Here were the LF and its leader stand, second class behind Hariri, Jumblatt and even Nayla Mouawad.

Am honestly not convinced elio ..

I would say Hakim always likes to stand behind, even during Bashir masses .. but why coming late everytime ??

  • 3. johnny | September 22nd, 2007 at 5:03 pm

Does that mean that Nayyoul is our next president? :)

  • 4. Mano | September 22nd, 2007 at 5:05 pm

In funerals like this one, seats are reserved. Second class as it seems. And if Nayyoul our next president, I will drop my Lbeanese nationality. Our martyrs didn’t die to have her a president.

  • 5. bachir-7ay-fina | September 22nd, 2007 at 5:21 pm

    N u r right.

  • 6. Horraseljabal | September 22nd, 2007 at 5:26 pm

ya sahbe ur so naive ..1st class seats where reserved to the families of the martyrs.. the son of kamal jonblat, the son of rafic hariri, the wife of Renne m3awad…….so smart bass. GET THE LARGER PICTURE AND LOOK AT THE PEOPLE SITING IN THE FRONT

  • 7. manolito | September 22nd, 2007 at 6:14 pm

    Horraseljabal,

Naive I might be but how about over 15 thousand martyrs? Those these days are nobody? The LF is the father, the son, the daughter, the mother and brother of over 15 thousand martyrs. So they should be sitting in the first raw according to your analogy.
I see the large picture, but you do not.

  • 9. Danny | September 22nd, 2007 at 7:35 pm

With people like you no wonder LF’s and Lebanon in general is going down the drain. Now have we solved all the problems??? and the only one left is where Hakim is sitting at the funeral. SHAME on you for having a shortsighted myopic view. PLEASE grow up!
The comment about Martyrs’ next of kins seating seems most plausible. Stop looking for trouble. You sound more like a HassAoun spy that a LF member.
    Have a great day.

  • 10. Jester | September 22nd, 2007 at 8:03 pm

Do you honestly believe that the Christians in Lebanon are head runner ups??

► Do you Think the LF are the leading pole of the March 14?
    ▪ Think again!

► Do you think the FPM (Tayyar) is the leading pole in the Opposition?
    ▪ Think again!

  • 11. Some dude | September 22nd, 2007 at 8:21 pm

    Hahaha.

No wonder your country has been going down the crapper for the past 30 years.

Arguing about who should be sitting in the front row seats. How very astute.

Just like the satanic US and Zionists are taking advantage of the Lebanon to advance their own interests.

Big picture eh? Let me get you a frame for it.

With mentality like this, you deserve the leaders you currently have.

  • 12. mikel | September 22nd, 2007 at 8:35 pm

I would love to see Nayoula become president just to piss off the FPMers. :D

  • 13. Appo | September 22nd, 2007 at 8:39 pm

y rifak, wallahi 3eib… is this our cause????
we have 3 martyrs in the church, what the hell you are looking for… it’s a funeral and not a party… 3eib hal kalam… fi ness bthebb terkoud 3al karasi, el Hakim mish heik, if u watch the funeral live on TV, u can notice that the only person in the church was praying was Dr. Geagea, not smiling to this and winking that… so please if you consider this blog as official LF blog, just Shame on Us to think about chairs and positioning of each person… Shame Shame Shame…

Dr.samir geagea allways comes late becuase he takes so many routes to get where he is going because maybe of an attepmt of asasinating him maybe thats why????

  • 18. Oslo-Man | September 22nd, 2007 at 9:50 pm

guys, we don’t have time to think in such things, the time that every few weeks we have a 14 march candidate getting killed. do u think that if Dr. Geagea sits in the 2nd range, this means that he is a following up to Hariri and Jomblat? 3eib hal hakeh guys. if Dr. Geagea wanted to follow people, he wouldn’t be in prison for 11 years. i was supposed that LF supporters must already know Dr. Geagea attitude, but it seems that there are still looking for things apparently instead of looking for them deeply.

Finally i hope that one day we can get over these bad lebanses attitudes and look for a new lebanese population with new mentalities.

    Peace of God.

  • 19. danny | September 22nd, 2007 at 10:13 pm

Who cares who sits where, there are bigger issues to worry about at this point. I’m sure if Bash was there he would have done the same out of respect.

  • 20. nananou | September 22nd, 2007 at 10:26 pm

the reason why dr geagea was back cose the first bank kanou ehel el shouhada nayla lost her husband walid and saad their father that’s the lonly reason

walla ya chabeb…thank god i’m in the untied sates,at least i won’t be one of you or at least like you,cus that’s a shame…nobody was making any sense from all these comments that i just read.some of you guys….i have an idea…the only way to build a good country in lebanon is to leave lebanon for 6 months so u can miss it and appreciate it so much to the point where u will let go a lot of things out of ur ego to get a better lebanon.u guys should change first.men and women like us ,our age.wle chou bekoun wle.

  • 22. fad14 | September 22nd, 2007 at 11:13 pm

Out of a series of disappointing posts, you have gone really bad on this one N.

The respect most us have for Hakeem and LF will not change depending on where they sit in a funeral.

Out of the 3 sitting in the front and comparing them to Hakeem, we all believe he suffered the most in the past 15 years and he is most respected among them.

I thought i would be reading this post on tayyar.morgue and no here.

And I dont beleive anyone would write this post if Hariri was sitting in the back or if Jumblatt was sitting behind Nayla.

Bottom line is not about who sit first, it is about representation.

  • 24. Roch | September 23rd, 2007 at 2:23 am

Horraseljabal is right, its official sitting, first close family, kataeb party leaders, sons, daughters or wifes of political martyrs (you can see Solange Gemayel next to them on the right) then political people, and finaly the rest of us poor people. but we cant really nag about that. we dont know Ghanem personaly, they did. So the elast is they can the from seats, coz after all the cams on tv station are not there for us.

Anyway, this is not a meeting on the dialogue table, there is no 1st rank and 2nd rank people. its a funeral, you put closer to the deceased the people who are most hurt by the death. the family, his close friends, and the people who lost family members in the same way, reminding them their own loss. SG didnt loose any family member in assasination, the people sitting infront of him all did.

In this funeral, SG is on the same rank as Samir Frangieh, Boutros Harb…. Nothing to do with who will be president.

Hey guys, after March 14, 2005, I thought we are all Lebanese and there is no second or third class. I am a Muslim from the North & I have total respect to Hakim even though I never liked anyone who participated in the war. Out of all the people, I TRULY respect el-Hakim because he was jailed for his principles & didn’t run away like Aoun & didn’t betray his principles and accept any post in any government. I have friends of all confessions & I respect everyone’s belief & history but come on now, who cares about who stands where. What matters is where the man stands in everyone’s heart and mind. I felt insulted too that Siniora closed the country down when Eido was assassinated but just asked the flags to be lowered when Ghanem was killed. Heida 3eib. Akeed. But I believe we need to build a true state first before we deal with these issues. I am very secular and I want a secular country that respects its people and statesmen regardless of their sectarian and political affiliations. Don’t take me wrong, you can worship the way you want to, whenever you want to, Muslims or Christians. I just don’t want anyone to tell me what to do or how to wear or who to befriend, date or even marry. But be honest guys, we need to build a state first. We need a country first so we need to address all. If not, all will be lost and the country that we all belong to is nothing but a delusion.

    El salem 3ala ismo 3miltou el masi7 now :)

We all know in funerals they reserve seats and sit pple accordingly. Jumblatt father died in 1970’s long time ago. The LF is still bleeding blood.
I forgot one thing, thank you for all the “nice” words you labeled me, but I am not surprised, this is the new LF, ‘ourtit fashikha they use insults because they do not know what to say.

Geagea second class behind Jumblat and Saad. This is how Geagea ended up. The picture is just a picture, yet few of you understood the real meaning of what I meant.

Geagea can sit in front and can lead the mass too taking the place of the priest, but he stays behind Saad and Joumblat.

Anyway, I didn’t expect that the majority of you will understand what I meant.

    Lfers friends,

The picture is indeed intriguing but not surprising. The mass was organized by Kataeb that is today under the presidency of Amin gemayel. Unfortunately, and a thousand times unfortunately, there’s a hidden ennemiship from AG towards our Hakim. Let us not be so naive to believe in the forgiving gestures and empty words. Despite being the brother of the Bashir that we all worship and love, AG is made of a different fabric. AG was the creator of Aoun, AG gave Aoun the mission of eliminating LF and Aoun the frankenshtein just got rebelled against his creator and started weaving his presidential dreams independently. Unfortunately my friends, this is lebanon and this is our society, it’s all about big families, big names. No matter what Hakim does, for the gemayel family, he is an opportunist who stole the LF from them.
What I love about Hakim, and he’s my greatest hero, is the fact that he is a man who built himself just by his courage, faith and strength. He earned his leadership and didn’t inherit it, he is one of the very few politicians who actually was a common soldier, who fought and put his life at risk, who shot and got shot. Only few world leaders had the misery and the bless for spending 11 years in jail for their ideas, and for me he is the greatest of our living lebanese heroes. So, a first or second seat does it really matter?
    Long live our HAKIM

    Hi

where hakim sits is no problem for Lf or hakim ..
the motive of this article is what MOST xtian feel ..
they feel as second and third degree citizens
this is a result of their BIG MISTAKES and rivality and unfortunetaly the same responsable people are stil ” leaders ” with followers .
    most followers are stupid SHEEPS
i am refering here to amin gemayel and Aoun.,..

just to remind u , amin wanted the elimination of Lf many times and he finally appointed Aoun..

the other big problem is that SUNNITe SHIITe and DRUZE all have a secret agreement ( whatever their disagrements are )that keeps CHRISTIANS as Dhimmites and this explain why all ( except one ) asasinates were christians ..
thsi while christians - who consider themselves very clever - are acting as if they are servant of other policies not taking into account the startegical christian INTERESTS..

HA ( in addition to SSNP and others ) are INVOLVED in these assasinations in the lkast 3 years .. ..
HA and SSNP participated in the killing of HARIRI .

what is the solution to christians ???
while there are people like Amin and Aoun , difficult question..

finally sometime it is better to stand in 2 and rank and out of light .
whar bother me more si why the LF is not acting against those who assainated cjristains since 1991 especailly the sayedat najat church .

why the Lf si not asking for the re newel of investigation of sayedat najat ??’.

    regards

  • 41. MissOuwet | September 24th, 2007 at 11:11 pm

Sako (mbayyan innak tashnak) it’s christian not xtian ,cuz the zionists invented the x to replace the christ cuz they don’t consider the Christ as their Messia.
And who did the Sayydat el najat explosion?

i think there is one thing more greatness is when those beloved ones be thankful at least to show repect for this man how spent 11 years in a political prison
i used to like this web but every thing has limits only chaos dont , and this time you are way out of your limits. or you have intruders in your team, anyway its your mistake (whomever resp of the web)
and manolito i hope you understood what Fake said cause this what you deserve .
sako all people are even in god house there is no first and second raw. saad el hariri and walid junmblat(ma3 houfiz el 2al2ab) have been present while they can send deputies (christian ones) to the funeral , i never seen any of hisballah or amal leaders in any christian mass . how can we be 2nd degree when the other are coming to us? or u so upset or affraid of the unity between kate2b and lf to bring back the past?
“Rifa2″ dep. neilla m3awad isuue is a trap some of u has fallen to , she s a member of 14 march we should respect her like every other member
in the end its only our own opinions

    Hi

    1- to miss ouwet :
i am not armenian .. and i said christian with X to write less .

2- The important point that nobody is trying to resolve Is :
CHRISTIANS are alreday DHIMMITES in lebanon and one of the many resaons is their DIVISION due to GREED and STUPIDY..

Lebanon as created by MARONITES has finished and what we are burying now _ with every assasinated christain deputy or other - is this lebanon .

the SUNNITE and SHIIATE are alreday making deal to elect a TARTOUR MARONITE president who will protect SHIITE SUNNITE and EVEN DRUZE interests …
do not ask me how many maronite TARITIR they can choose from .

GAEGAE - Aoun will be the BIG LOOSERS..
in the same way they LOSt after the Quadriple agreement …
the patrak s¡ practical life subjects is CONTRIBUTING to this DHIMMITISME….

Do they have BALLS to ask the punishment of those who planted the BOMB in NAJAT church ( the syrians ordered bUt lebanese citizens planted the bomb ), who tortured the christains in the 15 yeras of syrian control , and of course , can they ask for the punishment of those ( AMAL+HA+HARIRI+JOUMBLATT ) who COVERED , PROTECTED and ACCEPTED the syrian occupation?????
the consequence are CHRISTIANs are now DHIMMITES and have No rights …

the main question now , is what to do about it ?????????””’

  • 45. Sophie | February 28th, 2008 at 3:51 am

Yes, I’m LFer. But I think Nayla Moawad has to be our next president. It’s a shame that Hakim, who’s in the same political side than her, doesn’t encourage a woman for presidency.
