Blowing a 64 years old in the middle of the day in one of the most crowded streets …

Those are the criminals we are facing, that know no mercy and that have no respect for human life ..
I might even say those are Animals ! not just criminals ..

They just dont get it that nothing is gonna stop us from getting a new president and kicking them out once and for all ..
I just hope 14th of March politicians will once and for all take that historic decision of closing ALL BORDERS with Syria and spreading the army there at any cost .. let them take this decision and let the next president be the one to apply it once the dog Lahoud is kicked out ..

So that’s your solution???!!!!! close the damn borders????!!!! then what. where the hell do you think you live in. This is LEBANON PEOPLE. Syria is our only outlet to the goddamn east. Most of the products in the lebanese markets come from syria, what are you gona about that, unless you’re contemplating the idea of opening the “SOUTH” borders, cause that a whole other ball game.
“how we allow them to live among us!” ya abou hatab. why don’t you just round them up and burn them to hell, maybe put them in a church and do it (very KKK), how would you like that. 2no i understand you’re made, and so am I. but that’s not the way to deal with this situation. We need to come into terms with each other, reconciliation should be made. cause believe me son, when war comes, none of you (both camps) will be the winner, politically or militarly

we should all just stop for a second and morn the falling MP, RIP

Wlik rou7o ba2a 7eje Syria is our only outlet wou our only medre chou !!

Half of our people are outside Lebanon cause of Syria, most of our politicians are killed cause of Syria …

No reconciliation no nothing !! close the damm borders, beat every syrian worker and kick him out of Lebanon …

    7eje ba2a tefkeer mitil el tijjar wel masla7jiyye !

Syria won’t stop until Lebanon becomes its province. Every Lebanese should come back and fight for Lebanon. Opening borders with Israel is a good idea, Israel is capitalist and Western as Lebanon should be. This Eastern influence in Lebanon is a poison that Hizbolla is pushing down Lebanese throats. To be free, Lebanon must be Syria-free, then there’ll be true liberty!

  • 10. darko | September 19th, 2007 at 10:42 pm

masla7jiyye????!!!!!! fuck it, you know what, if that’s what it comes down to, then close the f***ing border for all i care and tell you what, while you’re added why don’t we go to war again, cause apparently the last one didn’t settle everything. the last time around, we had two opposing ideologies, witch the end result of the war had one of them defeated. But apparently the ideology was defeated and not wiped out , so it spread like a virus into other faction. Maybe this time around will settle things for one and for all, IF NOT, we can just have another one.

it’s not Syria who drove these people out, it’s the stupid government actions and the Harriri Sr. plan to privatize everything in Lebanon in order to enter the WTO. Lebanese youth is quitting Lebanon, not because the Syrian worker took his job as construction worker, it’s because the western worker has took his position in the corporation.

anh theres a diffrence between open boarder and closed boarder

open boarder anyone can come to lebanon with a syrian passport

closed boarder tightlly secured markets comes in thats it…

how does other countries get there stuff lets see how dus UK get all there stuff from Spain oh yeah the port theres other solutions but Syria is the cheapest one with closed boarders the market will be putin %35 more thats it but we live happily ever after and how is hassouna supposed to get there weps not from the sea unifell is patroling the sea 24/7

arze, are you a girl or a boy?

  • 21. mikel | September 21st, 2007 at 1:49 am

I am fully for closing the border.

    HOWEVER

You have to take several facts into considiration:

The army is heavily infiltrated by Hezbollah and still has many officers in its high command that pledge their loyalty to Syria.

And even if the army was clean there are simply not enough soldiers to guard the entire border.
They don’t have the technology which means that they have to use more soldiers and put up old-fashioned checkpoints.

Plus the army needs to have a large presence in the south, as amended in UNSCR1701.
And they have to guard the inside of the country.

We’ve all seen what heppened when the Syrians closed the border passings in the north; the’re are Lebanese kids who go to school to in syria.

I don’t think it’s physically possible to close the borders.

And if we do close it, they can still smuggle terrorists and weapons by sea.

Not to mention the terrorists who are hiding in palesto camps.

This is a problem that can’t be solved beyn layle w du7aha.

Every time they assasinate someone, you say the borders should be closed N.
Maybe you can explain the issue more clearly.
