Dakheel el 3ouroube te3eetak
Posted by N10452Our beloved and respectful LF responsible in Akkar was speeching the crowds regrouped in the Pro-Government festival organized by 14th of march in Akkar , and was defending The Arab culture and Arab league so proudly it sickened me.
Where are Charles Malek and Fouad Frem el Boustani to listen to those LFers? ya 3ayb el shoum bass … and whats the worst here ? His family name is Kadisha, a PURE Arabic name ???

I didn’t see any problem in what he said. Again, you set on criticising LFers, and THAT SICKENS ME!! On the one hand I should thank you for your efforts of multiple posts on this site, and that’s why I check on this page as much as I check on An-Nahar, LF official website and LBC page. On the other hand, why don’t you ponder your criticism… It’s just a suggestion… you clearly rule around this page…

Charbel,
We speak french and we are in the Francophone countries, does it make us French ?
Any member in the Arab league is a member in the Islamic league, does it make us an islamic country ?
I accept having an Arab heritage, but my culture is far from being an Arab one, that is if there is anything called Arab culture ( i would be grateful if you can provide me with a definition of it).
8. Mohammad | December 9th, 2006 at 4:03 pm
There is no problem. Don’t look at “al 3oroubah” as what you see from syria… This word has no proper definition. We speak arabic and we are in “Arab league” but we don’t have to have the same culture as all Arab countries. Sheikh Bashir used the Arabic language in his speeches and Hafez Al Asad used Arabic also, Can we say both of them are similar because they are ARABS!!! NOWAY :))))

thank you for proving my point N10452
where did he say we are Arabs? he said we speak Arabic and we are in the Arab league that’s it.

You have to remember ya N1045 the context in which this speech was delivered. It was delievered to a crowd that prides itself on its arabic heritage, and ancestory, and he is trying to remind them of it, and to stay true to it. Isn’t that the basic principle of the LF: give everybody the basic right, and the freedom of expressing who they are.
Leish inta w Cedars ma bet fikkou an sama rabboun lal ouwet wa samir geagea ba2a. Don’t you have anything better thing to do than that? I hear the OTV is hiring.

General Wehbe, is a very knowledgably person, who speak the language of mind.
In addition, when you are talking to a specific mass, the terms you use and the people’s you chose should be relevant to them.
Add to it politics, add to it… that i don’t see in problem in what he said
w finally when you say Joubran, you say charles malek and fouad frem el boustani… dont you think that ahmad chawki was chosen to send a msg for the mass; form one side joubran el arez w lebnen from other side ahmad chawki wal 3ourouba w al kadayia el isslamia.
This is diversity, this is 3ayech mouchtrak your values with mine…
today hayde el mou3edale… boukra nobody knows but for sure it will contains our value for the simple reason that as long as we as ouwet exists, Christians, Christians values and Lebanese issues are protected. This we should be fully aware & sure off and this is what makes us different than all parties of Christian society.
15. Irange | December 10th, 2006 at 10:22 am
Dear N10452, what ouwet you want the one that kills Muslims and Druze? ya3ne if we are able to find a common ground to live with those people we have to say No… let us go to war and keep killing each other?!
What ouwet you want, the one that say you killed me in the past ya walid jounblat, i will stay with you bi3adewe for ever. ya khayieh we have two choices the first and best to build a country as we are trying to do so and this mean to accept the others and try to share the values with. if this will not succeed, our second option will be tokssim… in both cases ouwet can find itself.
Criticizing is a great issue, but we don’t want the criticizing to be 3ala tarikit michel aoun.
Sorry for the tichbih, kindly don’t take it as an offense :)
Waiting for your replies!

Haideh el LF jdideh … It sounds like the Baath party. Ya di3an kil el tad7iyat.
17. N10452 | December 10th, 2006 at 11:23 pm
Irange,
Le the LF that was founded by Bashir and Samir was killing Muslims & Druzes because they considered themselves non-Arabs?
Ni7na mou2ewame 3am bitdefi3 3an 6000 sene 7adara .. mich 3am jemi3itna el 3arabiyye ..
We were always the ones who took initiatives when everyone was hesitating, who lead when others followed, who defended our heritage and freedoms while others were ashamed of doing so.
I have a question for you, if an LFer said the same 3 years ago, what would ur reaction have been ?? I just wish we could get back in time and put the same statement.
Who said anything about not accepting the others? I highly respect the diversity in Lebanon and all its cultures, because that is what makes Lebanon so special.
The LF is against tokseem just so u know.
Finally, el 3aysh el mouchtarak ya Irange bikoun an equal and fair one, mich 6 deputies and 1 minister, mish having no word in any of the decisions being taken.
>>”the terms you use and the people’s you chose >>should be relevant to them.”
Are you serious here? so we need to change our lines accordingly to the crowds we address ? Politics is politics and PRINCIPLES are PRINCIPLES, dont ever mix btw them.
Am dissapointed of your answer.
18. Irange | December 11th, 2006 at 10:20 am
Dear 10452,
First to be clear, I don’t see Samir Geagea, nor any person on this earth as a God. I am not of those people who follow anyone blindly so my comments aren’t to defend the person(s) but the point of view.
I totally agree that our kadiye isn’t el dife3 3an el jem3a el 3arabiyi… w I fully agree about el 3ayech el mouchtarak el nakess (although here I want to mention that the 1 minister is bcoz lahoud is the president and he wanted to have his share of Christians ministers w here I was against the way things went up in that period. they shouldn’t agree to form a government before Lahoud resign w ken Lezim y7oto da’3it seyyesseh 3ale…)
To go back to the main subject, what makes the difference between our points of views is that you and many LFrs I know always keep referring to the past… Brother do you accept that one person come and say: “N10452 when u were 18yrs old you were doing so and so and your ideas were so and so… than today I don’t want to be your friend & or I don’t want to accept you in my work”
Were you the same person 3 years ago…?
While, I didn’t forget the past But I look to the FUTURE. I look to “loubnan 2awalan” (by the way wasn’t this slogan one of our kadiye?)
tayeb today if there is other people saying my words I refuse them.
Tell me do you see any danger on the Christian community from Lebanese forces today’s actions and issues? Do you see threatens in Samir Geagea alliances on the Christian community and on the 6000 yrs kadiyeh we fight for. If yes, kindly post and we can discuss one by one.
My friend, today if you mention A7mad Chawki, this doesn’t mean that you changed your principles? Ba3den yes for sure, when you target a crowd the things you say should be relevant for them. This isn’t by NO MEAN means changing neither your principles nor your lines… Today we are in alliance… for our best or not, this day will prove it. For me those people are saying what I used and I ll keep saying…
Finally, their nothing stable in politics… w be sure no one of the Lebanese forces will accept to change his beliefs because the day he will; he will not be anymore part of this community. One wish: let us look to the long run result.
Best Regards,
