It looks like Salafists refused to fall for Hezbollah’s trap .. If only Aoun realized that before signing his shameful MOu ..

I am not sure what made them change their minds, i have a feeling they are gonna fall for that same trap again, but what the heck, for the time being na3eeman ya Abbas

Maybe Ahdab exerted some influence regarding teh MOU and maybe the government pledged to provide them with welfare assistance and funding. This should be done long before…but the question is who is teh last blast in Tripoli??????????

  • 2. Rima | August 19th, 2008 at 8:30 pm

**Who is behind the last blast in Tripoli?

  • 3. N10452 | August 19th, 2008 at 8:34 pm

I told u .. Jihadists and they are different from Salafists ..

Jihadists are sort of brainwashed Salafists turned into violent terrorists … there is a very thin line btw them …

The problem is Jihadists are being exported from Iraq and those who committed that bombing can be from non-local groups ..

  • 4. Rima | August 19th, 2008 at 8:39 pm

    N
Very logical analysis…I tend to agree.I found it hard to accept that local people are messing with the army…..

    Anonymous,

Last thing I heard they were ur Friend Hizb who have supported and signed MoU with the salafiyyeen. So mabrouk for them and for you.

    N,

Aoun was realizing everything before signing the MoU, but he did because this was his major objective, diving christians and bring the country into hell.

  • 16. Danny Badr | August 20th, 2008 at 12:08 am

yeah I guess you are right..The Salafis feel more in common with HAriri and his little poodles.

  • 19. Omega | August 20th, 2008 at 5:36 am

ha ma raye7 za7ef towards them ya rima.
mabsooteen ennou ha and salafiyyi ma ettafa2ou? laysh mabsooteen? ken badkon yehon ma yetef2ou mahaik? why? u want those hamajiyyi to keep destroying tripoli? akeed betkoonou mabsooteen iza 2 parties didn’t agree in lebanon.
let me ask a question. are the salafiyyi following the syrian moukhabarat?
if ur answer is yes then what made them disagree with hezballa if u think that hezballa is a syrian tool?
if ur answer is no then who do u think is backing them to create fights in lebanon? u have always accused the syrians of creating problems.

never think that those salafiyyi are working for ur hakim’s benefit . they are working for hariri’s agenda . do not praise them and hail to them for what they are doing. beware of them.
a final word : mabrook 3laykon el salafiyyi and el shahhal . they are ur new heros in ur war of hatred towards and against aoun.

    are the sunnies divided now?
if yes then roo7 shekh w nem.
if no then how come they are not divided when hariri got 70% of their votes , while the christians are divided when aoun got 70% of their votes? in both cases roo7 shekh w nem.
ur false theory of the christians being divided remains a theory and not a reality. show us in 2009 elections what can ur hakim do. but until then, whether u like it or not, christians are not being divided. their leader is AOUN. as for the frefeet, they also have their 200 leaders which when u do a simple division process u will find that each one of their 14 march za3eem has about 200 followers except the ewet and amin gemayel who have about 2000 each. ya3ni kamen roo7 shekh w nem.

  • 22. Omega | August 20th, 2008 at 5:46 am

no one deserves to be president more than aoun. but ur problem is that ur happiness towards aoun not being a president hides a strong hatred towards aoun .
but what did u accomplish by aoun not becoming president? do u think that the current president is stronger than aoun? meen kelemtou masmoo3a aktar? who is defending christian rights now more?
i hope u realise the consequences of ur actions and hatred towards aoun.

  • 23. Michele | August 20th, 2008 at 7:19 am

Y Omega shoo hal class!!! we shoo hal logic!!! Behhannik!!!

As for your : “ur problem is that ur happiness towards aoun not being a president hides a strong hatred towards aoun .”
Correction: Our happiness towards aoun not being a president shows great love to Lebanon 1st.

as for Aoun defending christians u know it’s bullsh*t; Aoun is defending more HA than the christians.

  • 24. Omega | August 20th, 2008 at 7:30 am

michelle this is ur opinion (and i respect it) but definately not the opinion of the majority of the christians.
eh mbayyan how much u love lebanon ya michelle. if u follow ja3ja3 who is a criminal and u call this loving lebanon then please explain to me why does the majority vote for aoun and support him rather than ja3ja3? now please don’t come tell me that the majority are hebel and the few who follow ja3ja3 are bright and love lebanon. please be logical when responding and don’t act like a child. oh and please don’t tell me that the majority do not see the light of the salvation of lebanon and only ja3ja3’s few followers can see that light.

  • 25. Rodge | August 20th, 2008 at 7:50 am

    Omega,

    Thx for your respect.

I will take ur advice, but i’m looking for somewhere to do it before I go to sleep, since my bathroom seat is out of service now, so please do me a favor an open ur mouth for a while, I want to “shekh before ma nem”.

Aoun doesn’t have the majority of christians. They voted for him in 2005 because he was completely against Hezbollah and SSNP etc. Since then he has reversed his views and lost that majority.

  • 27. Omega | August 20th, 2008 at 12:24 pm

    mickel
on waht basis u say he lost the majority? has there been any elections since 2005?
if u are counting on ja3ja3’s estimates alla y3eenkon ya khayyi .
based on last elections aoun has the majority whether u like it or not.
from now till 2009 u can’t say the opposite.
after 2009 elections if aoun loses majority then we can say he has no majority. but until then, we all must respect the christians opinion and decision.
by the way, only ja3ja3’s sources say aoun lost majority. all other sources say he didn’t .
so the best option is to wait till 2009 . but until then, AOUN HAS THE MAJORITY SUPPORT OF CHRISTIANS.

  • 28. Rima | August 20th, 2008 at 12:56 pm

disgusting…chaab heik akhlekou biyestehal aktar min heik…

  • 29. Tarek | August 20th, 2008 at 12:57 pm

All other salafists and non salafists religious groups were outraged by this “MOU” and things became looking really ugly for them especially with people dying and leaving their homes in Tibaneh Vs Jabal where the “Alawyiyi” are said to have been supported by HA.

Good they still have Yagan, though I think Yagan in the end will either leave them or leave Tripoli for the sake of his own safety.

  • 30. Michele | August 20th, 2008 at 1:07 pm

Ya Omega bisharrafak, whenever did I say that I follow Geagea, but it’s a typical Aouni thing when u don’t like Aoun it means u like Geagea!!
I know it should be difficult for u to understand that there could be actually FREE people who could only love Lebanon n not worship a person.

As for the majority of christians obviously u only watch OTV coz FLASH NEWS Omega, lots of Christians have lost faith in him. Just in my surroundings n my family who were pro him, they hate his guts now. Most of the people i know, regret badly for voting for him.

So get down from that cloud n get back to earth…

One thing only i could agree with ur general, when he called u:”ya shaab el ghashim”!!!!!!!!

  • 31. Michele | August 20th, 2008 at 1:13 pm

*whenever did I say that I follow Geagea

What i meant: When did I ever say

  • 32. Mickel | August 21st, 2008 at 2:06 am

    Omega

I’m saying he lost the majority based on the Matn elections where you won by the narrowest of margins with the help of Michel l Murr, SSNP, and the Shi’a.
If those Shi’a voters weren’t there, we would’ve won the election.

Plus the Christians voted for him in 2005 based on his little orange book which was against Hezballah.
