FPM Candidate Review 1
Posted by kezballahThe election is only in 8 weeks and we (LF) run against FPM so it is natural if we look at their candidate and compare with our candidate, it is good for us to see how good the opponent is, it is good for FPM guys on the blog because they can give a opposite comparison, and it is good for the undecided people who are not LF or FPM so they see who is better for them.
I start with easy one NICOLAS SAHNAOUI, he is easy because he is not controversial like G Bassil. I give him 6 out of 10 (not fail but not great). This grade come after reading a interview about him: http://www.iloubnan.info/politics/interview/id/28159/lebanon/Nicolas-Sehnaoui:-%E2%80%9CIt-is-important-to-reassure-and-comfort-all-communities-before-splitting-to-secularism%E2%80%9D
So I think Nicolas is IBN 3AYLEH with GOLDEN SPOON in his mouth, he talk a lot about his family in politics, he is a son of minister ETC. For me it is not bad if he has his own achievement also but I don’t understand why General Aoun pick this man but he say Nadim and Nayla are kids and not experienced.
I also think Nicolas achievement is not very special, he is a good business man but there is nothing else special for politics, he concentrate on doing business until 2004 and work with FPM a few years, I don’t read anything that make him special.
His ideas for parliament are very known and basic, he support government protection and oppose privatization, and he want to help regions outside Beirut. There is nothing extraordinaire from what he talk about until now.
Sahnaoui is Catholic so he will be oppose to Faraon (M14), I think also Faraon is also a business man and he has nothing special so I think they are both boring and not special people for parliament.

kezballah,
when you say, “both of them are boring”, i didn’t get it… ? what do you expect a MP to be?
If you live anywhere abroad, all politicians are boring, and no one is interested in them…
it is only in lebanon, where politicians are becoming Gods and people worshiping them!
I think ALL our politicians should be like your “BORING” guys so people will loose interest in politics and maybe this country will have a chance to survive!

F.A you are right about the word BORING it is not the best way to say it, I don’t mean I want the MP politician to be a STAR and make a show for me, I say boring because Sahnaoui and Faraon don’t have any special skill to offer to us, they don’t have special achievement and special program for the election.
But I will vote for Faraon because he is with the independence movement not with the Hezbollah infinite war movement.
