Obama Assassination Attempt

(CNN) — Federal prosecutors charged two men with plotting a “killing spree” against African-Americans that would have been capped with an attempt to kill Sen. Barack Obama while they wore white tuxedos, federal officials said Monday.

Both men have been charged with illegal possession of a sawed-off shotgun, conspiracy to rob a federally licensed gun dealer and making threats against a presidential candidate.

According to an affidavit from the federal agent who questioned them, Cowart and Schlesselman planned to charge at Obama with a car, firing from the windows as they went. They would be dressed in white tuxedos and top hats during the attempt, the affidavit states.

 

Well I think that no matter who becomes president of the U.S. this year, they’re going to die in office; if McCain is elected he’s going to die of old age, and if Obama wins, he’ll be assassinated by the KKK :) .

    kennedy wasn’t assassinated for being catholic. he was assassinated because when you’re the president, there’s always a few psychos out there who want to kill you… and, at that point in time in the history of america, the secret service didn’t think it was a security risk for the president to drive slowly in a convertible past a bunch of tall buildings.

    it was either stupidity or naivite. take your pick.

    Patrick,

    It was neither stupidity nor naivity, It was a well planned assassination by the CIA or another organization, and some facts disclosed lately showed that.

    I don’t think anyone still believe now that Lee Harvey Oswald is the one who killed Kennedy, since new studies showed first that the bullit did not came from the building where Oswald was supposed to be, but it came form behind the gathering on his right.
    Also there are some questions about the role of Jack Ruby, and if he really was a big fan of Kennedy and decided to revenge by killing Oswald, or he was an agent sent to finish the job and close the case.

    As for considering Obama as similar to Kennedy, well I agree somehow with Jim, and I even mentioned that in my comment on the previous post, but it’s not because he’s the same character, but only becauae he’s different.

    the man was sitting in the back of a convertible going 35 mph around some tall buildings and the vehicle’s path was publicized in advance. yes.

    I think all the conspiracy theories about JFK aren’t true, and they ave been proven false. Oswald was a psycho and it’s been proven that he shot Kennedy.
