Thank You GMA
Posted by MickelWe all watched in awe yesterday as General Michel Aoun stepped off a Syrian plane in Damascus Airport and was greeted by Syrian dictator Bachar Assad.
All the Aounis on this blog have been reluctantly defending this visit, claiming that we’re jealous or all that we’re concerned with is Aoun or that the General is making us mad and frustrated with this ’successful’ visit.
However, the LF couldn’t be happier about this visit. Aoun just won us thousands of votes in the upcoming election. We didn’t have to campaign or make speeches or anything. He did the work and we get the votes.
In the 2005 election Aoun swept the board, running on a platform of reform and objecting to Hezbollah being armed. In 2006, he lost many supporters when he signed the MOU with Hezbollah. He lost even more votes when he stood by the Hizb during and after their costly war against Israel. After that, he lost a large chunk of his supporters when the opposition paralyzed the country for almost two years. Many stood by him through all that, defending him and hoping that there is still hope. But this visit was the last straw. Their General –who fought countless wars against Syria and criticised its regime for so long– was now demanding that the Lebanese people apologize to Syria.
So thank you Mon General for guaranteeing our victory in the election, and please keep up these crazy antics.

To me it makes no difference. Good for him. It just shows that he is a man of no principles! As for the szchitzo multiple personality postings here from the coolaid crowd; Good for you too. You deserve what you get. If your triumph and claim to fame is being “crowned” by bashar then GOOD FOR YOU…Now can we move on to building a country away from this stupid maneuvers?

One more thing…I remember March 8 and the HA wanted early elections…I say let’s get it over with in January whenever the logistics can be set up! Why wait. The winner SHOULD rule the country. None of this ‘unity govenment” crap.
If March 8 wins, they get to rule! If M14 wins they rule!KHALAS…We have had enough of this bullshit! Look at the “unity gov’t” now…claoun keeps on attacking the government he is in…I’d say let the winner RULE!!!

What is worse about this…..is that with his visit to Syria and Iran and the fact that GMA has become a Syrian puppet according to your propaganda (akid fasharto) but lets agree for your sake…….FPM will still clean you out in the upcoming elections.

Unfortunately my friend, Aoun will not lose any votes, in fact i bet you he will gain more and more o them. Our Christian society is passing through some unsurpassed, never witnessed before, mass ignorance and stupidity. It’s so obvious, you can see it all around; everyone you talk to, everyone you see. All shortsighted..
Some say he is a mad man, i say he is a genius but its just the stupid (unfortunately) Christian people who follow up on his every move that keeps him going on and on and on and on…

GMA did the right move as politician. Do not forget that he got supporters, who are totally agreed with GMA strategy.
Now, compared this to what you up to as LF. The LF politicians on one side, and you as LF supporter is on the other side.
Can you tell me the difference between LF and Syrian government?
You described Dr. BA as a dictator, you better to Dr. SG before, many bloggers on this blog stand against him these days.

Mickel,
Good post, I hope your expectations are right.
and I want to say is that I don’t care where the votes he’s losing will go to, whether LF, Kataeb, or any other M14 components or maybe someone with M14 spirit.
11. Mickel | December 5th, 2008 at 6:00 pm
LM why are you comparing the LF to the Syrian regime?
It’s true that the LF isn’t a democratic party –I whish it was– but neither is any party in Lebanon, including the FPM which is expected to be handed to Aoun’s son-in-law.
12. M | December 6th, 2008 at 3:15 am
expected?!!!
why do u always assume future things? why do u walwas talk about what aoun WILL DO? looks like u are michell hayek !!
u can critisise aoun as much as u can … but it will not change anything written. u are the past and he is the future.
if i was u would pray that the next elections day won’t come because u will lose big time my poor ewet friends.
yalla za7tou.

M / LM
If you noticed FPM is far from a democratic movement! When is the last time you had an enternal party election? HOw come most of the people in the FPM who have a leadership position are related to Aoun?
15. KEY | December 11th, 2008 at 10:30 am
For all FPM , ye3ne i dont know why you waist your time by commenting or replying on such bulshits, the lebanese quote “el maktoob bi bayyen men 3enweno” became with LF “el maktoob bi bayen men niheyto” coz Mickael said at the end of his post “”Their General –who fought countless wars against Syria and criticised its regime for so long– was now demanding that the Lebanese people apologize to Syria.”" !!
Mr. Mickael watch again what General Aoun said and come back to us ! akid hay2tak bte7dar ktir Future TV, and this is your problem guys, bte7ko whatever chou btesma3o, di3ankon chabeb.
ana fetet 3a your ouwet websites coz i’ve benn told enno mni7 li fi General Aoun ta 7ata ykoun fi elkon websites coz kel 7adiskon 3anno ! and the funny ironic thing is enno true ! terkin alla w 3ebdin Aoun ! get a life ba2a
