  Actually, we need the very accurate story to judge this.

  I think Geagea built his statement on the theory that what happened is a part of a plan set by Syrians to distabilize Lebanon, therefore he considered him a martyr.

  I see their story very close to our latest 2 martyrs from Sale7 Family, in Zgharta, murdered by Abou Wajih.

  However, what you say makes sense, since the cause our older martyrs died for, since 1975 until 1990, and evern before 1975, died for greater causes..

  I can not judge about that, but imagine someone saying this about Martyrs Sale7.. It is hard to decide here if the guy should be called martyr or not.

  You are a philosopher. What do they call him (kalb?). He died by the weapens of Weeam Wahab’s group who is the man of syria. For this reason we call the guy that died a martyr. If you wanna call him kalb you can but don’t critisize just to say you are here.

  PK u r 100% right! tekhanta ktir ya Mano, iza baddak tseb ghadabak 3al hakim, seba gheir matra7, the guy died by pro syrians, he died by allies of syria, he is a martyr, just think about his family, about his mother, akid byefta7 alba when ka2ed l ouwet l massi7iyi l lebnainiyi calls her son a martyr, akid its some kind of solidation for her, her son died by a syrian gun! So plz be objective and most important plz have a heart! Go critisize aoun when he doesnt talk about this subject, go critisize aoun when he doesnt defent the church when a syrian dog critisizes it. U should be angry from them, u shouldnt b angry of the hakim when he calls a 19 year old guy who is anti syria a martyr!! ALL IN ALL GET A LIFE man and leave ur hatred behind!

  I never heard Walid Jumblat saying our rifa’ are martyrs nor he gave his condolences.
  I didn’t ask you to call him (kalb). He is a human, show some respect and do not twist my words. He died over a picture and not on teh front defending his country. He died for a cheap picture and if he was smart enough, he would have let them put the picture and take it down later if he doesn’t like it. His parent and SSNP can call him martyr. I didn’t see Jumblat calling Ramzi irani amrtyr nor Pierre Boulos nor the rest of teh rifa’ who died while he was taking orders from Syria. But in this era of crawling, in the eyes of few puppets ana Takhanta.

  Anyone killed by a syrian or pro-syrian should be called a martyr..

  I agree with Mano 100 % ..
  I didnt see Jumblatt or Hariri call Pierre Boulos and the 2 brave men from Dahr el 3en martyrs .. how did those die ?? car accident ??

  I believe what Hakim did was a political mistake.

  yeah whtever the hakim does will b a political mistake in ur eyes and the eyes of a couple of people, because when hatred fills the heart, it blinds a person! cheers

  JIm, it is not about hatred. No one hate the guy who died and all of us want the best for hakim. When others do not call Saleh & Issa, Piere Boulos, Ramzi irani,…. martyrs and do not show their respect, why Hakim has to label a person who died fighting like hooligans for a picture a martyr? This is not hatred, this is a clear mistake by hakim. He doesn’t have to do it, or does he?
