  This is aoun, he gets his popularity from attacking others and unfortunately the ouwet aren’t scarry (since they are unarmed) now so he can use us as scarecrow…

  Aoun is against naturalization and accuses KSA & Hariri to be behind it. Well to be honest, i haven’t seen any sign of it yet and even the Sunnites reject it. I understand his fears, but isn’t Hezbollah a bigger threat at the moment ?

  - Hariri got us the international tribunal, something Aoun has been dreaming of for many many years, yet he found a way to put himself against it. Why ?

  1- HARIRI family is FULLY ENDORSING the SETTLEMENT and NATURALIZING of palestos in lEBANON and this goes evenn before TAEF .

  2-the International tribunal was FORCED with the blood of martyrs and the question here is WHy the ASSASINATION of Late bachir gemayel and poresident Rene mouawad are not included ???

  it is SAUDIs who used their power to ask for INt tribunal ..

  3- this Int . Tribunal will try to break the shiite, who after christians , are also against palestinian settlement in lebanon .
  the christians were bROKEN in 1990 and now they want to break the shiite .

  it was HARIRI and his contacts that CONVINCED AOUN to eliminate the LF in order to become president of the state.
  that Idiot believed him and started the war .
  the USA was doing its best in this field by PROVOKING the LF against the STUPIDITY of AOUN ..
  the Lf did not wont to enter a SUICIDE war with AOU – LA but …finally it succumbed.

  it was a TERRIBLE mistake.

  GAEGAE should had played better BUT he alos was fooled by the SAUDIS +USA +Hariri.

  well, could it be because hariri is pretty much eating the whole country, terrifying us from hezballah while the sunnis and palestinians are just as hungry for power and have just as much hate for the christians as the chias do?

  this is where 14m christians show their stupidity: they defend hariri and fight with other christians to defend hariri…

  Alfred your argument makes no sense!

  Aoun is defending Hezbollah all the time. I think Aoun likes to attack anyone in the government that has more power than him, since Harriri has the most power that is why he is attacked.

  Do you think Geagea who didn’t break for Syria would break for Hariri ???

  Do you think the best way for Hariri and sunnis to control the country is to ally with LF and Kataeb and the Patriarch ???

  If Syria failed by force, money and jail and oppression, do you think Hariri will succeed with politics ???

  I mentioned this earlier, Aoun echoes what people want to listen to, Hariri stole the country, Hariri is corrupt, Saudi is buying the country, etc.

  Notice he doesn’t mention Iran buying Dahyieh or the Entire south of Lebanon, or Qatar or Syria cutting peaces of landed near the border on monthly basis.

  As long as Saudi doesn’t pay him money, he will keep attacking them, as well as Egypt.

  Aoun doesn’t bite the hand that feeds him, he is a good dog as long as the bone supply is good.

  Getting in harmony with Hariri for no money, means suicide for him. He will lose the main income from Iran and will lose the military protection from Hizbullla.

  eliane , i am not an 8m christian, i am a former 14 m christian who finally sees that they are all the same crap.. aoun is defending hezballahh? well they wont be needing him now since nobody seems to have a problem with them nowadays!!! hariri certainly has no problem with them, geagea has no voice whatsoever anymore! N is probably the only person that can back me up on that, on the lack of balance in m14’s alliance, its the only thing hes been takling about for the past couple of years, ive only come to that realization the last couple of WEEKS!

  PIERRE, you got me there! i hope youre glad that its hariri who has the most power instead of aoun! between a sunni and a christian -no matter how crazy he might be, still a christian- im glad hairir has over 30 mps while geagea is playing with 5

  fad14, didnt geagea already break to his allies? when jumblat attacked him personnally, and the christians generally, did he show any characteristic of a true leader?
  when sanyoura toured the arab countries to rebuild the palestinian camps while our soldiers were still being killed, did geagea stand up to them?
  when hariri wanted to have 4 mps out of 5 in achrafiyeh, wasnt geagea broken when he had to give up his armenian candidate?
  when geagea swore that he wouldnt sign anything he hadnt promised in qatar last year, and wound up signing “with tahaffoz”, wasnt that the behavior of a broken man?

  The point is, i am sick and tired of m14 christians thinking that they would get to anytjinng by attacking other chrsitians and loving saad hariri! as mad as aoun can be, hes still a christian! this hatred that we have for each other is a gift that we give to our alllies.. its ridiculous..

  The problem is not is jeajea’s weakness the problem is in the fact that the christians arent as strong as before, and all this because of the idiot aoun. Given what jeajea has in his hands i think he is doing a great job. It very easy to listen to aouni propaganda and accusing jeajea of all the shit we are going thru but open both eyes and don’t expect too much and youll see jeaejea is doing all that can be done.

  a Question for you N: why would GMA loves Harriri,( who is by the way in SAUDI now tying to form the LEBANESE gov. )

  After the 2005 elections, GMA, who got at that time 70 % of the christian votes was eleminated from any kind of power and influence by Harriri and his allies who has been using all type of propaganda to reduce GMA influence ..
  Harriri wanted another puppet who work for him… GMA refused..

  If you remember when Aoun came back from his exile in 2005, he emerged as a strong christian leader and changed the political balance that existed beforehand, Aoun’s self declared program at the time was mostly against what Hariri stood for…even when Hariri tried to cut a deal with him, GMA placed conditions that Hariri with his mega ego could not accept and so they both became rivals. I truly believe that GMA had a noble purpose at the time to try and change things in Lebanon in a positive manner BUT he just lost control of the situation and was misled into compromising his own ideals by signing the stupid MOU with hizb which put im at odds with his own program and many of his constituents. Hariri’s support for naturalization of palestinians is well known ya N, the sunnis now, more than ever, need them in the event that there is a major conflict with hizb. Geagea is an honest man but unfortunatey he is being used and funded by Hariri to counter Aoun’s influence among the christians and that is where the frustraton of Aoun comes with Hariri. Aoun sees imself as an independent thinker who is not accountable to anyone, but the reality is that he himself has become hostage of the same problem that plagues Geagea and other christian leaders by alligning themselves with muslim led coalitions and beng dragged into a fight that is not their own! It sucks ya N where we find ourselves as christians today! We’re a long, long way from the ideals that we fought for!

  Dear N,

  Your analysis is perfect. However, one major point is missing: “AOUN HIMSELF”.

  The man wants to become president at any rate…and cannot understand why “HE THE LIGHT, THE EXTRAORDINARY, THE MAGNIFICIENT, THE NAPOLEAOUN, THE ST PAUL, THE NEXT TO GOD…” is not president …and will never be….(although he still thinks HE CAN: refusal of reality).

  AOUN needs to put this on someone. To find a CULPRIT who has blocked him so far…
  There are two responsible for that: The Batrak and Hariri (in that order)… which expalins the hatred for them!!!!

  The guy is very ill and it is aggravating. There is nothing you can do for him apart getting him a very competent psychiatric… and urgently.
