I demand explanations from our 14th of March allies, mainly Hariri and Fatfat.
Today was the first annual conference for the “Liberation Party”, that was legalied by Mr.Fatfat few weeks ago if not more.

I cannot understand how did we allow for such a party to be founded. It is a party that does not even recognize Lebanon. In fact, it calls itself
“حزب التحرير – ولاية لبنان”
meaning Lebanon is only a branch in their Islamic umma, how can we legalize a Lebanese party that does not accept Lebanon in the first place ?

It is true that we had such parties before like that, such as the SSNP, but does that mean we should let more parties similar to the SSNP grow? Didnt we learn how much harm those parties did to us ?

The Liberation party calls for applying the “Islamic Succession” in Lebanon and therefore for turning Lebanon into an Islamic state. It adds that Lebanon cannot be excep a Muslim country,
and that only the succession plan will only save Lebanon.

This party is questioning the existence of Lebanon and the Greater Lebanon declaration of 1920 and is refusing the pluralistic nature of our society, it wants another Lebanon, a purely Islamic one.

Added to that, it supports the Hezbollah ‘heroic’ acts against Israel and wants the Islamic Umma to stand against Israel and the Americans and the West.

I wanna ask first Mr.Fatfat why did he allow this party ? And second and most importantly i wanna ask Hakim why didnt we critisize or oppose this decision in the first place ?
Are we too busy meeting with Jamaa Islamiyya ?

Can you still have any doubt now that the cvountry is doomed at the hands of the these thugs? Our weakness has given to these groups the feeling that they get away with ..murder and they are… When are we, Lebanese of all confessions, stand up and say ENOUGH of these rantings? When are we gonna say we want to live in Peace for ourselves and our children??? Until that day, the others are doing their utmost to radicalize the country…. SAD… VERY SAD

fatfat should not allow this party who does not recognize lebanon and wants a islamic state.yalle bi 3assebb aktar chi enno the christians parties of 14th march (ouwet kateb kornet chehwan) are not criticizing that thing.i am really upset of our chriustians leaders and also i am upset how also in the other side aoun is with hezbollah and in every occasion he is defending them actually we did not have real leaders for the christians mos of the leaders are thinking about personnal interest.we have to applicate federalism.ne7na el massi7iyeh ma ken lazem nett7elaf ma3 7adan mennon wala ma 3 el moustaqbal wou el ichtirakiyeh wala ma3 hezbollah.

Wa3ed with all my respect to you . Lebanese Forces never lost the track , if there is anyone who lost the track is Michel Aoun for sure. Lebanese Forces did’nt change any of its beleifs. We were against syria as long as she’s not respecting the Sovereignty of our country and we were and we still against any political party having guns and arms other then the government. lebanese Forces didnt take us with an ally we don’t know from where it begins and where it ends and most important thing the track Of lebanese Forces is established by our 15,000 martyrs and by Bachir gemayel so no way Lebanese can lose the track as long as Samir Geagea is alive .We all know how much he was tortured and how much he suffered . Regarding extremists this is not a new problem , it is a problem everywhere in europe, australia ,canada ,USA , its worldwide problem and not only in Lebanon. We all know what happened in USA and last week in Hethrew airport and in Canada and in Australia. Our Only solution is to pray for peace as we suffered a lot as Christian Lebanese since Lebanon was created till now.
