It was 1988 and I was in class. Monsif National School to be exact. It was an ordinary day at school but something odd was happening up in Baabda.

Something very odd in fact. But lets tell it like it is, why lie anymore?

It was always about you wasn’t it.

You couldn’t be content to leave well enough alone. You couldn’t just say ” gosh I am so lucky to be here”. Nope. You had to go fuck the whole shit up.

First you started with the folklore.

Calling the people to come camp out like it was Lalapalooza or Woodstock. Yeah to hell with school and work, just come hang out, right?. You had to bring them up because you were scared like a little squirrel gets scared when it is picking up a nut. Only you were the squirrel and the nut at the same time.

You couldn’t say ” enough is enough” . No, you had to have the people singing and dancing and shouting and more than anything praising you. Nobody really knew that you were protecting your ass from attack by having a human shield 24 hours / 7 days a week. they didn’t know that you were a coward back then. You were talking such a big game to everyone with all those soldiers defending you.

Nope it didn’t stop there, Somehow you got people to go to every school and every classroom. You weren’t content with just talking a lot of shit and beating your chest like King Kong on too much crack cocaine. No you had to collect all our lunch money too. Yes sir , you ;the most honest politician in Lebanon, needed to get donations from every child who wanted a man2oushe instead.

So you even got the school administration to beg for you.

I was in class, yes I was. I wasn’t happy to be there and I was even less happy when the door knocked and the school counselor walked in.

“Everyone should donate money to General Michel Aoun” . Huh? donate my good lunch money???

What kind of bullshit crap is that?

But sure enough they walked around with a big jar and literally stole our valuable, useful, food purchasing Liras.

I can never forget watching my 5,000 LL drop into that thieves excuse for a collection jar. Gone it was, and gone was my Pampa Ananas juice and Man2oushe with banadoura and Labne. Gone I tell you. GONE.

GONE FOR WHAT?

Gone to the General of the Sha3b el Gasheem thats for what. I wonder how many millions and millions of dollars were collected from poor unsuspecting children in that year of infamy.

But let me tell you something. I haven’t forgotten. NO SIR I HAVEN’T . Not one piaster of those 5000 excellent man2oushe buying LIRAS

Yes you crazy deranged cocksucking orange son of a bitch,

I WANT MY 5000 LIRAS BACK , ASSHOLE!

In fact I want the future value of 5000 liras with a compounded interest of 20% ( the interest rate back in those days) with a coefficient multiplier to make up for the devaluation of our currency ( which you helped to do dumbfuck).

I want every cent of those 5000 Liras back for a number of reasons.

1. I didn’t want to give it in the first place, you literally forced people to give up their money, KIDS IN SCHOOL NO LESS!

2. You took the money under the premise of FIGHTING SYRIA!! YOU LYING SON OF A WHORE

3. You ran away like the pansy assed, lilly livered, yellow rat coward bastard that you are and on top of that you left all your men to die you lowlife.

4. You ruined the color orange for me for the rest of my life.

5. You claim to want to open the files of corruption, and put all the thieving politicians away

WELL START BY GIVING ME BACK MY 5000 LIRAS YA 7AYAWEN!!

in 1988 5000 lira? who are you kidding, my allowance back then was 500 lira and it was enough to buy man2ousheh, pepsi and candy. 5000 lira back then would ben 25,000 lira now (inflation)

if they really took 5000 back then it means 2 things
1- you are extremely rich to have 5000 as lunch money
2- they actually owe you 20,000 lira now

i suggest you speak to your senator about this (Mr. Zahra) so he may raise the issue

Its 1988 and I was in class and a teacher walks in. Tuesday we are off, NO school and we are all going to Baabda to support the General.

5000LL for the bus and food.

Its double the fees to the trip to Byblos the year before it.

I was 13. I stood up, only one in my class and told him”What if I don’t want to go ???”"”

The guy erupted in anger “NOT GO , WHAT ARE YOU a Syrian or Palestinian ???”

I said “none of the above but I have better ways to spend a day off and better ways to spend 5000LL ”

He said I am not allowed and by force I have to come.

Next day i got backup in the form of my Father who told this teacher to piss off and to go sleep with Michael Aoun if he loves him this much.

From that day till today, I am still labeled by my class mates as a “Syrian”

I can’t go to Syria because of the Anti Syrian activities I did during my youth. I wasn’t allowed to come to Lebanon for 3 years because of my acts against them and because of Aoun I am LABELED a SYRIAN!!!

Now Aoun is Officially appointed guard dog of Bashar and IRAN and the greater Shiaa Nation, and my classmates still label me as SYRIAN.

And they tell me Aoun supporters have BRAINS and LOGIC.

- Is this blog set on bending Aoun and spliting futher the Christians??

- Are you Guys funded by anyone to do this?

- Why do most people I talk to, they tell me this is is pro-propaganda in splitting the Christians??

Courtfool, the main reasons I critisize Aoun and only him:

1) He failed the Christians and the rest of the lebanese.

2) He never kept a promise

3) He’s the one attacking and agressing the Christian church

4)Syria, Israel and Hezboillah have always been Lebanon’s ennemy and they never pretended the oppositw while GMA is fooling everyone.

Stop ur stupid allegations abt being paid as AOUN is the 1st one to be paid by different parties to execute the orders (At least i know that for a fact)!

im a person who believe in the general and i believe that he is our savior.

but im a person who also have a lot of respect for the history of the LF (till 1982) and there martyr who,allow me to say our “martyr” fighted for our survival.

It is true that Lebanonjon’s posting is funny a little, and despite the fact that he’s claiming 5000 liras only, but we should look at this story as a small sample for what Aoun did in his years of power, and what he’s still doing to hurt Lebanon and the Lebanese.

Yes, Aoun is the biggest liar ever, yes he used the people who followed him innocently, and because they believe in him, and because they were looking for a leader, he used their goodness, and he’s still using some naive people. He used them as a shield, the same way Hassouna is doing now (hiding in a bunker while the Lebanese were in the streets a subject for Israeli killings).
Aoun used people on different levels, so everyone was used, whether by his own will or by force, to present whatever he can, and lebanonon is an example for that. Maybe he paid 5000 liras at that time, but others paid more, and i think our friend Theresinia has mentioned that in a previous posting. It’s not only about the money, it’s about sacrifying many things, starting with time, money, taking care of the family, wasting jobs, making troubles with others, among them members of the family etc…
Yes people gave a lot to Aoun, and in return, i just want someone to name a sole achievement Aoun did, only ONE achievement. I don’t want talks as he and his peopl are used to do, i want acts, i want steps, neither when he was in power and not when he is a deputy now.
He has done nothing to improve the country, not a sole law he proposed. People only received talking from him. Now he has deputies in Metn, Kesrouan, Jbeil and in Bekaa. Someone tells me what he has done for these areas development. Of course nothing, and i’m talking about big achievements, no one gives me a story about a little road or a small project.
He’s the king of negativity, he only have success in fighting with everybody in power, that’s his job. He’s a NON CONSTRUCTIVE politician and that’s all.

I wanna tell you why we’re bending Aoun (the most not the only one), it’s because he’s a traitor. were you betrayed by someone in your life?? i hope not, but if you were, i think you will understand what i’m talking about.
It’s so hard to have someone like him i your own backyard. For me he’s an agent, i can consider him a Elia Cohen, anyone knows him??/ he managed to become the Syrian Defense Minister, only to be found as Israeli agent. Yes Aoun is a traitor, it’s like a son who kills his parents, Aoun did it, he killed our beautiful life, even at the war time back in 1988, our area (east Beirut and beyond until the North gate) was living in prosperity, and people were happy despite all the myseries of war, at least we were safe in our own society. we had good economy, stable infrastructure,people were coming from all the lebanese areas to spend some quiet time, etc… He broke al of that. And he did it once again in 2005. Christians were united behind the 14th of March and the Cedar revolution movement, and what have he done?? as usual.

Finally, Aoun is Judas in Lebanon, and his end will not be different. But at least Judas had felt some guilt, ths Aoun will not, because no matter what will happen he wil still living in his own world, after all he’s the King of the Universe!!!!!

I love these kids who never really knew the Orange Mongolian back in 1988 when he single handedly fucked the christians.

We were so powerful back then and our area was booming with new businesses and night clubs and shopping and tourists.
