I was reading some old article i was sent and i was quite surprised how no one made a big deal out of that serious accusation ..
Maybe they all understood at last that Aoun is just a clown throwing lame accusations everytime he is cornered ..

English translation:
Aoun was asked : Do you see the last American speech as a start to an overall compromise with Syria ? or is it meant to intensify further the tensions in Lebanon ??

And he answered: I think they dont have any capability on intensifying the situation, An assassination is the maximum that can happen and this is how we should keep it. No one has the power to intensify the situation in Lebanon among those countries, and the threat is not only from Pr.Bush but also from Pr.Sarkozy and the United Nations. But I dont think they can shake the stability in Lebanon more than they did in politics and some incidents.

Source is from a Tayyar.org article.

Is it me or is he accusing the USA, France & the EU of taking part in those assassinations if not planning them ??

Does he even listen to what he says ??

    N,

You should not be surprised anymore by what Aoun says, since he lost anything related to logic and sanity, so for that reason no one saw that it deserves a commnent.
Next maybe he will accuse the Patriarche and the Vatican of these assassinations and explosions. anything can be said by this insane mad ex soldier

  • 3. Ziad | January 14th, 2008 at 11:30 am

As usual, protecting the real killers. He knows very well who the killers are but the deal he made with the devil forces him to say whatever he says and his stupid followers have no problem believing him.

He can enter in a HUGE ANGER and RAGE and BLOW UP !!!!

I beg help from patriot psychiatrists to save him NOW from the worst…

P.S: His attacks against the Batrak forfeit him from any christian leadership …He IS OUT…He has assassinated his own future by himself. Why would anyone do that if he is not INSANE ???

    philo,

I don’t know for sure if you deserve a reply for what you said, but just to show you that i have no problem in arguing and debatng logically whenever you or anyone else want that.
I’m ready to discuss with you in the most respectful way, and hope that I can convince you, or maybe you will, eventhough i highly doubt that.
It seems that you didn’t read any of my previous comments, i which i wrote many things about how fake is your Michel Aoun, and i put many arguments and proofs, so stop reading and showing only what you want, which becomes a trademark for you Aounists.
I’m ready to start a debate whenver you want, and i will give you the benefit to start, but i urge you to do that with respect and without any insults or empty talks
    Looking forward

    Philo,

it is obvious you belong to HA/Aouny comic book characters… you said”…genius to know that the satellites of US and Israel are 24hrs covering the “hot spot” Lebanon !!!
and yet they couldn’t help us in giving one clue concerning all the assassinations that happened in the past 3 years???”

My point that you do not posses any intellectual or thinking capacity. You must be watching a lot of late night hollywood flicks. You are asserting that these evil USa know everything because they are watching us by satellite 24/7??

Need I say more. Please consult a tech expert to learn more about satellite technology. You are a true aouny…” retarded young kid who has to leave at large because you are so hopeless that even the institutions will not take you in”….

    wassim,

It’s the first time i see you talking like that, and it must be an improvement in your personnality, eventhough you’re still offending people, but at least you spared me from this.
Anyway, and as i said to your friend philo, i’m ready and open to any fruitful discussion, and i promise all of you not to abandon any debate, and i don’t think you’re right about ouwet people, maybe only ur friends are like that.
Anyway, i’m inviting all Aounists to an open debate, maybe soemtimes we’ll not reply so soon, because i think we all have othr things to do in our lives, but at least i’m up for it and ready to do it in a respectful way and without any insult.
My problem ya wassim is that i can’t find any logic suggestions to debate, and when i ask for something i don’t find any arguments to prove ur people case.
As i remember, i asked twice last week for someone to mention only one achievement made by Aoun in his 19 years of political life now, but until now, nobody has presented any, and i’m sure they couldn’t found what i asked for.
Anyway, i’m ready to give you all the benefit to start the debate and i’m ready.
    See you

  • 13. philo | January 15th, 2008 at 10:33 pm

    Rodge
ok i will start first but at first let me thank this blog for the opportunity he is giving us in discussions.
rodge i will tell you my personal point of view and how i see things.
LF began as a militia with shekh bashir.
the objective was “hemeyet el wojoud el massiheh”
after harb el jabal the objective changed to be: “el mouhafaza 3al woujoud el massiheh” in other words the objective changed from hemeyet el solta el marounieh la eno nhafizz 3a shoube2eh menna hel solta.
in 1994 when geagea entered prison the main objective for LF was “bara2a bara2a samir geagea bara2a” and “syria out”
in 2005 the solo objective of LF is :” menkayeh b michel aoun”
as for aounist it’s the contrary they started to go to asr b3abda “menkeyeh bsamir geagea” in 1990 the goal of aounist is to put syria out and let GMA come back to lebanon
and now GMA is holding the flame of the christians in lebanon and pretend that he will defend him and he represent him!!!
he act the same way LF acted in it’s beginning

  • 14. Rodge | January 16th, 2008 at 4:07 pm

    ok Philo,

Thanks for being fair and I hope all the debates will turn to be fruitful and productive, since we all have the same target, which is to have a better Lebanon.
This time I will not comment on what you said, even though I agree with some points you mentioned, but i will show my view, the same way you did.
First I have to represent myself better, I should inform you that I’m not an LF in practice, of course I fought in the early years of war (1975 till 1977) since I was defending my region and my neighborhood in Ain Remmaneh, but after that I tended to look at things from a neutral position to better decide, so I’m not affected by anything or anyone, mainly that I live abroad now and I’m not under any influence from any part, especially that I’m an international journalist, though I read many reports, among them secret ones.
Anyway, what I like to say is that in each of us there is a certain support for the Lebanese resistance, represented by the LF, Kataeb and others, because if we look back, they are the ones who defended us, and who managed to jeep us in our land, of course not all of us, because in war you win and you lose, especially in Lebanon where there is some balance in power and force.
Of course the LF made many mistakes, but who didn’t, but at least, whether with Bashir, or later with Samir, they tried to build a society, they built institutions, they tried to organize themselves, and they have succeeded in many occasions, they also presented many proposals for future Lebanon, and the best proof is that GMA is using them in his proposals now, but the problem is as we say in Arabic “rayi7 3al 7aj wel ness rej3in”.
Now I’m not arguing who’s right, I’m suggesting to see who is wrong, or let me say who is the most wrong, who sis the biggest mistakes. I will answer:
    - the LF members made many surpassing and violations, yes I know, but they still a Militia by nature and birth, and we can accept that, but when the Army under GMA made similar acts also, and don’t tell me they didn’t, back in 1988 – 1990, members of the army were committing too much things against civilians, and I can tell you many stories about that. This is the first problem, an army should not act the same way a militia does.
    - Many troubles happened inside the LF, intifada etc… and that was so wrong, but at last we managed to end all these troubles and live a very good period after 1986, so everyone, among them Muslims, were coming to our eastern regions to spend some good times, and the LF institutions were arising and doing very good things, but GMA came and ended that period, we were living a statuquo, he didn’t accept it, so what he did??
    - He launched the first war he called it “Liberation”, he started it by shelling west Beirut and its civilian people, while he didn’t try to liberate any meter in fact he put his army in trouble to defend Souk el Gharb and other areas, and without the LF support he couldn’t managed this. A liberation war should be aimed to liberate, but he lost the target and used only the slogan.
    - Then after he launched the second war to unify the forces, instead he destroyed all the region and got kicked out in the end, and the Syrians entered the regions they were kicked from in 1978.
    - My problem, and I’m sure many people, with Michel Aoun, is that he always come where a good situation is, and he changed things into worse, and the same thing happened in 2005, where for the first time the Muslim community revolted in public against the Syrians and all Lebanese people have chanted the same slogans, the slogans that were initiated first by the Kataeb and the LF, and later by the FPM, and your people were at the heart of the 14 of March movement. But what happened next, GMA as usual, have traded places, and move to the other shore. I’m not arguing the reasons.
    - But even though I’m not mentioning reasons, I want to ask, what could justify an ally with Michel Murr, Sleiman Frangieh, Hassan Nasrallah, Nabih Berri, Wi’am Wahhab, Omar Karameh , Elias Ferzly, Kawmi Souri, Nasser Kandil etc…. and the biggest common thing between them is they are pro-Syrians, and at the same time we saw him going apart from many who were his allies, Carlos Eddeh, Dori Chamoun, maktan tansiq, etc…
    - I’m not saying that Jumblat, Hariri, etc… were not Syria’s allies, but we’re living in the present.
    - I took long time here, I will spare the details for later, but I have one question in the end, I posed this question one week ago and twice here, just someone tell me what is the achievement GMA managed so far to do for Lebanon, and I’m not asking about slogans and programs etc… I’m talking about steps, can you mention one sole achievement at least?? Please I want to know.
    - Finally, I want to say that I support the cause of 14 March not the people, and I observe that they are working for the best of the country, they do mistakes, lots of them, but at least they have good intentions in my opinion, and that’s why I support their cause, until I see other attitude.

Philo, Looking forward for your reply and I will be enthusiastic to go into details.

    rodge
    hi
in your briefing there was many points i would like to discuss. But the problem is that there is no “true” story!!! each party claim’s that the other party was responsible for the clash. honestly im 20 years old,
i was born in 1987 and my father was an army officer and believe me there is another version of the story.
but one thing is for sure that words can’t convince without proves.
but let’s be logic i tried to look to the matter like if i had the solution of an exercise but i didn’t have the questions. So i tried to find the questions asked by looking to the solution.
in other words you want to find out who f**ked up the most during war.
look to the result of 2005 elections.
you tell me now that people changed there mind… it’s not the point.
i ll give you an example, i come from a small village in ftouh kesserwan which gave 80% of it’s votes to GMA.
IT’S NOT BECAUSE THEY RED THE ORANGE BOOK!!! BUT BECAUSE THEY HATE GEAGEA.
in a small village people talk about people murdered and taxes being taken by force…
and im sure you can name thsnds of bad things GMA did. but the elections showed that people no longer want to be represented by such a person as samir geagea!!!
however the history is a discussion that lead to no where.
as for your question my friend:
1- don’t be naive in your thinking, you are a journalist!!! didn’t you understand the reason of “the liberation war”????
the primary objective was NOT to put syria out of lebanon.
the primary objective is to show that syria was an intruder who conquered our land. and unmask the truth that syria is here against our will!!! and not a country being asked by the lebanese to come save the situation like what syria used to claim.
2- after the taef when ALL accepted the “presence” of syria we were the only people reminding that the cause was not lost. and after the big humiliation and disgrace and sadness, we represented the hope that Lebanon was not lost yet. (in this cause LF later came along)
    3- anoun mouhasabit souriya; 1559
all the diplomats confirm that GMA was the pioneer in making these resolutions come true
4- and last the BIGGEST achievement that GMA is doing now, is he is proclaiming the right of the christians back
because of him im no longer scared by others and finally i found someone man enough to say NO!!!
while the others are like DOGS fed by their masters.
now my brother my turn to ask the question:
1- what is the solution for LF for disarming HA (other than sheep talk)?
2- why do “joe sarkis” doesn’t resign from a (hkoumeh bi beyena el wizareh ma3 silah HA w ma3 tehrir mazeri3 sheb3a)??? is that what LF has turned to be??? khiel sakhra who nod for everything???
3- why in 2005 the alliance with “the terrorist group” HA??? do you have any opinion in what is so called 14 march???
4- plz review all the promises that gave SG to you since he got out, w shouf kiff jaras halo, bedo ysa2it el ra2iss, wbeddo 50+1… 3al wa3ed ya kamoun…
    best regards

  • 16. Rodge | January 17th, 2008 at 12:05 pm

    Dear Philo,

First I thank you for the productive discussions, and it shows that we can really debate without having to insult each others, as we all have the same targets.
Anyway, to start with your first point you arised, you said that people elected Aoun because they hate Geagea, and I will add that those people also hate Hariri, Jumblatt, etc… but my question is how we can build a country on hatred?? And this is in my opinion the weakest point Aoun is depending on. Because he built his popularity on the people who were damaged or hurt by others, so they came around only for revenge, and unfortunately, those people are the ones working closely with him, while the others who really believed in him, even they were put aside, or they left.
Also, building a popularity on this kind of things is dangerous for the man himself, as he’s subject to lose it as soon as things changed, and they did already, the best proof we’re seeing in the universities, and in the Metn by-elections among others.
    - as for the liberation war, I totally disagree with you on the subject. You said the primary subject is to show that Syria was an intruder. Did people forget that the LF fought the Syrian for years before, and showed that they are intruders, does the world want a war to know that?? Of course not. Do we need to destroy the country to show something it was obvious and clear years before??? NOOO.
    - After Taef, you were among not the first to refuse the Syrian presence, you were side by side with the LF, and after came Kornet Chehwane, Jumblatt etc… Philo, u’re 20 years old ya man, someone is telling you this, maybe ur father, you should read more of the Lebanese history please, so you can judge by urself.
    - The Syrian accountability act, yes Aoun participated in this regard, and he had the biggest share, but there were people, Lebanese living in the US who worked on that, and they asked GMA for support and cooperation, and now many of them not to say all, are disappointed with him, and don’t think at all that he was the man behind the 1559, it’s a matter of US and France interest, don’t be fooled by thinking that GMA or anyone else can influence their policy.
    - As for the biggest achievement you described, proclaiming the right of the christians back??? Come on, talking is easy, but what he’s really doing?? Nothing. The first position for Christians in the state is still empty, and the responsible is….. anybody can say NO, and GMA is the best man in doing this, he’s the slogan man, he said back in 1989 he wants to “ykhalkhil el mousmar” in Syria, he wants to liberate Lebanon, he will stay in Baabda and no one will be able to remove him, he will stay and fight till the end, and we all know what happened. He said that he agrees on 95% of Hariri’s plan and thoughts, so now the 55 is doing all these troubles??? Come one!!!!
    - You said: what is the solution for LF for disarming HA (other than sheep talk)? What is the solution of GMA?? To sign memorandum?? What can we do with it?? Nothing, it made them even stronger. Honestly I can’t see the LF having any solution also to be fair.
    - why do “joe sarkis” doesn’t resign from a (hkoumeh bi beyena el wizareh ma3 silah HA w ma3 tehrir mazeri3 sheb3a)??? and why GMA was “etil halo” to enter this Government???? What is the problem if he is in the Government?? It’s about the Government real actions, not the bayan wizari, and even though they made lots of mistakes, but at least they are working hard considering the circumstances.
    - We should recognize that we as Christians are not strong as before, so we have to play politics and see what we can gain from that. We have to support the Patriarche in this regard, not to offend him like GMA and Sleiman Frangieh are doing.
    - In 2005 the alliance with HA aimed to the gain the elections, and it was wrong I recognize that, one of the 14 March mistakes.
    - As for the promises that gave SG to you since he got out, u’re right he couldn’t delivered, but who did??? There is a balance of forces in Lebanon, and politicians are alike, they all launch promises without being able to fulfill. The situation is not under any control, neither 14 nor 8 March.

I hope I could satisfied you with my answers, and take care. Move on to a newer postings in you next comments, as we will lose that with time

  • 17. philo | January 17th, 2008 at 2:29 pm

    hehe
    ok
i am not convinced yet. but we will keep the debates in further posts.
by the way i wish N open a debate about the tawtin, it’s funny he didn’t bring out this subject yet.
anyway it was a pleasure talking to you

  • 18. Rodge | January 17th, 2008 at 7:27 pm

For me too, and best wishes for you
