44. Reminder | November 3rd, 2009 at 10:14 am

and i quote, "14 March chrisitians like to control their followers through fear". Have you heard of the expression, the pot calling the kettle black? How is this different to how HA control their followers and intimidate people that oppose them?

Geagea is the only one that has done bad? You said, "why would anyone follow a criminal of war/ corrupt politician / hypocrite". This is absolute nonsense. I am not going to sit here and defend every action that was undertaken by the LF, but dont make him out as the only "criminal" that we have in Lebanon. Difference between the LF and FPM is that we can disagree with Samir Geagea or any officials without being insulted. Do FPMers have that same freedom that they are so-called fighting for?

If we are going to talk about criminals, lets do so fairly. Lets put Michel Aoun on trial for leaving his men to die whilst he fled the country. Lets put him on trial for the useless harb ilgha2. Lets put him on trial for his pathetic attempt of photoshop propaganda against the LF. That is fraud!

You want to talk about mafia's? Lets talk about the Hariri and Frangieh families.

This could go on forever, my point is - dont come here and bash one person directly, when there are countless others that have done the same, and in most cases, worse!

I agree that Jumblat is just as bad yet even worse than Geagea, so is Berri Arafat and many others.
But he hasn't changed at all! The cirumstances have! Before he was the leader of one of the strongest militias in Lebanon, now he is the leader of a small minority party.

Listen man, you're being too direct here in bashing il hakeem. Just because I said certain views that might align with other parties or groups, it doesn't mean I'm not with the LF. Let's not be too hypocritical here. If geagea is a criminal then so is jumblat and berri. I see that geagea gets the most blame due to the fact of him being christian which I also don't like in lebanese society where some people get away with it and some don't. Just because a person stands out of the crowd, it doesn't mean he's to get all the blame. Geagea made mistakes in the past and many to be exact just like every other politician and leader including sheikh bashir. Dr.Geagea has become really wise since being released from prison and he read the Quran many times there along with lots of books. But in the end of the day, the LF kind of follows the batrak and the batrak follows the vatican.I personally strongly dislike the vatican due to the fact that they are the most corrupt institution that falsely claims to represent most of christianity while contradicting their role and actually harming its followers by doing basically nothing to influence the world on a global scale. That aside, lots in the LF believe that a federalist state is needed so the Lebanese christians will still have a presence in the country. They feel that if they don't carve out the land now and permanently and have direct control over the christian strongholds then the lebanese christians will immigrate and we will loose hold of the country. Christianity has brought much beauty to the middle east and contributed to its rich diversity. It is also the main protector of Lebanon in the past and if it wasn't for the Maronites then we would of been part of Syria. For that reason it must be preserved. The other thing I want to point out is that we as the LF are missing adressing the main root of the problem. What is the point of cutting of a small branch but not focussing on cutting down the entire tree? The fact of the matter is whether I like it or not, it lies in Zionism. It is the single most destructive force to come to this earth and hijack the names of jews and christians. Which the vatican is working directly with and for that reason I denounce their authority or morality. Those who want to fanatically support the vatican and zionism do not actually know what they are doing. So my point is don't hold any bias to any group or people just because they think a certain way. Instead you can get them to agree with you or even comply to terms or ideas if you show them the truth about a matter and get the reality on the problem. That's what I'm doing here although getting attacked by many who like to protect the corrupt. Those same people are the ones who like us to think that the people who are actually protecting the 10452 are the bad guys. We are doing an awarness campaign because if the LF continues the way it's going. It will turn into basically null.

Great example Mike! I wish I thought of that, was too busy trying to understand Thersina's logic and again, what war was she talking about... But you see Mike a secularist state does not benefit them, because they can no longer scare people into voting and siding with them. 14 March chrisitians like to control their followers through fear... why would anyone follow a criminal of war/ corrupt politician / hypocrite if that homo habilis ( not eveolved enough to deserve the name homo sapien ) wasn't offering protection? protection from a danger that doesn't exist! that is extortion a method used by the mafia...

Guys, lets stop going in circles. Between the time I was 1 and when I turned 30 Lebanon went from bad to worse and will only worsen in the near futire as long as we have the same old politicians in office :( w akid backed by this sectarian constitution.

Bottom line is this, the problem of all unresolvable conflicts is the same, whether in north Lebanon, south Lebanon, jabal Lebenen and Achrafiyeh, each side suffers from a deep rooted sectarianism, each side believe that only their wound matters !!!

You may or may not believe in that, but the solution is secularism. Otherwise, khalikun da7bo ba3ed..

A secular Lebanon without being anti faith is what we need..
