More on Posters and Banners
Posted by kezballahN was faster than me about the LF posters on the highway and I felt exactly the same about the ones of Jesus and Mary (sorry Abollam and Jim but I didn’t like this), but the design is great for the other personalities, this picture of Sheikh Bashir I took in Zouk Mosbe7 opposite Irani, I loved seeing Camille Chamoun and Pierre Gemayel and Charles Malek all of them great personalities that we miss seeing and hearing about them since the Syrian scum try to erase their memory.
But I also want to answer some honest and intelligent questions from our friend Readers on the blog about posters of Bashir that he asked in the other article about BG poster in Achrafieh, the question was what does Bashir mean to us LFers and why we enjoy seeing his posters what is the achievement in hanging a poster, this is an important question.
For me it is very simple and always was simple, Bashir for me is not a rock star, he is a symbol of two things, my security and my dignity. Yes Bashir wanted to save all Lebanon 10452 but he also always worried about his community and region, he worked to give me security from the crazy projects of the Arabs and many Lebanese parties in 1975, like today with Hezbollah and Chi3a yesterday it was the PLO and 7araka Watania and the Sunni, just because I don’t want to sacrifice my country for the Palestine cause I am treated like a traitor and unwanted guest in this country, Bashir stood up to this and the LF turned the table on these crazy projects, today we are still fighting the same problem, they are holy and we are second class citizen if we mention their militia we have to clean our mouth and stay below their belt ETC.. Well guess what it will not fly because we are here to stay and this crazy ignorance of Hezbollah and Salafiyin will not last.
So what is the achievement in putting the poster, for me it is only to remember that many great people sacrificed their life so this country stays and doesn’t become like Palestine, many young men and women gave their life so Lebanon can have a chance to survive and Lebanese can have security and dignity. These martyrs we have to honor them every day and keep their picture in our heart, and sometimes we have to remind the others about them with a poster or a conference or documentary, they gave everything for us.

“they are holy and we are second class citizen if we mention their militia we have to clean our mouth and stay below their belt ETC.. ”
Kizballah…so true…that is el zoloum biaynou…It seems like our fellow sunnis in the past or the shiaas today always ready to sacrifice Lebanon as if it is not their country…Anyway if you read the political history of Lebanon Only the druze and the maronites beleived and fought for Lebanon as a nation since the ottomans…One time our professor at the University said that the druze/maronite alliance was always good to the autonomy of Jabal Loubnan….Today this alliance should be strengthened to reach independence…
However after the Hariri’s assassination, the Sunnis finally are convinced that Lebanon should be preserved as a nation…
Good post Hizballah…I like your ideas
Cheers

Such leaders are rare, they are the founder of the true, pure Lebanese resistance.
Yesterday a Aoune said to me the last speech of Nasrallah is very similar to BG speech in don bosco.I am not a sensitive person but I was shocked.
but with my reaction I bet that he will never told such a shit again
only online maybe

Istighlel damm Bashir for Geageas popularity. Really reallly SHAMEFUL
8. kezballah | August 30th, 2008 at 6:20 pm
paul thanks bro, I think Nasralla he tries many times to imitate Bashir in his speech, but there is only one original, 2i7zaru 2al taqlid
Delta OK what do you think of Hezbarra?
Danny Badr why do you say istighlel damm Bashir? I think it is humble to remind us of these great leaders, and it is fair that the LF remind us that it is born from these historic personalities.

Rima thanks I think if we can make Hezbollah weak the Chi3a have a lot of patriotism but today they are controlled by Iran, I think in time they will change like the Sunni. I hope this happens soon before Hezbollah revive the Salafiyin to oppose them, when you have one group of fanatic it encourages other groups to become fanatical, but for some reason (Iranian money) the FPM don’t see it!

Kezballah: I respect your opinion as one of your own, I sympathize and respect what both LF and Aounieh stand for regardless of the heads of the organization throughout their history.
But
I have a suggestion to most of the readers and you, try to read more history, from 1840 till today, you will be enlightened to many stuff that we take for granted and assume they are right and just. Most of our sources are our parents or book or relatives or friends.
I am a supporter of March 14 but none of its member parties or leaders.
For me March 14, the day, and what it had achieved is a far sacred and just.
Our history is full of attempts by leaders to take over the country in many names, sometimes in the name of their sect, sometimes their religion, sometimes in their social class, sometimes in their origins and sometimes in the name of defending the community they belonged too.
There are so many books that have been written and some of the American, French, Russian and British reports have been declassified and its very interesting to read.
I am not attacking anyone, I am just advising to everyone to read history, but from a different perspective or point of view.

fad14 thanks I respect your opinion too I agree with you no leaders are perfect and I don’t mean to say it like this, but certainly there is a big difference between someone who give his life for his country and someone who send his troops to die and he runs away. I support a political program not a person but in all the world the leader makes a big difference in getting the program done.

17. Bush | August 31st, 2008 at 10:53 pm
i think the Lf website people realized the controversy behind putting Jesus and Mary pic and took it off
18. kezballah | September 1st, 2008 at 3:58 pm
Bush yes you are right today I noticed the same thing on the road from Jounie to Achrafie there is no posters of Jesus and Mary anymore they replace them all with the other politicians. This is good for the LF if they are listening to the feedback of people.
