They control Christian towns in the South, they set up bases in Sannine, they have ’security blocks’ all over the place…  And now they are taking control of the heart of Christian Mount Lebanon!

The LBC had to get permission to film in JBEIL!!  Are you kidding me!?  We need permission to film in Jbeil?  I, for the life of me, cannot understand what Jbeil has to do with “resisting” Israel or why Hezbollah is permitted to have bases there.

A court clearly decided that the church belongs to the Church, yet Hezbollah still won’t give it up.  It appears that Hezbollah wants to turn over the key of the church to Aoun in a public ceremony of some kind to give him credit and show him as returning to the christians their rights.

Well maybe that prick Aoun and his Hezbollah friends should know that the key can –and will– only be returned to the Church.

If we as Christians don’t draw the line at this incident and say enough is enough, then who knows what’s next.  If Hezbollah doesn’t volontarily give back the Chruch, the we should take matters into our own hands.   Because if we don’t, we might as well abandon this land for good.

    Well said.

HA’s resistance is just a big fat lie…
They are scared to death from Sunnis…they are trying to bring the Druze(by intimidating Jumblatt) and the Christians to their side so they control all Lebanon and Coerce their sunni opponents…They are trying everything they can to portray Aoun as the Saviour of the Christians…Basically they are subduing us to their Zumma rule…..thinking we are cowards…they are emphasizing the Sunni fundamentalists as the Ultimate threat to Christians so we break our alliance with Hariri and turn the Christian public opinion against 14th March making them look as the supporters of terrorists…..all lies…
Anyway, it is time for Christians to seek foreign alliances or as you said…better leave for good…
    Cheers

Hizballah returned the key and the issue is not new. It is a hundred year old conflict in the town. Hizballah gave teh key to aoun and aoun gave it to bishop Andari.
It sees Fares Soueid need to attract some media to his direction.

Take the matter into our hands (per your) .

I hope you’re not talking about armed actions in here , are you?

In case you are, lemme remind you of something painfull ya mickel…

The civil war estimated the following :

    150,000 ppl were killed .

    100,000 permanently handicapped .

1/4 of the lebanese ppl were displaced from their homes.

No need to think that way mickel, just look at the past , it tells it all…

There are the “haves and the have nots.” We the lebanese ppl cant change that and the DAw7a agreement prove my words. We no longer control our decisions and you will not be able to TAKE THE MATTER INTO YOUR HAND.

Best wishes mickel , You made it the long way ;) remember 7IZEB SIYESSEH LAST YR? I am sure you now know the difference.

  • 9. Fuziyad | September 16th, 2008 at 10:48 am

Doc 1559, are you saying you are against civil war??

I am getting confused, weren’t you a HA supporter?? didn’t these guys start a civil war few month ago?? don’t you think the church story is a provocation and can be very dangerous for the 3ayach el mouchtarak?? why did ghaleb abou zeinab have the keys??

Fed up with you hizzie fans pretending to be “moderates” and peace loving boys while your beloved milicia has launched a war against all the non-shia lebanese(and all the non-breaded shiias)

Can someone offer the book : “JUZUUR AL MASSI7IYAT FI LUBNAN” by ANTOINE KHURY 7ARB to both HA and AOUN so they can - once and for all - realize who on earth constructed this country !!!!!

  • 11. Rodge | September 16th, 2008 at 11:05 am

    Mickel,

    You spoke my mind bro,
what is happening is dangerous, so dangerous, the Hizb is controlling everything, and maybe in the future we will have to get our offcicial papers from their institutions.

  • 12. sam | September 16th, 2008 at 11:25 am

guys guys … you are looking for the 5% empty side of the glass and making an issue of it…

the time scale of this conflict is back to around a hundred year.. long time before the HA existed… do you think the people of the village do care if a court decided the area is a church or a musque… do you really know or understand the sensitivity of lebanon? you do amaze me sometimes… seriously… the people who have houses in jabal can just go and claim their houses , true? ( and sorry it is not taken by HA)

unfortunately, in lebanon such conflicts cant be solved in any way but moussalah… and HA and oun were the parties to make it happen after so long time… you hate that fact … to bad far you … :)

one final thing for those who are calling for war…yeslam timak doc…
i thank god every day you people dont have little of the HA capabilities… you would have had burned the country ..

    regards

  • 13. Michele | September 16th, 2008 at 11:36 am

    Hmmmm Sammy boy!!!

May i remind u who burnt the country in July 2006????

  • 14. Tony | September 16th, 2008 at 11:47 am

OH sam hizbollah gave the key to aoun lets forget about it?

Well i dont forget the fact hizbollah tried to bring it down by puting 2 grenades inside the church or by throwing hte bibles and crosses and putin instead a carpet and a qur2an so i guess we should forget about that cz hizbollah gave the key to aoun right?

  • 15. sam | September 16th, 2008 at 11:59 am

tony … HA were moderators to solve the issue… the issue is solved and that is a fact… hallae you want to talk about media and propaganda.. the other side ma kassar abadan… no?

the HA put two grenades and threw the bibles and crosses… these are rumors.. you cannot say it as a fact that it was HA who did it.. I come from the school of HA .. we do respect other religions .. we do believe in the same god… trust HA will not do such a thing…

then it is up to you to believe what you think it is true…

    best regards

Well, there those who accept defeat and the Iranian occupation because of fear of destruction and there are those who are willing to pay the real price of freedom which is blood. When will you guys realize that freedom has to be paid in blood and in heavy amounts of it? Until we are ready to pay the price of freedom we can’t have it.

  • 18. Fuziyad | September 16th, 2008 at 12:33 pm

Sam ya Sam, if the story had nothing to do with HA, why did ghaleb abou zeinab have the keys??

and just as ali, stop playing the peace loving guys, HA is behind all the trouble happening in lebanon…may be you can deny that they are the ones who have been assasinating lebanese politicians, arming all sort of thugs, throwing bombs in the streets every now and then(eventough am sure you’re clever enough to know that HA is behind it) but can you deny that on 7th may HA went down to the streets block the roads and then invaded beirut in a way that showed how well the plan was prepared?? can you deny that on 12july 2006 HA kidnapped 2 israeli soldiers in the middle of an israeli war on gaza to recuperate 1 kidnapped soldier, KNOWING WELL that this would trigger a war on lebanon???

well ya sam, use your brain a bit, the party that triggered 2 wars in lebanon in last years can only be the same one regularly committing other acts of war…same intention…

  • 19. Rodge | September 16th, 2008 at 12:35 pm

    sam,

The issue of Lassa Church represents the situation in the whole country being dominated slowly but surely by el Hizb.
It is not about a case or a conflict in a small town, it’s about how Hizb is dealing with others, and how it is controlling everything and forcing itslef as the Godfather with his aoun the server everytime.
The 5% empty side of the galss you talked about is not really like that, since the situation is coveing now more than 50% of the whole country.
It’s about Hizb dominating the Sannine highest mountains.
It’s about Hizb forbidding the land owners in the highest Jezzine villages to visit and invest their lands.
It’s about them shooting and killing LA officers simply becuse they had the guts to fly over their area in Sujud.
It’s about them creating large scale security zones in Dahyeh, Beirut, South, Mountain, and Bekaa etc…
It’s about them burning the whole country to free a prisoner who should have been executed in a fair trial.
It’s about them burning the whole country because the Government took a decision or two they didn’t like.

    Sam ya sadiki,

    It’a bout a country not a glass.
    You got it?

  • 20. sam | September 16th, 2008 at 12:47 pm

khaye Rodge.. i really wish the rumours of HA having these high tech missiles in sanine to be true.. but sadly ( for me ) they are not ..

Any way, the situation in lebanon is not as simple as you have descibed it .. either balck or white.. it is not either bas HA or the perfect ex. government.. and you know that…

the whole political infra structure in lebanon is a trash.. is that a thing we both agree onor not

i mean you dont trust HA, i dont trust the other group .. you have your reasons that i respect.. And i have my reasons… if you dont know them i can count few…

so the solution is for these politicians to stop charging us against each other and to try to sit togather and make a country…
the question is do they want that? you may say HA dont want.. i will say the other lords dont want..
the difference is that i do believe in nassrallah … do you believe in the capabilities of your leaders?

    best regards

  • 21. sam | September 16th, 2008 at 12:57 pm

sadike Fuziad… if it was something critical it will be safa who would have the key :) HA used his influence on the people to solve the matter.. Abu zeinab took the key to give it a oun.. of course with some media marketing.. this is the size of the story …is it that dificult?

You may accuse HA for the 2006 war, the israeli say they have been planning for it.. we can discuss the matter..

however, the 7 may thing is not a war my friend.. if HA didnt plan for it properly , i do agree a civil war would have had occured.. but wether you admit it or not.. the little action of 7 may have saved the country and have put it back on track .. it have proven to a party that they cannot control the country just by themselves…as they have been doing for two years…

LEBANON CANNOT SURVIVE WITH ELIMINATING ONE PARTY … christians have been eliminated in the 90s … that is why the country couldnt have been build..

now the HA is responsible for all the evil actions in lebanon … give me a brake…that is funny :)

  • 22. danny | September 16th, 2008 at 1:50 pm

    Sam,

This will be the last time I’ll comment on your juvenile and incomprehensive remarks…

STOP APOLOGIZING!! STOP defending your HA’s and allies murderous actions. STOP blaming the victim! STOP raping the country and blaming the raped victim.
No one here is your friend! You are nothing but a mass killer and a mukhabarati agent!

    Let’s see:

a:…” HA used his influence on the people to solve the matter.. Abu zeinab took the key to give it a oun…”

hmmm. Who the hell do you think the HA is now? Are not there supposed to be laws? Why “GIVE” it to clAoun…Oh I forgot you guys recognize him as the new batrak!

b: “…however, the 7 may thing is not a war my friend.. if HA didnt plan for it properly , i do agree a civil war would have had occured..”

What a crock of SHIT! Many thanks for your murderous thugs for saving us from ourselves! Where do we send the thank you cards and sweets…Again see “a”…

c.”… now the HA is responsible for all the evil actions in lebanon … give me a brake…that is funny”

Does it seem funny to you that our intellectual class and politicians have been assassinated systematically from the time of inception of the HA till now?
Oh I forgot you were accusing the March 14 of killing itself off to win elections or create “havoc”…
Or March 14 were the allies of the JOOS…Right? The Khuwana?? But of course you slime bags accused Israel of the assassinations in Lebanon…
Wow…now they are killing their allies!

Sam the only thing I can suggest to the readers of this blog is to IGNORE you. I am certain you are nothing but a loiterer! Mukhabarati prick!

GET LOST AND STOP INSULTING OUR INTELLIGENCE.

    Peace out!

  • 23. Rodge | September 16th, 2008 at 1:56 pm

    Sam,

First of all you only answered about Sannine, which you have considered as rumors, eventhough the other things i mentioned include many proven issues and facts.
this is what bothers me with you people, you only take what you want and reply to.
Anyway, u’re right that we need to discuss all the Lebanese political system, but speaking about the abilities of the leaders, you should include Hassan Nasrallah with them, and don’t think that he’s able to do anything. Nasrallah, despite all the looks, is no more than a follower to a higher politics, and he acknowldged that himself being a member in the Al Fakih army.
So you should recognize that in Lebanon everyone has his part and his time, in the 80s the LF were so powerful, before them the Palestinians in Lebanon, and then the Hizb now.
In conclusion, the strong is the one who owns the weapons, and that’s why the US, and despite many failures and wrong politics, are still ruling the world.

  • 24. Rima | September 16th, 2008 at 2:08 pm

    Danny…Excellent…I like your post #21..

  • 25. sam | September 16th, 2008 at 2:46 pm

rodge..i think many of the one you said were rumors .. you think they are true…

the issue is lot of hatter and lies and propaganda have been injected in our system for the last 3 years… to gain additional power by these lords…. from both parties..

the sad thing is that lot of these believes from both parties are based on rumors.. now the “”great leaders”" were sitting around the table ..

  • 26. Delta | September 16th, 2008 at 4:15 pm

    DOC I HAVE A QUESTION

so or mnekol il micheyeh or civil war ?????dont u think they should be something in the middle as simple as that: this is christian areas and what is hizbullah doing there? who brought them up there did you ask you self ?

  • 27. Delta | September 16th, 2008 at 4:17 pm

To Sam let me agree with you just to agree , so if it is a propaganda just go ahead and give us our church back since we are big assholes and we are using it for electory reasons

  • 28. Rodge | September 16th, 2008 at 5:58 pm

    Sam,

    You’re really amazing,

You think many of the one I’ve said were rumors???

so killing Samer Hanna was a rumour????
July war launched after the Hizb operation to free the prisoners was a rumor?????
7 May war which came as a result for the government decisions was a rumor????
I don’t knowwhich logic u’re adopting, but I recommend you to change it, or else the whole educational and cultural system we learned should be changed, i think it has proven wrong, we should follow ur logic, and this time I insist on saying it is a twisted logic.

  • 29. sam | September 16th, 2008 at 6:02 pm

  • 30. sam | September 16th, 2008 at 6:12 pm

    Rodger
you are insisting in going in details… ok..
it is true..they killed the officier .. but you said they killed him on purpose , i say they killed him by mistake,,,

you say the july war was launched because HIzb took the isreli sauldiers, i say it was an excuse the same way the israeli made an excuse in 82 about someone tried to shoot the israeli ambassador in london.. it was well planned in advance…

you said they burned the country because the government took a decision they didnt like, i say the government was taken the country to war when it asked the legal system to take to trial all the HA members who were involved in the communication network…

i understand your view.. but i believe that it is based on incomplete information… my logic is based on different information…

the problem is in the political lords who are using and injecting such type of information in our system…to push us back to our religious tribes…

    regards

  • 31. Rodge | September 16th, 2008 at 6:34 pm

    Sam,

    U’re not following any logic.
I’m not negotiating who is right or who is wrong, i’m talking about acts done by Hizb that led to troubles, and I think your hassouna himslef acknowledge that he didn’t know such an act will lead to a war, and later he contradicted himself.

Ur problem is that u’re a Shiite and Hizb gave you a lot, so obviously u will support them and I understand you, but we will not achieve anything here.
Finally, I recommend not to believe the thing you posted in Arabic, at least be descent to bring information from a neutral side.

  • 32. sam | September 16th, 2008 at 6:49 pm

roger .. am not neutral :) am giving you the other side of the story …

we dont need to agree on anything yet,,, but it is very important to be able to communicate and to try to understand the others point of view. ..

    with my best of regards

  • 33. fad14 | September 16th, 2008 at 7:35 pm

Hizbulla Rules the country, Good bye everyone ..

    Doc

When Hezbollah felt threatened, they attacked Beirut and Jabal.
And you’re telling me to sit here and not do anything about this?
People who live in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones ;)

Now you’re giving me all these numbers like I’ve never heard of them before. I –and every generation of Lebanese– knows first hand how horrible war is.

But when your Hezbollah thugs are threatningour existence, all those numbers go out the window.

I would rather live in the ugliest and mot dangerous place on Earht with my liberty and dignity intact, than to live in the most beautiful place on Earth with someone else telling me what to do and what to believe.

You know your comment reminds me of that LBC commercial: ya amen ya 3adele.
