This is a very old caricature by Pierre Sadek from the civil war time about Ain el Remmaneh.

It is quite amazing how this city held against so many attacks, it was like everyone wanted it destroyed at any price !

We have given more than 400 shaheed in Remmaneh and the whole armies of Arfat and Hafiz, along with their mercenaries from Somal, Libya and Iraq were not able to move an inch into our humble streets and zawarib.
As a child that grew on the streets of Remmaneh, I can remember many fist and stone throwing fights with visiting hooligans from Chiah as far back as 1969.The April 13,75 incident was major but definately was not the first.

Guys I just read this in Al Syassah (Kuwaiti newspaper):

It is starting to clear up
