ok so in W’s understanding of chain of command…. does amin el gemayel giving michel aoun an order justify general orangina sleeping with the enemy 25 years later?….
Ya f**K it let’s blame aoun’s visit to syria on amin el gemayel… actually it’s their new slogan for the 2009 elections…we went to syria cuz amin told us….

W, the reason why this pisture is intersting is that tayyrists have built most of their ideology on “everyone used to sleep with the syrians excpet us” pretending that this gives you the right and the legitimity to today sleep with them. How many tayyar websites or TV showed that video of geagea shaking hands with assad? this psiture is just an answer to that…then accusing amin gemayel shows how backward yr logic is…of course amin gemayel was speaking with the syrians when he was president…is that news? next time post a picture of hariri with bashar and pretend you scored a point.
PS: plse stay here, I can’t access the democratic orange room who bans me every now and then despite me changing names and keeping my posts very civilised(unlike the orangies there)…seems you guys don’t like debating…
17. ja3far | December 15th, 2008 at 12:01 pm

Funny u mention that Ja3far coz it seems that he did indeed meet wz Mossad when he was in France, i dunno if u are reading the papers these days.
Hmmmmmmmmmmm, i wonder if anyone took a picture of that lovely meeting….
19. ja3far | December 15th, 2008 at 12:12 pm
may be it was funny at that time michele
but the most important thing for me is that after looking throughout all available choices and options he decided a strategic alliance that may save lebanon .. do you lebanese christian want to be the .” rass al harbi .” in a east to west conflict … do you really think that our friends the americans were care if the christians in lebanon become few hundred thousands less .. oups sorry they do care the same way they care about the christian in iraque as our friend patrick told us before about the tremendous help those christians are getting to fight there.. am i right patrick ;0

Ja3far, the issue is that he is constantly flip flopping in a non logical way which shows that he has no real policy other than being power thursty and confrontational.
If aoun wanted to live with his environment as you say he would have thought abt it earlier…not later than in 2005 all the aounies were shouting “1559 now” in all the demos and now they want to teach us that one should be careful not to antagonize the hizb…they did antagonize them when it was worth trying not too and then allied with them once the mask had fallen and compromise looked impossible. Would just remind you that until now still accuse march14 of being sons of the devil because they went into the helf el rouba3i…I also remind you that the aounie MP’s (along with march 14 christians) refused to vote for Berry as head of parliament, eventhough I ideologically think that was right, not electing berri would have probably cost us a may 7 back in 2005….
And by the way you are talking as if aoun has decided to accept “the other” and to reconcile himself with his muslim environnement…lech el senné chou??evangelists? when you antagonize all the sunnies of lebanon, KSA or the other arab countries are you really siding with the people around you?? saret el manta2a iran and their puppets bass?? I don’t care about the sunni/shiia thing, for me today the muslims of the region are divided between moderate and radicals and naturally the christians have to side with the moderates…I don’t think this is rocket science and this why march 14 christians regroups right and left wing christians….
21. ja3far | December 15th, 2008 at 2:41 pm
fuziad.. the arab leaders never mirror the major arab opinion.. i hope you know that..
since the 40s these arab leaders were conspiring with the israreli .. walawe, plaestine was divided between jordan, egypt and israel..
when the american envaded iraque, prince ABdul. at that time took a position to publicaly stand with the majority of the public, against the envasion.. do u have any idea what happend in suadi ? things cooled down after his visit to texas…
now you think the arabs , moderate or not, stand with the americans and the israelies against the other side .. then you are a real rocket scientist ;0)

Wow,
I have been reading and not commenting much! But as in previous post where Patrick handed it to the BS kings…ali/rahbar/sam/%^$&, I see another gem here..
“…the arab leaders never mirror the major arab opinion.. i hope you know that..”
I guess this is visa vie that Khameini and the Mullahs reflect the major Persian opinion! I’ll remember this amazing tidbit!
So deep of analysis lately…

Yes I know Ja3far, regimes in the arab are better than their people
….
Really I think they are and I hope for human beings and for muslims in particular that one day the people, not only the regimes will become moderate…would be good…may be then we could have democracy in muslim country without having fundmentalist regimes, I don’t you think that would be bad but i don’t…nor do aounies(deep inside)…

Hello guys,
I am a big fan of your site, because sometimes it critizes its own leaders, and therefor this site is a real source of information for me and other lebanese around the world.
Unfortunatly i am always sadenned (is it english ??) when I see lebanese fighting and blaming each others.
We have lived during Bachir’s presidency and I sincerely think that he would not have appreciated all these. I am not blaming anyone, I just think that we should all work hand in hand specially christians, in better understanding ourselves and then understanding sunnis, chi’as, and jews in Lebanon.
I hoped when Gl Aoun and Dr Geagea came back to the scene, that this would be a rebirth of Lebanon, unfortunatly we’re going back decades, and some will say that when Syria was here it was better. Of course, I say no, but Lebanese should be able to control themselves and try to build the future.
One day maybe we will understand that Lebanon is not Michel Aoun, is not Walid Joumblat, it’s not Amine Gemayel it’s not Samir Geagea and it is not Nabih Berry or Hassan Nasrallah…
Lebanon is 10452 km for all its people, a land of freedom, peace and center of discussions between religions …
Hope one day everyone will wake up and try to understand that .. Unfortunatly it is not for 2009 as everyone is going to battle for a $$$ seat sorry a deputy seat …
May God Bless Lebanon for evil …

La kil ouwatji .Please dont forget that your boss SAMIR GEAGEA cooperated with the syrian army in october 13,1990 against the lebanese army.
And mainly dont forget who is responsible for the toxic wastes that were burried in kesserwein.
so please Michele remember these.
27. ziad-italy | December 16th, 2008 at 10:42 pm
i got this in an email . i thought i would post it in here

yujj to2borneh…
i’ll not talk about october 13th since the war between LF and aoun army was still ongoing.
second you mentioned the toxic waste in keserwan.. well let me tell u i’m from keserwan (heights of keserwan), i lived in this province for 25 years before i leave lebanon. the water we used is from 3youn symen (where bull crappers say the Italian toxic waste are since mid 80’s) so for more than 23 years not a single accident happened to anyone in keserwan because of water. and as i know they build a dam in chabrou7 with millions of gallons of water, to provide water to keserwan and part of metn.. people are skying there every year, hotels, compounds are built there… well tell me if you really think there’s toxic waste in this area, 23 years are not enough to start seeing consequences???
can anyone show us where this waste is instead of just talking about it??? or maybe after 7alat graves you do not dare asking for digging anymore??
so please cut the crap, think, use ur brain before repeating others words…especially when talking about such dangerous and serious issues like toxic waste…
Cheers.
30. Michele | December 17th, 2008 at 7:05 am
Yujj sweetie, let’s play a game; a very simple one:
We enumerate what both Geagea n Aoun did bad in the past n what Geagea n Aoun are doing now very bad. Facile hein??
Ok.
Past:
Geagea according to u, he cooperated with the syrian army in october 13,1990 against the lebanese army and is responsible for the toxic wastes that were burried in kesserwein.
Won’t argue that.
Aoun, collaborated with the syrians late 80s n got promised if he gets rid of the LF, they’ll make him a president.
Promised not kept, he declared a stupid war against the Syrians, got thousands killed n thousands immigrating, plus he stole money n run away leaving his men behind.
Now the present, today:
Geagea… euh Geagea… Hmmmm let’s see. Oh yes i got it! Geagea is asking for Lebanon sovereignity, independance, building a strong nation.
Aoun: is allienating wz the Cedar revolution, allying wz all the Syrian symbols, with a terrorist organization, defending n supporting terrorism against the Lebanese hence May 7, cutting deals with Iran n Syria; defending Iran & syria. Claiming he has no longer men in the Syrian jail; becoming a billionnaire…
I think it’s enough.
Now ur turn sweetie.
List the bad baaaaaaaad things that Aoun n Geagea are doing in the present.
