hassan-nassralah-420

Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah struck a controversial note on Friday evening, calling last year’s May 7 events a “merry day” in the Resistance’s history.

At a graduation of Hezbollah students in Roueiss, Nasrallah said that “the May 7 events safeguarded Lebanon’s institutions, and forced all Lebanese parties to go back to the roundtable dialogue, which led to the election of President Michel Sleiman.”

“I tell the Lebanese, Sunnis and Shia in particular, that the May 7 events put an end to sedition in Beirut,” Nasrallah said. “The majority aims to create a rift between Sunni and Shia as an excuse for foreign troops to enter Lebanon to end civil war.”

“We do not want the Lebanese to forget the May 7 events,” Nasrallah continued, “Because we do not want the foolish decisions made by the cabinet on May 5 to be repeated. The main weapons used by the Resistance during the 2006 July War were Hezbollah’s network, which was attacked on May 5 by the cabinet’s decision. ”

Rest on NOW!

Merry May 7th everyone.  3a2bel kell sene.

    I remind those who are raising the May 7 events issue that they ought to remember what they did on the fifth of May that same year. It is enough to read the Winograd report to know that one of Hezbollah’s main assets that should be eliminated is the party’s communications network. Does anyone doubt that the Israelis are eavesdropping everything in Lebanon? The most efficient weapon during the 2006 war was the fortified communications network that was beyond eavesdropping. The government back then convened and decided to dismantle the network and consider it illegal and against the state’s sovereignty. The government also decided to bring to justice everyone involved in it. The then illegitimate government ought to realize that May 5, 2008 was a stigma on its face and its history because it sought to achieve what Israel had failed to achieve in 33 days of war. Why did they deploy thousands of fighters from outside Beirut? The Beirutis may as well ask those who want their votes to be in retaliation to the May 7 events, who turned Beirut into a city of militiamen and filled it with arms under the camouflage of security firms? Who deployed thousands of fighters in Beirut’s apartments? The scheme was that the government takes the decision, Hezbollah would call for protests and civil disobedience thus giving way for the government to seek other options: if the protests were banned then a confrontation between the resistance and the Lebanese army would ensue. The scheme was thwarted because we have a national patriotic army.

    Sayed Nassralah : We don’t want May 7 or May 17. We are calling for cooperation and partnership. To discard the past and to merge efforts, build our country hand in hand and pull it out of its different crises. Like I said before, we have close ranks to build Lebanon hand in hand and shoulder to shoulder.
    Whatever the results of the election will be, we will need all this cooperation and joined efforts to protect Lebanon and build it together.

    hehe good one Mickel, like Santa Claus for December 25 there is Sayyed Claus for May 7, in this picture he looks like the scary version of Santa.

    Nasrallah forgot his pills yesterday and he huffed and puffed and shook his finger, while the stupid Alain Aoun sat in the audience looking up at him like a school boy, Did anyone notice that everything Hezbollah do is holy and right, even when they kill you they are doing you a favor and you should thank them.

    To the March 8 voters I say enjoy the slogans of Nasrallah now because the next time he use Sila7 Al Moukawama to play with Israel you will have to bury half your family and sleep in a school until you rebuild your house with other people’s money. You should really be proud of yourselves for believing in this fairy tale called Sayyed Claus.

  • 4. ja3far | May 16th, 2009 at 10:01 am

    K… for fourty years our people have buried so many families while others were watching or collaborating, our refugees werent able to go back to rebuild their destroyed homes… things have changed, we didnt need to go begging anyone to make it happen; we are the ones who made it happen…
    and for that we are very proud … Anyone who want to make time go backward will pay for it… so it is better for them not to forget… kinet al sama zarea or sawda

    Ja3far I have to disagree with you my friend because if you (and Nasrallah) want others to learn from May 7, then you are forgetting the most simple lessons in history.

    You can not rule the country with your group’s arms, you can do it for a while but not for ever, you can not have a privilege over other groups (that’s what your group complained about and they were right but now you are doing the same thing). I have to go to lunch but there is a long list of lessons Nasrallah is forgetting and the only one who will pay for his mistakes in Lebanon and Egypt and other places are the Lebanese people and especially the Shi3a, please think about this and don’t make up your mind on one way only.

    K… i totaly agree with u, you cannot rule the country with you arms.. AND U CANNOT RULE THE COUNTRY BY YOURSELF …
    i am against taking the country with or without power.. same do nassrollah..
    And i am against dropping our arms without a replacement, and if any body try to take them by force he will pay for it .. simple equation to remember

    Ja3far and Doc and Nasrallah:

    You are so disgusting you make us feel happy to see Israel kicking your asses.

    You blame the others for your problems.
    You blame the world and America for your misery and depression for the past 1400 years.

    You are a bunch of losers, bunch of miserable losers who now got weapons and you are behaving with your weapons like a prost-itute who got a dil-do and now thinks she is a man.

    Guess what, when the weapons are gone “And they will” you are back to fill the employment sheets for Sukleen.

  • 21. Maximus | May 16th, 2009 at 2:49 pm

    Jaafar (16)
    Your have short memory or don’t know history
    1)- When lebanon was invaded by palestinians armes organizations with the complicity of some lebanese, the christians liberated a large part of their historic territories with arms. Thousands falled fighting. At that time, th eparents of prsent Hezbollah miltiaman were hiding in the South while alternatively dominated bu PLO and Israel;
    2)- You are misleading yourself when your believe that you have liberated the South. Ehud Barak decided to retreat and this was coordinated with Hezbollah, via German intelligence;
    Without syrian and iranien help you would not even exist. How do you talk abouth “doors of embassies”?;
    3- in 1982, the christians tried to call the Lebanese muslim to reunify, after israeli destroyed PLO. Bachir raised teh 10452 km slogan, but Iran and Syria were more persuasive to convince Muslim not to accept Christian hands. They killed Bachir and massacred christians;
    4)- we could have stayed in the free christian area, waiting for muslim to accept our call to unifiy freely, but syrians send us the traitor Aun t destroy teh christian zone and deliver it to them;
    5)- The mauslmi wake up came years later, in 2005. Sunnis, druz and Christian unified, they don’t need arms to make syrians retreat. They obtained it just by unifiyng;
    6)- Hezbollah didn’t want to join. Guided by his idelogy and superiority complex, he continued collaborating with syrians and iranians: assassination, political sabotage, intimidation, wars…and, again, used Aoun as a 5th column;
    7)- stop being obsessed by your arms and stop considering other lebanese as weak because they decided to renouce to arms between them. It is not weakness, it is maturity and force. Th eone who is moraly weak is th eone who is trying to use force to impose himself on the other Lebanese. Try to convince us without your arms. You will be more respected. You want to dominate by force. Go for it, you will reign for one or two years before Lebanese revolt. And Hezbollah and shiite community will pay a historic price, not by masssacre, but by moral disaster;

    what u are stating as facts are simply not; and bachir made a big mistake thinking that after a long civil war he can just come on an israeli tank and say to the others i am giving u a chance to unite under my presidency .. did not work and will never work,
    if we do the same mistake we will fail for sure , but trust me we wont.. days will prove

    By the way, if Nasralla respects Martyrs that much,why is he still hiding in a hole? it would me much respectful for him and his position and his people to behave and move freely instead of hiding. At least if he get killed he will be called a Martyr, and not the “hiding Leader”.

  • 38. Maximus | May 16th, 2009 at 4:54 pm

    Ya Jaafar (17)
    Yes, and “Nasrallah is making a big mistake thinking that after a long syrian occupation he can just come on an iranian tank and say to the others i am giving u a chance to unite under my authority .. If it didn’t work with Bachir it will not work with Nasrallah.

    Give up your arms to the army and integrate the political life equal to other Lebanese. You can not win over other lebanese with arms. Get it ya jaafar

  • 39. ja3far | May 16th, 2009 at 5:05 pm

    theresinia… how old are u dear ?:)sorry to disapoint u but what they told u about lebanon is a lie.. there was a civil war and major parts of lebanon were occupied before HA was established …
    now i will tell u something your leaders dont want you to know:
    lebanese always tend to blame there misery on other.. it is never there mistake.. your beloved leaders ( the ones you will deny in your next message) want you to believe that all your misery is because of HA, syria and iran.. if they disapear, lebanon will become your disney land and everyone will love the other .. the same way geagea love jumblat and harriri .. well sorry to disapoint u again, but those leaders and the lebanese mentality of meen ma akhad imi biseer 3ami are the source of your misery,, if HA isnt there they will find someone else to blame and to keep using you and steeling you till ethernity…

  • 40. ja3far | May 16th, 2009 at 5:14 pm

    ya maximus ya habibi ya 3ayni.. some lebanese have suffered from HA weapon for one day, we have suffered from the israeli weapons for 40 years.. unless there is a real thing to fill the gap we will not put down our arms with israel our neighbor..
    and trust me if all what HA want in lebanon is to grap power, he would have allied with the american and the israeli who have offered that so many times and would have taken control long time ago..

  • 41. THERESINIA | May 16th, 2009 at 5:21 pm

    Ja3far,
    You don’t understand because you are in your “box”! I do not want ANY politician who preaches WAR and HATRED….

    The best ones at the present moment are HA and Caporal AOUN! Agents of Syria and Iran. Anyone who gets money, weapons, and orders from abroad is an agent!

    I am 28 and I know the history of Lebanon perfectly well because I have studied it in Lebanon not in Iran…

  • 42. Ra'fat | May 16th, 2009 at 5:25 pm

    I just hope we don’t start killing each other again after the elections.

  • 43. THERESINIA | May 16th, 2009 at 5:27 pm

    HA has made one success. A great one: convincing AOUN to ally with him…He must have studied the psychology of the Caporal who wanted to become an AMBRATOR (“the Frog who wanted to become a beef”) and offered him this “vision”…
    The Caporal is capable of all things -including becoming a Syrian agent – in order to become PRESIDENT…
    Yes, indeed: HA has made a great success. The Caporal has become his KHADIM…

  • 44. ja3far | May 16th, 2009 at 5:28 pm

    theresinia.. 28 ? u sound much younger :)
    what pill are u taking to make u forget everything then ?
    history of lebanon didnt start and end in may 7 2008.. an event is properly read when viewed with its previous events and related results..
    at your age u should be mature enough to judge people and events from actions and not from slogans

  • 45. Che | May 16th, 2009 at 5:43 pm

    Every Christians must carry the cross of Lebanon, aim at uniting with the Jews and create a forever alliance with Israel with whom we share the plight of being minorities among werewolves whose beliefs are founded on bloodshed, a religion of lies, ignorance and backwardness–Nasralla’s speech is a case in point!

  • 46. Maximus | May 16th, 2009 at 5:56 pm

    Jaafar,
    First, 3ifné men “el habibi ya 3ayni” and try to debate politics bala arguilé style discussion

    You are saying: “some lebanese have suffered from HA weapon for one day, we have suffered from the israeli weapons for 40 years.. unless there is a real thing to fill the gap we will not put down our arms with israel our neighbor..”…

    Good, but:
    - We, mainly christians, have suffered from syrian occupation for 40 years and the only way to forbid that to happen again is to build a democratic country protected by a solid army which can not happen as long as there is armed militia like Hizbullah who, as PLO in the 1970, consider themselves above the state and the rule of law. YOUR FEAR OF ISRAEL OCCUPATION IS EQUAL TO OUR FEAR OF SYRIAN OCCUPATION. THE PROBLEM IS THAT YOU ARE TRYING TO IMPOSE ON US, WITH YOUR ARMS, YOUR PERONAL VIEWS OF THE SOLUTION TO YOUR PERSONAL FEARS WITHOUT TAKING IN ACCOUNT OUR FEARS. THOS WILL NOT LEAD TO A SOLUTION.

    -The solution to your fears of Israel and our fears of Syria and Iran is a democratic state with a central army only obeing to a government issued from a freely elected parlement.

    - As long as you refuse to disarm to contribute to this solution, we stay convinced that your arms serve your hegemonic ambitions on other lebanese bases on your religious ideology and not protecting you from Israel.

  • 47. THERESINIA | May 16th, 2009 at 6:23 pm

    Do you think the bad guys will stop what they are doing because they think we are good people? or the contrary????

  • 48. ja3far | May 16th, 2009 at 6:35 pm

    lah lah ya Maximus… cool down man, dont get too intimidated by few friendly words that are intended to put some friendly atmosphere on the discussion.. trust me they are much better then calling you words like dog and prostitute, and many other words that are used by some geniuses in the above posts.. still if you consider my logic an arguili style one dont waste your time and move on..

    having said that, the israeli , the syrian, and any other is a threat to all lebanese not just to a sect , because there is no country when divided.. you are saying we dont want a strong country, or army, i say this is not true, we are asking for a strong army. however, there is veto on giving the lebanese army real defening weapons…
    i am with having a strong defence strategy that will make everyone feel secure and protected..

    but u cannot ask me to drop the weapon if there is no replacement,, and there is no replacement at the moment…

    so be logical for a second, in year 2006 a war happened that was intended to throw us in the sea and to make a demographic change in lebanon and ” a new middle east” we were able to stand still and survive agaisnt all type of weapons including 250 thousands tank missile and 10 thousands plane attack… the vinograde community was made for the israeli to learn the lesson to succeed in there next war.. the vinograde report says the first thing to do is to remove the communication network of the resistance as it is there most strategic weapon.. then we have people in lebanon who want to remove this network just few month after this report without giving us any replacement against the israeli threat .. what do you want us to do?

  • 49. ja3far | May 16th, 2009 at 6:42 pm

    theresinia .. for god sake leave your emotions aside for once and think..
    today mokhabarat al jeesh captured in sa3ed nayel a very dangerous israeli spy : al 7omssi… this man had a major role in starting the beqaa combats last year between neighbor villages and in making secterian war …
    how much are the others in love with us and in our ” give peace a chance”?

  • 50. Maximus | May 16th, 2009 at 6:57 pm

    Address those who insult you with arguilé style if you want, but do not do it with me.

    Jaafar, there is a lot of contradiction in you logic:

    - if there is a “veto on giving the lebanese army real defening weapons…” as you say, and you really want a strong army to defend you and us, why don’t you give your arms to the army?

    - you are saying that we cannot ask you to drop the weapon if there is no replacement,, and there is no replacement at the moment…”. The problem is that as long as HA exists military, ther will be no state of law and therfore no “replacement”;

    - You ask me to be logical and pretend that n 2006 Israel wanted to throw you in the sea?
    YOu attacked Israel behind the frontier and kidnapped it soldiers. In every international code this is called a declaration of war. Israel replied disproportionaly by bombing each inch of Lebanon.
    So? What? Are you blaming israel? What else? You want Israel to reply proprotionaly to what arrange you? Nasralah himself said; “If we knew”. How do you want lebanese ti trust you?
    Will a central army of a democratic state attack another state to kidnpa soldiers? No. HA did it and all lebanse paid the price. Thats why we don’t trust you and we want you to give up your arms to the army which only obey to the government that we choose threw free elections. Removing the communication network do not serve Israel as you believe but serve the edification of a sovereign lebanese state. And a sovereign state is the only garantee to our freedom and dignity, and YOURS.
    Jaafar, stop thinking as you are alone and others lebanese must follow your needs, fears, ambitions and culture. Accept to think collectively as maronites, sunnis and druzes are learning to do.

  • 51. maverick | May 16th, 2009 at 7:13 pm

    Ja3far, do you really think Isreals intention is to drive us out to sea? or some other grand conspiracy? It would very immature on your part if you do believe in that. All of their attacks throughout history has been directed towards a threat ie PLO,HA,etc
    Remove the threat, then there will be no justification for attack. Everybody knows that.
    M8 mouthpieces accuse the majority of using the HA weapons as the major obstacle in building a lebanese state, the same way HA supporters justify the need to hold on to them to defend Lebanon against the enemy as you have said above.
    whether you agree or not, these weapons have caused more damage physically,mentally ,pychologically,economically and every other facet of life.
    So lets do away with the sanctity of the weapons and the almighty aura of HA and Nasrallah because it has become a belligerent machine drunk on power.

  • 52. ja3far | May 16th, 2009 at 7:28 pm

    maximus.. i can communicate the way i want, it is up to you to read what you want and disregard what you want.. if you get intimidated with friendly words , too bad for you ,, go seek help..

    iran offered to give the army military weapons after the 2006 war including advanced anti aircaft weapons and the lebanese government refused under american pressure; or for the same reason the army didnt thank and covered the fact that the syrians helped during the naher al bered war…

    kidnapping two soldiers is not an act of war ; it is a conflict on the borders.. it wasnt the first since the israeli withdrawil in year 2000.. and for your information israel have killed many lebanese farmers between year 2000 and year 2005 and no body of you considered it an act of war..
    ba3deen go reread the interview with nassrallah were he said this phrase.. your leaders took it from its content and used it in there propaganda against HA; so it is funny to use it against me.. go read the interview 3ayni…

    try to understand ya sa7bi.. i dont trust the people who were ruling lebanon.. simple.. and you dont trust us it is clear.. both parties have empty trust accounts.. a wise leader try to work slowly in rebuilding trust .. that should have been the first step after the war in year 2006.. not to try to take the country by yourself when i dont trust u.. even if i have concerns about the minimal issues.. how about something like international tribe?

    those crasy leaders, that we dont trust in any way , took a confrontation decision instead of building trust and we should all be thankful it ended that way…

    now we have to sit together and try to walk step by step even if very slowly..

    u people want to become sweden in one day and we still dont have a country …

  • 53. ja3far | May 16th, 2009 at 7:33 pm

    maverick.. israel intention was to throw the shia community and anybody who support HA to the sea..making them a good example to anyone who think about resisting in the futre…

    one of the targets of the war was to make a demographic change in the borders with israel, the new middle east included changing the maps of countries like lebanon and syria , redividing them on religious bases.. something WJ saw and tried to save his community during such a hard change…

    All these comments make no sense at all. Fact is you have a group of thugs led by a maniac (yes MANIAK) called hassan nasrallah (he does not deserve cap letters) who, acting under orders from Iran has decided to “kidnap” the Lebanese decision making process. He does not need to be in power. All he needs is “le tiers de blocage”…….poor Lebanon

  • 55. Maximus | May 16th, 2009 at 8:14 pm

    Jaafar
    You were adressing me by my name, so your are not communicating but discussing.
    Maybe in talking about “narguilé style” you felt attacked because narguilé is a matter of culture for you. I understand. For me it is a symbol of apathy and passivness of oriental culture. It is not part of our christian culture anyway. What you called friendly words, i call it familiarity. The problem is in your culture: insulting or familiarity. Did you ever tried to just be correct and discuss politics?

    Quaestion: Do you think Israel prefer to see Lebanon as a democratic, multireligious and propserous country which will be the opposite of what it represents or will it try to tavoid this perspective by fortifying indirectly an organization like Hezbollah that will never represent a real threat to the existence of Israël but will make impossible the ermergence of a democratic Lebanon?

  • 56. ja3far | May 16th, 2009 at 8:32 pm

    you are funny Maximus… am not indian to have culture attachment with narguila , and i dont have psychological problems with my oriental root whether my grand parents were muslims or christians as christians were in the orient before muslims.. you do…
    but it lacks the minimal of manners to communicate, or debate , with someone and then ask him to use your communication technics, style and language… you know you are talking to a lebanese man, these words and language are in our tradition and culture, you are not the one to impose on me whether i should use them or not.. ok habibi?

    now back to your question.. no israel dont want lebanon to exist whether democratly or not democratly.. actually they dont want any sign of strnegth in lebanon that is why they wanted to destroy us then to take us to a civil war ..
    now whether HA represent a threat to israel, i dont think so in the short term.. but it is the ideology of resistance by itself ( and i dont mean islamic but any type of resistance) in the countries that surround Israel and the people under the occupation of israel that present a threat to israel that is why israel want to eleminate such resistance

  • 60. maverick | May 16th, 2009 at 10:08 pm

    Jaafar, using your exact logic, not only Isreal stands to lose with a democratic-modern-multiconfessional state as a nieghbour, but the Assad regime stands to lose their existing status quo…hence the assasinations of all those who challenged the regime or became powerful forces of change. ie Kamal J, Bachir G, Rafik H, etc.
    They are determined to keep Lebanon in check.
    Half the country would not have had a problem with HA as it stands today, if it were equal and just in its dealings. You want to protect Lebanon, how about our sisterly nieghbour….but this is not part of the HA contract, niether is defending Lebanon. I really feel sorry for the destiny of the Southern Lebanese, who got rid of an occupying force only to be replaced with another one. “Libayka Nasrallah”

    maverick.. syria was never happy with lebanon as an independant country.. no body deny that.. syria had always used the groups in lebanon for its benefit, limiting there resources and pushing them against each others..
    However, the syrian have learned after the 2006 war that they are more benefitial with a strong ally in lebanon then with week parties there .. if lebanon lost the war in 2006 , there wouldnt have been any syrian regime now…

    Maximus.. when did i ask u to respect me and my ideology? you are funny dude ( haydi dude micheen tinibset ) …

    7abibi, it is a hobby for me to write here or on other blogs… and to see how other lebanese think … lot of times i write things that irritate so many here .. look at the above comments.. you think i am looking for your approval .. ya 7aram…

    if you are smart enough you will try to learn how the other lebanese think because diversity in lebanon exist whether you like it or not.. sadly, for u, you are as narrow minded as many others here.. even if you pretend to be more respectful by choosing your words more carefully ,but at the end you get irritated so easily, and the real you shows when you get irritated..

    you want to close yourself in a box do it, i dont care, you want to try to communicate and learn from me or from other around good for you.. there is always little to learn even from
    a narrow minded person like u..

    my advice for u is to remember that at the end of the day, what make lebanon is its diversity in culture and religion.. you like it stay, you dont allah ma3ak … ok dude, habibi, 3ayni, broth, cheri, istez, rayess, monsieur.. mitel ma badak.. bas ha7 waldani

    Ja3far (ya3tik al 3fiye)

    Why waste your time? You know victory is yours and mine.They can yell and scream all they want haboub. The fact remains that HA’s weapons are authorized and approved by our government ( bayanet wizariye are also approved by them) and no need to remind them anymore !!

    Also, haboub do me a favor and always remind these guys of Samir geagea .. make sure you explain to them how he struck the deal with the syrians and with their puppy government in order to eleminate GMA’s infleunce in the Christian areas. Tell them that Geagea’s aim was to become the sole Christian leader after removing GMA since gemayel already was in an exile that samir geagea himself forced him into. HAYDE FOR COLLABORATING WITH THEIR SYRIAN ENEMY !! Shame on them..

    As for the Israeli enemy, we all know what SG is all about and no need to go that way. You know we have some young ladies around here and it is not nice to offend them…

    That’s all for now .
