  The only reason Joumblat would say such a thing in public is to cause havoc among his allies voters, thus when they win the elections they would barely win over aoun, thus it will lead to a tie among the christian leadership and a balance in force of all parties…
  Defenetly Nasrallah slanders Aoun all the time in front of his men but it does not go public in order not to hurt Aoun’s voters.
  Same goes to all parties.

  That said, Christians all over Lebanon should thank God day and night for having someone called Michel Aoun who refused to offer their necks to the likes of walid jumblat, like the many tiny tiny tiny leaders wannabies wanted him to.

  LFers, Phalanges, and whoever else, it is about time you turn the page on leaders who have proven at every opportunity that they are not fit to lead, who will offer all of you as sacrifices on the altar of walid jumblat and the altar of Hariri in return for a parliament seat.

  Too bad for Dori Chamoun and Samir Geagea though, they are screwed if they break their ties with jumblat, and they are screwed if they continue. One more wall they managed to hit at full speed, making this a perfect streak, they never miss a wall

  I did not see anything important of what Jumblat said, inno sure he knew that someone was filming and sure he wanted to send his messages,

  Between us ,inno who of you did not say the same about the 3akkar sunni and how they ran away from Beirut on 7 May?

  Who doubts that M14 are having big problem in finishing the list for the elections? Look what hapened with Nassib Lahoud yesterday. And look what is hapening in Kesrouan, Farid ma baddo Carlos, w Bweiz nater iza 3aoun byekhdo min heik ba3do sekit, w Sej3an ma 7adan baddo yeh.

  This not to mention what will happen after the elections when M14 will start accusing themselves especially after they see that the compromise was to get Jean Obeid and Ghattas Khoury in the place of Samer Saade and George Adwan.

  قبل شهرين تقريبا تناقلت مجموعة من اللبنانيين بواسطة الإنترنت فيلما صوّره هاتف نقّال يُظهر رئيس اللقاء الديموقراطي النائب وليد جنبلاط، في حضرة المرجع الروحي لطائفة الموحدين الدروز أحمد جواد ولي الدين، يتحدّث على طريقته، عن كل من رئيس كتلة المستقبل النيابية سعد الحريري ورئيس الهيئة التنفيذية في “القوات اللبنانية “.

  وقد عمدت “قناة الجديد” الى بث هذا الفيلم التلفوني وسارعت وسائل الإعلام التابعة للعماد ميشال عون الى تفريغها ونشرها مركزة على ما جرى تسجيله من كلام لجنبلاط بحق جعجع .

  هذا حصل، ومن يعرف وليد جنبلاط جيّدا، يعرف أنه يفعلها، على اعتبار أن له طريقته في إدارة المفاوضات مع حلفائه متى كانت معقدة، من جهة كما له طريقته في تبرير التحوّل الطارئ على مواقفه مما أزعج قواعده الحزبية والدرزية في آن،من جهة أخرى .

  ولكن السؤال، هل يُعطي هذا النوع من الهجوم الذي يتم تلبيسه صيغة آنية، مفعولا عكسيا ضد جعجع بالتحديد؟

  من يراجع ما قاله جنبلاط يكتشف أن جعجع، بالنسبة إليه، هو شخصية “داهية”، بحيث أخرج زعيم المختارة من ثيابه، لسببين أولهما أنه نجح في تحييد المسيحيين عن المواجهة مع من يسميهم جنبلاط “الشيعة”، وثانيهما أنه يقود عملية ثابتة لانتزاع ما يريد في العملية الإنتخابية .

  وهذا بالنسبة للمسيحيين الذين يعتقدون بأنهم في وضعية تحديد موقعهم في لبنان، بمثابة وسام يُعلّق على صدر جعجع، لأنه يحميهم من جهة وينتزع حقوقهم من جهة أخرى .

  بمعنى آخر، إن ما كان يُقال عن دهاء الرئيس الراحل كميل شمعون بات اليوم يقوله جنبلاط عن سمير جعجع.

  ومن شأن هذا التفسير أن يشد عصب مؤيدي جعجع بقوة ويُعطيهم ثقة بأنفسهم وبقائدهم، وهم من عانوا الأمرين من حملة تخوين طالتهم ،واستندت الى عناوين “سخيفة ” لا تقدم للمسيحيين شيئا …ولم تقدم.

  ولهذا الكلام المنقول عن جنبلاط أيضا إنعكاسات إيجابية أخرى على جعجع، ذلك أن كلمة واحدة قالها جنبلاط في ربيع العام 2005 عن العماد ميشال عون جعلته مقصد المسيحيين اللاهثين وراء …بطل.

  حاليا، قال جنبلاط عن جعجع أكثر من كلمة واحدة، لقد تلفّظ بفقرات كاملة ضده، وتاليا فهو يُقدّم لجعجع العباءة التي سبق لكلمة “تسونامي” أن جعلتها في العام 2005 من نصيب العماد ميشال عون .

  ومن يدقق بالظروف السياسية لانتخابات هذه الدورة يُدرك تماما أنها لا تسمح بالبحث عن بطل دونكيشوتي بل تلهث وراء داهية شمعوني.

  وبهذا المعنى، فإن جعجع حصل على الرمزية، وتاليا لو قُدّر له ولماكينته الشعبية والإعلامية والسياسية ان تتعاطى بدهاء مع كلام وليد جنبلاط بعيدا من الإنفعالية،لحملة المسيحيون عاليا على أكتافهم، لأنه بات لهم، كغيرهم من الطوائف “داهية “يعرف كيف يحميهم وكيف يحصّل حقوقهم، وليس مجرد بطل يحمل السيف الذي لم ينتج حتى اليوم سوى تقطيع لرؤوسهم ورؤوس وطنهم و…موقعهم.

  Well

  This video is useful in its last part wwhen Jumblatt started talking about how thw west are trying to deal with the HA issue..This is true, as a minority in the mountains, Jumblatt does not see how it is useful for them to fight with the Shia uner the HA control!
  Yes I agree with him and we ourselves said many times on this blog, when it comes to power all maronites bi biy3ou 7alon! walaw nssina lahoud, aoun , suleiman el saghir etc…not to mention that LF and Kataeb never had a smooth relationship before…eh el massi7hiyeh are horrible and somehow stupid in politics let’s admit it!

  This is not to defend Jumblatt but I think he is sendig a message to the shia not to 14th March!

  As Jumblat mentioned, the USA are trying to appease Iran. This will have a good impact on the political situation in Lebanon as Iran will send a clear message to HA to integrate in the political fabric of Lebanon while somehow holding on to their weapons just in case

  walla ya chabeib, jumblat is a master in picking up changes in the region.
  he was counting on western pressure to help the cedar revolution, but when he saw that the international community is willing to negociate with syria/iran, and maybe one of the bargains will be the International tribunal.
  he was quick to pick it up, and act accordingly, maybe to live another day, to fight another fight.
  the man has no problem to forget, he forgot his father’s murder for 20 years…
  the most important, is what is the choice we want as christians?
  jumblat will go back to syria to protect his head, or he will end up like his father.
  hariri, is a good man, but, the man knows that when the saudis will agree with the syrians, that he will have to let it go. and will have no other choice than to go back to syria.
  the rest, will be left alone, cad, LF and phalange, we know from experience that if we do not do something now, all our necks will be on the line.
  the syrians will be back, the usa with obama won’t give a fuck, so, we will go back to jails, and it’s easy, we remember how files were fabricated.
  THE ACTION NEEDED NOW IS:
  now that we know that we will be the scapegoat, because we have no foreign country supporting us, no saudis and no iranians.
  we must bury the hatchet and beat jumblat at his own game.
  every one else is ta2ifi, lf + phalange must unite with aoun, because, i’m really afraid, that our allies will leave us. and geagea isn’t stupid coz he is the one that said if you don’t have the tools for a battle, nor do you count on exterior intervention to help, YOU SHOULDN’T WAGE WAR, unless you expect negociations. (HE SAID THAT WHILE BLAMING AOUN FOR THE TA7RIR WAR AND HIS POSITION IN TAEF)
  because if we lose this one, we must have already built connections with foreign embassies, because when the syrians will be back, they will be here to get their revenge.

  i know, all the ones reading this post can’t do anything about it.

  but i felt betrayed when i watched this jumblat.
  we are waging this elections in the name of the martyrs, what if, nobody gives a fuck bout them…

  As for the definition of achievements, you are right, i should have elaborated more on that. achievement: something accomplished, esp. by superior ability, special effort, great courage,accomplishment, the achievement of one’s object. in other words, its the accomplishments of one’s objective.
  And i think that both geagea and aoun achieved things. Samir geagea is the leader of 30year old party/militia, Michel aoun is an M.P, and the former commander of the Lebanese army, they both accomplished some of there objectives and failed on other occasions.

  Become a more open person is not difficult if you are willing to practice and listen. In Michele’s case, LA 7AYAT LIMAN TUNADI, she carries around an assortement of hurt feelings,angry thoughts, and hatred toward each and ever one of us… her negative attitude toward anyone who disagree with her is a feeling of fear and uncertainty… khalss trika for het madness. I used to respect her .. not anymore.. ya3ne read her 11 ,17 and 56.. 7aram..

  I am not a perfect person.. never said i was nor wil be.. I make mistakes and I learn from it… i apologized so many times b4..THEY DON’T , THEY ARE ALWAYS RIGHT!!

  Maybe we need to teach Michele that success is measured by our actions and achievemnents in life , not our roots and family treeeeeeeeeeeeeee !!

  btw, I love kosher food. Kosher marinated chicken wing are the best of the best… I eat it evey once in a while…

  Jews marinate their food for hours b4 they eat it , and this what makes their pastrami so good…

  From the outset, you tried to defend Doc by attacking Michele. BTW, it is a waste of time. Doc often throws irritating and illogical ideas and somehow istifzeziyeh. I used to anwer him back not anymore coz I lost interest in what he has to say. It is always the same old story about HA and Aoun and Lf and so on. Michele likes to call him idiot so let him defend himself why do you need to get involved into this debate?

  I wish we could focus on the relevance of what Jumblatt said and his unique style in politics and so on!
