good luck
Since 1976, the overwhelming majority of assassinations have targeted politicians with Anti-Syrian , Pro-Lebanese outlooks, this means that….
a. Israel Killed them all to implicate Syria
b. The Lebanese Forces Killed them all for Israeli benefit (see 1)
c. Forces of chaos and subversion are loose in the streets and we shouldn’t jump to conclusions
d. This government must go because it can’t provide security
After being elected President of the Republic, Bachir Gemayel was considered the single biggest threat to Syrian plans in Lebanon. Habib Chartouni, a Syrian Nationalist, was caught and confessed to planting and detonating the bomb. The real killer in this case is
a. Israel, naturally because he wouldn’t sign a peace treaty
b. The Lebanese Forces to implicate Syria
c. Unknown parties with agendas against Lebanon so we shouldn’t jump to conclusions
d. Habib Chartouni but that doesn’t necessarily mean that Israel is innocent
e. PLO members who wanted to implicate Israel
A missing Lebanese Army walkie talkie supposedly taken by the Lebanese Forces is found intentionally left behind at the scene of Dany Chamoun’s assassination. No other clues or fingerprints were found. One immediately realizes that…..

c. Israel did it so that Geagea could take the fall thus absolving Israel
d. there are evil anti Lebanon forces in the shadows and we shouldn’t be so eager to jump to conclusions
e. This Saniora Government must go
Pierre Gemayel is targeted in broad daylight by a team of assassins who recognize his car even though it is unmarked. Your natural understanding of politics and reading of the situation leads your to the following conclusions…
a. Samir Geagea killed him because he was afraid of his potential to unify the christian street and become president
b. Amin Gemayel wanted to be president again and thats it case closed.
c. Israel did it because the last 30 or so bombings and assassinations didn’t implicate Syria enough.
d. Forces of chaos strike again , and this government must have a hand in it because they cannot catch the killers
e. We shouldn’t rush to jump to accusation because logic dictates that this is what they want us to believe
f. March 14 is politicizing the killing by mentioning Pierre’s name.
Rafic Hariri opposed the extension of Emile Lahhouds term and has put together enough international support to get Syria out of Lebanon. A massive car bomb kills him in downtown Beirut. A United nations special investigation implicates Syrian agents in Lebanon by putting them in detention. High ranking Syrian politicians are likely to be indicted. In your understanding, the real killer of Hariri is….
a. Israel , and no further motive is necessary.
b. Sunni Extremist using 1000 kilos of c4 and operating without any knowledge of Syrian moukhbarat right in Downtown Beirut
c. The USA in order to start a Shiite Sunnite war
d. Saad Hariri who has the support of the CIA and wants to naturalize the palestinians faster than his father did.
e. Foreign elements are at work here who want to see Lebanon fail. We should not jump to accusations so rapidly.
f. This saniora Government must go because if they can’t stop the killings then they must be involved.

Lebanonjon, this is a very funny post but i must say one thing,, on Bachir Gemayel u mentioned:
” Israel, naturally because he wouldn’t sign a peace treaty.”
Aside from joking, many many people including LFers I know say that Israel might have had a hand in the killing of Bachir Gemayel on the peace treaty issue, and many others that might have been the motive for BG assasination..
I am raising this issue because I am stunned that you did imply a very plausible motive for Shei5 Bachir’s assasination… unless this is part of the humor.

man funny, but I actually think that most 8 march supporters know that syria is behin most if not all of the assassination, and they actually don’t mind that! They celebrate each time one 14 march figure gets assassinated.

Durandal
I know that Israel and Bachir were disagreeing on some issues right before the assassination,
but still, he was the best option that they had, “the lesser of two evils” for them if you want to put it that way.
Plus Chartouni confessed so no need for other accusations…
