  The Lebanese are certainly not against the Jews, but they are against your country’s treatment of the palestinians, meddling in everyone’s business, and generally causing trouble accross the board.

  But the thing is you are more than happy to denounce Israel’s conduct to the Palestinians………but not for once do you ask yourselves of the Arab treatment of Israel…..never…..nor the Jews that came from your own Arab countries I mean in 1948 there was no occupation…..and look how we were treated….I mean you want to end the occupation or do you want only to destroy Israel??……Plus nobody can go back to what the middle east was pre Israel….pre even British Palestine (which was Israel-West Bank -Jordan)….What I am saying is, what I want most is Peace but if peace means to end the occupation of lands taken by Israel in a war waged by many Arab nations then I agree!!!…..But if Peace means to destroy Israel,as an Israeli how can you ask me(Mike Nth Doc Lebanonjon Danny) to be silent???Do you really think that once there is peace if one day there is peace you will not see Israelis??,How long are you going to insult us as ‘Zionist’??? Yet you cry about shalit and make a bigger deal about him then all the arabs killed by the IDF combined. Probe that.

  Hamilcar, if you’re saying we have more in common with them then I can agree on part of that. We do have a bad history of murdering people on religion and opposing politcal groups. Common ground we should really be proud of.

  We also don’t fully reconcile with our lebanese brothers until now and after the civil war. Basically all the bad stuff that they got us into.

  Hassan Makhlouf is a Alouite from the family of Assads mother. As a head of customs Authority, he has plenty of occasions to make money. Didn’t he knew about the real identity of the Mossad team? Maybe.
  The real question is how the Mossad identifies Moghnyeh, who had changes his face several times, and how dod they get informed of his agenda. He execution team could have entered the syrian frontier easily. What is not easy, is to identify Moghnyeh, localise his movement and his car and know his exact agenda to put the explosive in his car at the right moment. I don’t yhink the Mossad could have infilitrate all this very secret datas without the help of the Syrian intelligence or the palestinians network who works with Moghnyeh under the supervision of the Syrians.

  Mosaad killed mughniyeh by staying in a nearby apartment for 3 weeks monitoring all his movements and timings. They came to syria from their start point of kurdistan in northern iraq. The tip that he was actually there was gotten from Palestinian millitary leaders he was training and giving instructions to when they had meetings. Turned out these guys love money more than their cause. Easily sold him out with syria letting it happen. Israelis were bribing the syrians that it will be easier to get back the golan through the indirect peace negotations if they let it happen.. Syrians as usual; outsmarted. Not to mention, mughniyeh exactly knew who killed hariri.
