Congratulations once again
And on a a scale from one to ten
Of just how badly we got screwed
An eight or nine would have been good
But in the Doha, they raised the shelve
And in my opinion they scored a twelve
They took the chance and did excel
Once more our country did they sell
Just like in church with all the confessions
Instead they made all the concessions
At first they all were talking big
And none more than Aoun the pig
As he pretended not to care
What they did with his poor chair
We saw berri wearing a white dress
His Arab hosts he did impress
How this time he collected more
Than every other March 8 Whore
And Hariri with the golden egg
His sunni brothers did he beg
Give me beirut, its mine by right
Just protect me please from the Shiite
Poor Samir and Amine were lost in translation
Being the worst of the team in Arab relations
They shouted and cried but to little avail
A little too late when the country’s for sale
I wonder what they gave Jumblatt
But I’ll bet my balls it wasn’t alot
It looks like the iranians got the cake
Or should I say kaak, for syria’s sake
We got sleiman the spineless president
Another asskisser for baabda’s resident
Still we didnt get Aoun, that really would have sucked
But in case you were wondering ,we’re still getting fucked

Congratulations everyone!! Lets go back to partying

LEBANONJON

What a failure. after the Syrian Army withdrawal from Lebanon we’ve been dreaming about a Bachir gemayel 2. Now we have Emile Lahood 2. Thanks March 14, great job.

Lebanonjhon …you and some people are the only one who sees lebanon lost

We have seen a new hope for lebanon to rise again by giving the christians the least of their rights to rule !

Nobody should get out as a winner but Unfortunly for u guys Michel aoun won this time….and he really won ! he showed that it wasnt the presidency being his primary goal but the christians to have their share back to the government

yes he did win Michel he did…people who has been swearing michel aoun for 3 years admits that politically and strategically he had made the right choice

  • 11. ziad-italy | May 21st, 2008 at 5:49 pm

arze wou yalli faw2ou , aoun only goal was the presidency , but he didnt get it and he wont get it , he allied himself with hizzbolla !!! i cant beleive it … i mean i cant beleive that there are chrystians that are shouting proudly the name of hizzbolla and syria and iran … i mean the people who were fucked up in the war from syria were the chrystians and now u guys are happy with the syrians and iran !! this is just absurd … as for now , everyboday have sacraficed something … mouwelet wou mou3arada … all of this to have a decent country … aoun didnt win … nobody won … just lebnon … just us … we won peace …. we won a decent summer … i won a trip to lebanon this summer without me being worried if i can get back to italy or not … this is what we won … not aoun , not hariri neither hakim and hizzbolla ….
and for the record … the election will prove that what aoun is saying is only “cagate”(in italian) means 5ARA2IYYET bel 3arabi el mshbra7 … it makes me laugh that he thinks he have the 70% of the chrystians … it is like omar karami saying he have 6.78 % of the sunnit … knowing that he have 0.78 % …

Arze, I have a question…let’s say one day there is disagreements between aoun and hizb, will aoun be able to take a stand on it or will they attack him and bomabrd him like they did to saad??

What did aoun win if hezbollah got all the power?? enno fhemna 7alifkon bass is this eternal??

  • 15. Rodge | May 21st, 2008 at 6:05 pm

You are all talking with ur hearts not ur minds.

You should see far from ur nose. This agreement is not more than a truce that could last for a year or 2 at the most.

As for you Aounist people, I think I did explain to you before what was the negative aspects of the 1960 electoral law on Christians with the demographic change occured since. You’re happy about it, it’s like you won the lottery. The law they agreed on is not good, we could have done better if we gave more time and let the experts negociate a permanent law, but what happened was just a deal done, not between the Lebanese leaders, but between the US, Iran, Syria, and to some extent Saudi Arabia and the other moderate Arabs.
So now, what will happen next is that each party will try to consolidate its position for the next round of conflict.

Now back to the electoral law, can someone tell me how the Christians in Baabda will elect their deputies with the presence of Shiites and Druzes?
How the Christians of Baalbeck and Hermel will do it? Even in Zahle? In jbeil, the Shites villages will have the last word if we have even votes between both 14 and 8 of March.

In Lebanon we need a modern electoral law, and you people want us to be back 48 years, and you’re happy about it.
People went top the moon and to Mars, and we’re happy about a law that will give some more or less seats for the leaders we like

  • 16. TAYYARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR | May 21st, 2008 at 6:13 pm

Fuziyad….Please somebody explain wheres’ GMA loss in acheiveing a government where no one party can have the sole opinion and sidelines the rest?
Where’s the loss in acheiving an election law that guarantees adequate christian representation?
There’s none! But you see that doesn’t go with you guys because if christians were to be trully represented you won’t have half as much deputies as you do now…
So the what if that you’re talking about is pointless…nobody can predict the future (espcialy not Geagea..Odessa you fogot: Ri2aset el joumhouria lana :D)
And in politics thats the way things are…JUSTICE ALWAYS PREVAILS…

  • 17. paul | May 21st, 2008 at 6:35 pm

it´s very nice to hear that the christians have now more deputies to vote.

    did someone knows their names???

  • 18. kezballah | May 21st, 2008 at 6:42 pm

Ya tayarrrrra, when you go to the airport to ride in a tayyara flying to america for a job and the HA man Wafi Shukair tells you bye bye you will understand how the Aounist lost.

You think you won and justice prevailed? Go tell it to the families of the 100 people who were massacred by HA that justice prevail see what they will say to you. Remember the Metn elections how many Christians voted for you? This time the Awmiye can help you better after they practice killing civilian people again, they can kill more M14 voters for you.

Aounis you remain the stupidest group in Lebanon, there is a more intelligence in an orange than there is in a Aouni.

it is an new era …we should all face it..
US propaganda of armed support tol3et 2echret basle, and you don’t suppose that the announcing of peace talks btw Syria and Israel the same day of the Doha thing is a pure coincidence…we need to look outside the cup my friends…the game is just a little akbar men Aoun wga3ga3…

#12 Odessa; add also جعجع لـ”النهار”: إذا اضطررنا إلى النصف + 1 فسننتخب حرب أو نسيب لحود
    lollllll

also remember GMA views on HA before he came back to Lebanon…
let us not be so emotional and idealistic about our leaders…we should learn that all this is a roulette game…they have all placed a bet and the luckiest have won…
and what was won is ensuring a ticket to the next parliment…

see you in 10 years for a new convention…unless we realize that we need a nizam 3almane we will always be screwed

  • 21. Ra'fat | May 21st, 2008 at 8:09 pm

They never agreed outside the government, they never agreed when they were in the government. How has anything changed? the only thing for certain is that now absolutely nothing will get done. First off, all you idiots talking about sharakeh, you can’t have more than one chef in the kitchen or nothing will get done. One side/person has to always decide and everyone else has to suck it up, that is how things move forward. Second, why should we care about an election law that will only produce different garbage (unless you truely belive that this election law will herald the birth of new heroes that will save lebanon, in that case please go back to taking your medication). The election law was never the problem, it is the social status of the country that is the problem, it is our diseased way of thinking that is the problem. Different election law means same garbage different names. First, we castrated the presidential position, now we castrated the executive government, seriously no one sees that? You guys really think M8 and M14 will magically form a cohesive government to work for the better of Lebanon? I refuse to believe that there are people that stupid out there, if there are please go back to 3alam el sanafer. I really do not give a shit at this point who rules Lebanon or who controls it for that matter, all I want is for me not be ashamed of bieng Lebanese, I want the right to have pride in my passport and not be treated like a criminal at airports, I want to live in my country with dignity and not be humiliated by someone who thinks he owns the land, I want to have a job where i can have a decent life and raise my kids. These all sound like dreams, which is funny since these are the obsolute basics offerred by any civilized country. This whole charade was but a patch on the cancer, Syria is working on piece with israel as we still want to fight, our youth has left the country but we say we are fighting for a cause, we still have no value for human life as we value nothing but death, it is so easy for us to kill and destroy yet we do not know how to build, there is nothing left that is functional in this shithole that I call my country. They had to have blood flow in the streets so that they could agree, was that really needed? The true answer to all the questions, is that we are the disease, and we will never learn, never, and will always continue eating our own flesh. I guess you can call that the Lebanese Condition.

Anthony, tel7as ti*zeh ta ma n2ellak shi tene.

  • 23. Michele | May 22nd, 2008 at 7:36 am

Wassim, u wanna know why Aoun is the biggest loser???
The ONLY thing he cared abt is to become president, n now he will NEVER EVER become 1.

Although i’m not happy abt Sleiman’s election but of course i still prefer a man with his full mental capacity than a crazy scumbag like Aoun.

Finally i agree with Rodge i think that this is only a truce for few months until HA and/or Aoun come back with ideas to destruct even more Lebanon.
