whole point of this conference is to secure long-term assistance to help Lebanon recover from Israel’s 34-day war with Hizbullah fighters in July and August. This conference was held to support Lebanon’s government after the devastating war that Hezbollah started.

Throughout their remarks, FPM ‘economists’ have one argument in mind, the money will go to the government to close the public debt and not to the people.

I mean what do you think? The world is gonna donate 10 billion dollars to be distributed equally on the Lebanese population ? Where in the world did that ever happen ? By giving the people money you boost and reform your economy ?

By closing the huge expenses of our debt, the government can allocate more money to several sectors, is that so hard to understand ? The money we are getting will cover our debt and help us invest more into productive sectors instead of spending the money to close debt.

As for privatizing the Cellular companies, as long as the government gets a proper share out of this deal, i dont see any problem in doing so.

“1-3 تأمل الحكومة في خطتها الحصول على مساعدات تراوح قيمتها بين ا?4 وا?9 مليارات دولار أميركي. وستستعمل المبالغ المحصّلة بشكل كامل لتغطية فوائد الدين العام بهدف إبطاء نمو حجم هذا الدين وليس لتقليصه على الإطلاق. ”

So what ? how is that bad ?

The report is 33 pages long, yet i hear them resume it in 2 lines :
I am ready to bet that none of them even read it ..

Finally, Fpm economical committe listed few question:
Lol .. conpiracy theory .. join the government you ll know
Of course to the government ..
How did u conclude that ?

“يحتاج لبنان الى حكومة نظيفة قادرة على تحقيق اصلاح حقيقي والتأكد ان المال سيصرف لغاياته وليس لمنافع مافيوية. ”

I wish i knew where Hezbollah gets his money from …. and why didnt he give is to the government ? Isnt that how things go ?

    It’s all bullshit

They are trying to cover up their alliance with HA by firing up on all cylinders!

They’re economic plans sound very communist - Distributing money to the people!!

Hehe - thats more like Mother Teresa tactics

Well…Aoun has always criticized anything that does not come from him…in his eyes, only he can save the situation…
so whatever propositions that come from anyone else are automatically resisted and fought…

The fact that Aoun does not have any alternative solution does not count for him…he shoots first then discusses later (if there is any discussion)…

God have mercy on us…I beleive Lebanon is living its purgatory through people like aoun

the tawtine issue again…geeeeez…I mean those guys really have it in their throats dont they…

well Aoun and his bunch of orange ducks should know very well that as long as there are people like Dr Samir Geagea around, el tawtine is not going to happen.

you see not every one is a sell out like micho…some people do stick to their ethics and to the principles they have fought for years to uphold… stances are not like a jacket thats worn one day because the weather is cold and discarded the next because the weather is hot…this is what aoun will never comprehend…

moreover, aoun should tell us about HIS economic reforms…as far as I know, what they proposed some time back ( in their famous economic congress held in Phoenicia) was at best “rou2oss aklem” i.e. sketches of possible solutions and in no way whatsoever as detailed and as accurate as what was proposed by the govt.

Ah and one more thing, wasnt it aoun that said he agrees with Mustaqbal’s economic reform ideas but disagrees with them on other matters??? what changed???? or the orders were issued from abroad to torpedoe the proposition so he went ahead….

“The Devastating war that Hizballah Started” I love how you say it like Israel just had nothing to do with this, and it was all Hizballa’s fault.

I am in no way for Hizballah, but i in no way hold them solely accountable for the Atrocity Israel commited to YOUR people not just Hizbulla fighters
