Gaza 2008-Lebanon 2006
Posted by N10452Few days or weeks from now, after destroying all of Gaza, some Hamas member comes out of his rat hole pretends Hamas resisted and life goes on.
Did Israel win ? Of course yes.
Did Hamas win ? Of course yes, it beat its own people and caused their death.

After the largest defeats in history, arabs always still manage to claim victory.
You can’t help but admire this belief that Arabs have of always seeing the glass half-full
I guess they have given up on defeating Israel, so they’ve lowered their standards and will call any minor achievement a victory.

Speaking about the Aounists creativity; i just receive an e-mail from Aoun’s daughter saying:
Happy Tagh Year!
It took me 10 seconds to understand what TAGH meant then it hit me:
Taghyear as changes.
Not bad hé?!
I still have to reply back to her in a courteous way!
Btw , Patience is on my list of 2009 resolutions…

MICHELE,
AOUN’s daughter is like her father: because TAGH is the root of “TAGHY” which means DICTATORSHIP…”so like father, like son… or son-in-law…the perfect IM-Bassil…”.

What pisses me really off is that Hizbulla think they are more free or love freedom more than we do and that they sacrificed more than the rest of us.
They think we have a cause and they don’t, they think they are freedom fighters and we are cowards and they think we have to thank them for all they have done so far.
And then you get Ja3far sending poems like this one to preach us on freedom and dignity and pride.
Get a life man, really get a life and keep your poems to your bunker and to the day you celebrate a new 3ashoura on the soul of Nasrallah and they lying cowards like him and Najad and Bashar.
And Aoun…

At the end of each year before i write my list of the new resolutions for the coming year, i always look back to the achievements i made, the great friends i earned, the appreciation n luv i got, the tears n sorrows i felt, the hopes n promises i lost, the time i forgot to say “i love u” to the dearest ones n accordingly, i write my new resolutions…
For the year 2009, i only want to be happy n make the people that i love happy as well!!!
( and of course, to lose the few extra kilos that i gained during the holidays)
Wishing u all a Happy & Prosperous New Year!
PS: One of my best achievment for 2008, was winning the Ouwet.com Oscar! My mom was so proud!

I just finished reading some newspapers around the world (arabic, european, american) and I will summarize the main idea: 1) Hamas has – some years ago – won the elections in Gaza; 2) Hamas refused to find a modus vivendi with Al-Fatah; 3) Hamas kicked out Al-Fatah from Gaza; 4) Hamas tried to rule Gaza by itself – unseccesfully; 5) Hamas fired missiles on Israel and Israel retaliated, and so Hamas decided by itself to stop firing missiles on Israel, then Hamas – a few days ago -decided by itself to resume firing missiles; 6) Hamas made the decision to go to war against Israel; therefore 7) the actual war is the result of a free and wilfull decision; and consequently
the war will decide of the future outcomes.
My personal question is: what would have happened if instead of the “Bunduqiah” Hamas would have chosen the path of political (and peaceful) discussions and negotiations????
I know part of the answer:”By chosing peace, Hamas would have lost its credibility; therefore lets go to war, to destructions, sufferings and HELL only to keep a face-saving image”.
Shall I tell you what I am thinking of????
Political leaders who advocate for war ARE CRIMINALS whoever they are (Israelis, Palestinians, Lebanese, or Zimbabweians).
