As much as i am against threatening anyone for any political stance he/she takes, this woman has no right whatsoever to defend neither herself nor her criminal husband !! Those officers were directly responsible for covering every single assassination the Syrians and their intelligence did, and even participated executing many of them !!

Those are not politicians ! Those are the ones who had the job done! Those are a danger to our society and any society and better stay locked up for good !

I hope she ll join her husband in prison very soon ! thats where she fits best!

oh oh Arze, I guess you forgot how your people the aouniest were the first to demonstrate against the 4 generals in 2005, look at you defending them now, you should change your name to Homsiee

  • 3. Tarek | April 30th, 2008 at 1:16 am

Arze at your logic, we should let all criminal in the prison go. We should also let all prospective murderers go unpunished, after the war tens of thousands of murderers were left with no punishments …

    N, I couldn’t agree more …

  • 4. kezballah | April 30th, 2008 at 1:31 am

I don’t agree to throw the wife of Sayid in jail, arrogance is not a crime unfortunately :-)

But an easy answer: Your husband was the king of arrest without trial so how did you accept it? We have to accept the arrest because it is the UN investigators who ask for it, we can not ask the UN for help and then refuse to do what they ask.

jamil, they lived by the sword they die by the sword, they are not innocent of the crimes of August in 2001, you can watch it on TV they were the head of security, they are not innocent of the arrest of Toufic Hindi it is also on TV what they did to him, they are not innocent of the fake trial of DSG, ETC. ETC.

For me, let them rotten in hell not only in prison, and this is the punishment they deserve among others who are still outside.
At least they are staying under good conditions, not like the ones who they helped to bring to underground jails and without any guilt.

As kezballah said and he’s right, they lived by the sword they die by the sword, and instead of trying to get them freed, they should ask for the freedom of our prisoners in Syria and Israel, or they forgot about them???
Aounists, did u forget our prisoners in Syria like ur General did, and you just focused on the 4 criminals who are getting what they deserve?? it’s really a shame.

  • 9. jamil | April 30th, 2008 at 2:47 pm

oh god really you are christians hahaha
they lived by the sword they die by the sword hahahahahaa

  • 10. jamil | April 30th, 2008 at 2:48 pm

by the way we did not forget the dertainees in syiria and israel these people are there by your hands and your allies hands so do not brag about remembering them

  • 11. Rodge | April 30th, 2008 at 4:34 pm

congratulations jamil, and u win the prize of total misleading.
You said about the detainees “these people are there by your hands and your allies hands” ha ha ha ha really funny, and what about the 4 generals u’re asking for their freedom, didn’t they hand the syrians many Lebanese, what about ur general who run away in 1990 and kept his men to be emprisoned?? and you have the guts to doubt if we are christians, you who have allies such as hassan nasrallah, sleiman franjieh who curses the church more than he open he eats, and wi2m wahhab, nabi berri etc… those who have no respect towards our religion and religious leaders.

    Allah ynawwirkoun

  • 12. kezballah | April 30th, 2008 at 6:26 pm

Rodge, jamil wins the prize of total bullshiting, we are Christians but it doesn’t mean we don’t believe in justice or we don’t believe in punishment ya jamil ya beautiful.

jamil if you don’t want us to talk about the prisoners in Syria because thet are there by our hands then why your General doesn’t talk about them? Shou bass shatir to talk about the dead? What about the living in the Syrian jails, he said he doesn’t have any do you believe that??

    Allah yse3dikon ya jamil

  • 13. Rodge | April 30th, 2008 at 8:13 pm

    kezaballah,

jamil has just disappeared, I think he run, the same the Aounists do when they are faced with the truth.
But I’m afraid he went to visit the 4 generals in jail to show them sympathy, since he is the “real christian” who only believes in peace, and that’s why he’s supporting and defending the most peaceful party in Lebanon, which is Hizbullah of course, the divine party, walaww!!!!
It is amazing how the Aounists logic has turned upside down.

They always open the history books and talk about those who were Syria’s allies etc…

I have only a question here: Who is better? the person who was bad and changed to the good, or the person who was good and became bad??? or maybe the truth considering Michel Aoun the person who was bad and is still bad or let me say becomes much more bad.

    To Rodge,kezballah,N10452

I am so sick and tired of hearing about these officers. I am not writing this to defend them nor to be a part of their corrupted politics, but you have to admit that our judicial system is not fair to these guys. More than 150,000 lebanese lost their lives during the civil war. Sadly, no one was there at that time to investigate their death. 2ino now days, Hariri’s blood is more valuable than all the civil war victims??

I will never trust this judicial system anymore. A system that can’t capture the real criminals behind all assassinations took place in the past 2 yrs is clearly in no shape to run this country.

I have been a lifelong UN supporter, but for the first time in my life I will likely be agaisnt this shady international tribunal. This country is not going to witness another fake tribunal similar to saddam’s one.

    Thank you.

    Ali 1559,
I am sure you are aware of the amnesty law ALL lebanese agreed on to put behind the crimes of war before 1990 …your claim is wrong here ..

As for the tribunal, it didnt start its trials yet so i dont understand why you would doubt its credibility … we are talking millions of dollars being spent on a highly professional court …

And how was saddam’s trial unfair again ?

  • 16. Rodge | May 1st, 2008 at 11:44 am

    Ali1559,

It’s not about Hariri’s assassination or elase, it’s about what those 4 generals have done when they were in power, it’s for the sake of our young man and women who were captured and beaten and who suffered a lot for the sole reason because they were asking for freedom of speech, and for dignity, among them many of the FPMers.
And i’m not saying that they are the only ones who were responsible for what happened during that period, but at least we have the opportunity to present them to trial.
U’re right that the judicial system is not fair in Lebanon, but at least it’s better than it was in the last 18 years, and also the international court would be much fair than you think, despite the political conflict around the issue.

  • 17. kezballah | May 1st, 2008 at 12:05 pm

Ali, the UN tribunal is one chance to find who was the #1 assassin since the civil war, it is not only justice for Hariri it is also justice for thousands before Hariri. I respect all martyrs the same but when you kill a president or a prime minister is not the same like when you kill a soldier or civilian, we need to know who did this big crime.

About the UN remember the trial of Saddam was by Iraqi/US government not by the UN so it will not be the same, I don’t say it will be perfect but it is much better than other ways and we don’t need to trust the Judicial system in Lebanon if the UN is in charge. Maybe the UN will help us maybe it will not help us but it is the best option we have so I wish you give it a chance.

  • 18. kezballah | May 1st, 2008 at 12:12 pm

PS: True it is not fair to keep someone in prison without judging them but the friend of the prisoners (Assad) is still playing dirty games, he sent the agent Husam to trick Mehlis by saying he is a witness and then he run to Syria and pretend he was paid to accuse Syria, he is still sending weapons to light the wars in Lebanon, he is still killing the ones who hate him in Lebanon. So how we can play fair and release these prisoners?

  • 19. Tarek | May 2nd, 2008 at 12:59 pm

I’m sick of people defending these criminals. The worst thing is that they admit that they are criminals … what the hell is with this logic ?
