This is funny alright… though I think its kind of arrogant and contains unnecessary bashing on some points…
2. Darko | February 22nd, 2007 at 9:36 pm
so most of the 100 reasons are that you hate muslims and everything related to muslim culture (since most of things you said don’t apply only to shiaa, they also apply to sunni), and because you hate syria and adore the US. i always give this site a chance, of maybe putting something decent where we can actually have an intellectual discussion, and sometimes you do have things like that, but most of the time, you crap like that, what a waste of webspace and bandwidth
3. Battal Agha | February 22nd, 2007 at 10:08 pm

Why the hell some of you like it so much? For example I hate F.R.I.E.N.D.S, I go to Champville (its my last year:P), I don’t wear Prada, Gucci, Dolce and Gabbana, Ghinwa Jalloul is nowhere near cute, Condoliza Rice isn’t hot at all, Star Academy and Project Fashion is dumb crap I don’t give a shit about as well.
Not only this is a way of saying you’re rich and they’re poor just like Ramzi said, you’re also mocking Islam. Plus more than half of things on this list also applies to FPM members…
14 March is about principles and beliefs, not about fashion, donuts or being a snob.

Shame on you, children! This is the sort of thing that gives our Lebanon the bad name it deserves. This is the sort fo self-obsessed, self-righteous, moronic, childish, arrogant and racist nonsense that can only be called one thing: Phoenician. So you want to be French but everyday have to live with the shame of being Arabs, and then ridicule others to make yourselves feel better. I pity you and your murderous, ignorant, hypocritical leaders. Good luck with building a revolution wearing Prada and being able to afford deodorant–morons!

i’m not lebanese & i dont know much about the march 14 movement, I have been sent this link by a lebanese friend..only thing i see, if this is what u guys stands for its has, quite simply, RACISM written all over it, in ever sense of the word

It is the best 100 reasons to describe the 14th of the month. I wish you can publish it on each and every American and European web site and news papers to show the world the way you think and behave.
21. nasser | February 23rd, 2007 at 10:49 pm
whoever wrote this is a disgusting piece of shit racist, and you are making htings worse in Lebanon.
22. cremino lover | February 23rd, 2007 at 10:55 pm
You forgot this:
We are racist , facist and celebrate “black saturday”
and proud of it
Not to forget you also celebrate the Sabra and Chatila massacres with Champagne
23. Sammy | February 23rd, 2007 at 10:57 pm
Why blue ,red and white? Our national flag is red white and green unless we’re becoming the 51st state. I would not advise it though, Arabs are not that popular in the states and you can tell them we are Phoenician till next decade but guess what? It will not work
24. Mo | February 23rd, 2007 at 10:58 pm
1.You hated them for 30 years and did fuck all about it. It was the Americans that got them out.
2.LOL….Geagea and Jumblatt were never at war were they….not even while they were slaughtering each others people. Oh and I guess nothing happened between 75 and 91.
3.Downtown Beirut(Before the war)
4.Pathetic
5.You are only proving how shallow you are. This may be a surprise to you but there are somethings more important than fashion labels.
6.Tell that to the Children murdered on the highway to Trablous.
7.And use govt. money to pay for 10.
8.And I thought it was Kaslik.
9. If you love America that much, go live there.
10…. Actually I can’t be bothered to go on. Its people like you and attitudes like that that will keep the Arabs and the Arab world divided and easily conquered. Enjoy the world you are building for you will have to live with it.
25. Joseph | February 23rd, 2007 at 11:00 pm
Shame on you for being racist and classist….
26. Freaky | February 23rd, 2007 at 11:28 pm
Ya Kennedy?
mnallak kell hal hadameh?
I bet you languish in poverty, and until very recently, thought Prada was a Slovene car. You must share most attributes (poverty stricken, …) than the people you mock, and yet you find it easy to dissociate with your poor fellow lebanese, just because they are Muslims.
You bored us to death with your clenliness, but I bet you, you’re one great big GOAT from Kessrwen, land of dung and bigotry.
Oh, there is so much you can easily write, but so little to show for. And as we say in America (yes ya khrino, America) You talk the talk … and then talk some more.
Actually, we’d rather YOU LEAVE Lebanon and come and join us in America: I bet you, there are plenty of worthy Muslim and Christian Lebanese who would use your vacant space. BUT THEY WOULD HAVE TO DELOUSE, EXTERMINATE AND SPRAY WITH LYSOL.
Schmuck.
27. Prada Guy | February 23rd, 2007 at 11:30 pm
They know prada in Lebanon?? That’s news to me!!
28. slick lover | February 23rd, 2007 at 11:52 pm
So it’s not because you want to find out the truth? I knew it all along. Because if you did, you would also demand from your ‘friend’ i.e. USA and ‘Neighbour’ i.e. israel to tell bramertz to reveal the 20 countries whom didn’t co-operate with the investigation. Bramertz stressed that syria and iran were not included in the list - america and ‘our sister country’ - france blocked his freedom of saying who those 20 countries were.
29. Sasa | February 24th, 2007 at 12:31 am
You love March 14 because you wear Prada, Gucci and Dolce and Gabbana. That says it all really.
30. Kenndey's Unconscious | February 24th, 2007 at 12:34 am
Because you have 100 doubts that you love Lebanon, you created 100 reasons to prove to yourself that you love it.
31. Cool | February 24th, 2007 at 12:54 am
“73.ni7na kteer cool”
Pretty much sums up the nauseating personality of this SOB.
The irony is that the Americans, whom he is slaving hard to impress, would puke at the sight of this retarded bastard.
32. HAHA | February 24th, 2007 at 1:46 am
I get this sense that some of the comments are written by a very pissed off (ONE) person. I wonder if I’m right moderator. However some criticizing the article offer very valid points.
I don’t agree with some of the points, they are arrogant, but gosh all in all the it’s quite funny.
33. J | February 24th, 2007 at 1:50 am
you people are so hateful and bigoted. reading this just made me feel very ashamed to be lebanese.
34. Hassan | February 24th, 2007 at 2:15 am
This is one of the reasons I’m so ashamed to tell people I came from Lebanon. I have nothing in common with racist idiotes who think that civilization is watching Friends or being an embassy dog. Your Lebanon was never a country and will never be a contry as long as fags like you think they are superior. The tragedy is that you have no clue how retarded and backward people like you are.
35. Delta | February 24th, 2007 at 3:11 am

36. el saddem | February 24th, 2007 at 4:22 am
well youth of lebanon this bring tears to my eye to see the way you all growing up with hatred and racasim. this is why lebanon will never get back on its feet because most of the new generation are racist and follow leaders who brain wash their brains. unite muslims and christians together to build this beautifl country called lebanon . i was proud to see the way all lebanese stood hand by hand on the first 14th of march and i thought we were going to be an example to the world . but now i must say i am ashamed to say i am lebanese seeing the way you are attacking each other and for what? for some poletician to get richer and fatter . go on you bunch of sheep follow them and walk behind them watching their asses instead of watching out for this small but great country . remember our grandfathers they united to get this country where it is and now you distroying it with your hatred and stupidty . lebanon for all 10452km for all christians and muslims. wake up you bunch of racist wake up before it is 2 late
37. Shibli Tahlani | February 24th, 2007 at 4:35 am

42. CellophaneSIX | February 24th, 2007 at 8:58 am
Finally I see that some people agree with me, cause the first comments were really insane.
For God’s sake Kennedy what the hell were you thinking man?
This post should be removed from this blog cause it gives it a bad name, it gives the Lebanese Forces a bad name, it gives 14 March a bad name and it gives Lebanon a bad name.
43. N10452 | February 24th, 2007 at 8:59 am
People, what does this post has to do with RACISM !!
What is so racist about saying we wear Prada or Gucci ?? I dont care whether its insulting or not, it is a big insult to call people racist and i urge those posting to take it back.
We do not tolerate Racist posts and we will never do.
Added to that, how is that degrading to Muslims ?
Who mentioned Islam in this whole post ? If this culture we have is related to a certain religion, that doesnt mean you are attacking this religion, so calm down and comment rationally.
It was probably a forward message Kennedy got, either enjoy it or say u didnt like it, if you think its that bad, dont reply with insulting disrespectful and retarded comments, because then you would be proving him right.
44. Khoury Hanna | February 24th, 2007 at 9:01 am
My ancestors immigrated to the USA from the Qadisha, Tripoli and Baskinta 120 years ago, and now I know why. To make such culturally condescending, racist comments about your own countrymen, Muslims in particular, including those that fervently have provided support Lebanese independence and freedom from Syrian dominance is grotesque and tragic. To my ancestral Christian brothers and sisters, I hope you can find the necessary strength and humility to overcome your bitterness and reach out to those in the Muslim community you ridicule with such callousness. If you cannot set an enlightened example, what behavior can you expect from those you dismiss with distain?
45. Tarek | February 24th, 2007 at 9:58 am
I don’t know if you are below 15 years old or not, who ever wrote that is a disgusting “human being”.
46. dany | February 24th, 2007 at 10:22 am
From what I understood from this joke(yes
it’s a joke, so lighten up people) is that it does not make fun of muslims. It makes fun of all the 8th of March. It mentions indirectly hisbulla (muslims) and directly Michel Aoun (the shame of the christians), Emile Lahoud (the even bigger shame) and wi’am wahhab (Druze). So basically it is a kind of wehdeh wattaniyyeh that everybody is preaching for. For all those that are commenting from the States. You are lucky people. You can sit there and say whatever you want about equality and anti racism but you didn’t see what we saw, and you didn’t go through what we went through. If you’re in America you say I am american. I went and toured America. I drove from LA to Miami. I went to New Orleans. I went to New York Boston and DC. Everytime I said I am lebanese, do you know what they remembered?? Guess. The Marines bombing. Who did that by the way? And who celebrates that? HISBULLA. I am maronite and I disagree with all acts of terrorism and suicide bombings. Do you want me to stand there and say that I am similar to those people who committed that crime or try to show my true self which is very different. I refuse to be put in the same basket as people whose values are murder and suicide and I try my best to show how different I am. Not because I hate my country and fellow lebanese, it is because my values and the values of many others are different. This is why Lebanon will never be united. Because of the difference of values not because we hate each other. Try to find a common point between a guy whose purpose on earth who wants to kill himself to go to heaven and someone who wants to live happily with his TWO kids and give them a good education. I am fed up of being judged by others values just because I am from the same country. I refuse to be mixed up or confused with Hisbulla. It is my job and everybody’s job to show that there are other people in this country who just want to live peacefully and happily and that there are people who value life.
For those who mentioned Sabra and Chatila, remember one thing. Remember Damour. Remember that the palestinians were guests who took advantage of our hospitality. They had checkpoints in our towns and villages. My father was in the lebanese army and he was arrested on a palestinian checkpoint in Lebanon. Go to the south and ask about the attrocities caused by them. They massacred villages. So, when someone sends a joke about someone else, look at it as a joke and send one in return. It is not a crime to laugh…

I’ve read the post quite a few times and i really cant see the fanatical racism that you are all talking about! It’s just a joke (thats not really funny) for Godsakes! Anyways I hope that all the readers and viewers know that this is just a blog and that it does not have any relation with the LF as an organization (It still has the link to the unofficial LF forum which still states that it is the official one). It just expresses the opinion of one person, who obviously has a different opinion than that of the LF and that of the March 14 forces.
49. N10452 | February 24th, 2007 at 1:49 pm
John,
This site and the official lebanese-forces.org are expressing what the LF should be doing today.
What is happening today is that the LF is becoming the opinion of one person.
50. gemini | February 24th, 2007 at 3:53 pm
Drifter what did u post those replies for? loool what a waste of time. i dont see any sense or logic in them.. :-s for all those who took this too personal, chill..its just a joke piece. since when did u become so sensitive. stop behaving as if you dont make jokes of the other side yourselves! besides, pls, we dont practice dictatorship on this site ok? we believe in freedom of speech. so do the same on your site ( thats if you can be that creative
) and quit pocking your noses into this site. i dont understand why u keep comin back if u hate it…. big up kennedy
51. Mo | February 24th, 2007 at 4:15 pm
Dany,
“The Marines bombing. Who did that by the way? And who celebrates that? HISBULLA. I am maronite and I disagree with all acts of terrorism and suicide bombings.”
Your are either too young to remember or have a selective memory. What were the marines doing in Lebanon? What were US warships doing before the act? Ask Jumblatt if he remembers because the Chouf were one of the areas they were bombing indiscriminately. Why do you oppose the value of self respect and honour? If you love Lebanon, why do you know what was done to the Americans and not was done by the Americans against the Lebanese? Yes the Palestinians commited a lot of crimes against the Lebanese. Like your father I was taken away and threatened at a Palestinian checkpoint. All that does not make the atrocities of Sabra and Chatilla any less of a major crime against humanity and doesn’t make the person who commited that crime any less of a criminal.
52. Mo | February 24th, 2007 at 4:56 pm
gemini,
If you want to be free to say whatever you want to say, you also have to accept the responsibility of backing up what you say. This may have been a joke but the situation in our country is not and this list has been going around for a while, and it causes anger. If you and anyone else from both sides wish to enter into this level of conversation, then the country will never the progress.
Nevertheless, I am very impressed that, considering the responses are moderated, that the responses that have been made are published.
53. Alice | February 24th, 2007 at 4:58 pm
I’m just appalled at the callous stupidity of the person who wrote this list. I always did wonder who supported the “March 14 Movement”, and why.
Now I know: people who’d rather sell their country to America and Israel than be men, hoping for maybe some second-hand Prada or Gucci as a reward for being a good doggie.
What kind of a Lebanese reserves all their hate for people who sacrificed everything to defend their country from foreign aggressors, and says NOT ONE WORD against the monsters who rained bombs, uranium-enriched weapons, and millions of cluster bombs, in an attack that had been planned for at least one year, all over Lebanon? Who killed your children? Who stole your water, and still dream of stealing your land?
You love “the blue red and white”? Did you love them when they were painted on the thousands of missiles that were destroying your country?
Did you love them when they were on the flag that was flying behind Condaleezza Rice, as she told the world that the slaughter of children at Qana was “the birth-pangs of the new Middle East” and that the time was not yet right for a cease-fire?
Or were you too busy lusting after her, you idiot?
Pathetic.
4. We believe in deodorant
There’s only so much that deodorant can hide.
54. dany | February 24th, 2007 at 5:19 pm
I remember clearly the marines bombings and it is this bombing that is still causing us a lot of headaches. It is this bombing in the 80s that put us on the black list for visas and everything else. The presence of the marines in Lebanon falls in the same category as the presence of the syrians palestinians and israelis. Do you know that suicide bombing became a trend after the marines bombing. What gives a palestinian the right to stop me or you or anyone at a checkpoint in lebanon? What gives him the right to massacre christian villages in the south? What gives him the right to free his land from my and your land? I really don’t care less about israel or palestine. They can kill each other all they want. Call it racism, call it whatever.
The criminal behind sabra w chatila is now dead. And the other one is in a coma. I wasn’t condoning the act, but people always forget the reasons behind it and what happened before. They look at it as an attack that just happened. There is a history and people forget and only condemn sabra w chatila.
As I said in my previous post, I do not support the culture of death. I support the way of the words and not the sword. What started all this was a joke that reflects maybe the opinion of 0.1% of LFers or christians, but the chanting of Na3iman ya joubran, and the celebrations when Pierre Gemayel died are a lot sicker and were displayed in the streets of Lebanon, unfortunately by some FPMers as well who seem to forget that Joubran was the one campaigning for Aoun in 89 and 90…
55. djuan | February 24th, 2007 at 7:35 pm
to DANY ; unfortunately by some FPMers as well who seem to forget that Joubran was the one campaigning for Aoun in 89 and 90…
I just dont think so, when the fpmers reacted with an unhibited attitude on jubran’s death? the criminal behind sabra and chatilla is dead but , the followers still alive , mmm? and ready to attack

And here are the additional reasons
101) We don’t claim our parties are “divine” (7izb 2ilahi)
102) We don’t hate people and curse them just because of their names (Omar, Othman or Abu Bakr)
103) Because none of our leaders dominates the other
104) Because our leaders don’t wear orange from hat to toes looking like ridiculous clowns
105) Never have our supporters or our leaders insulted the Patriarch (aounists in the late 80s and slaymen frangie lately)
106) Because even those of us who may not be rich are decent and aren’t nawar by instinct
107) Because we do not fancy destroying cars
108) We know that wheels are for transportation not for suffocation
109) Because if we can’t fight Israel anymore, we don’t fight other Lebanese
110) Because we don’t enjoy living in Dubai then support the destruction of our own country
111) Because our allies never claimed they want to “Erase a country from the map”!
112) Because we don’t enter in a loosing war
113) Because emile la7houd talks english like Borat
114) Because we want to bring Shakira back to Lebanon not send Fairuz out
115) Because those who joined the group have been fighting to show whom loves 14th of march more
116) Our men don’t grow their little fingers’ nails so disgustingly
117) Because on 14th of March 1985, Eva Angelina was born (check wikipedia)!
118) Because on 8th of March 720 B.C., the ancient greeks declared Satan was born!
119) Because our revolution was called the “Cedar revolution” not the “tchador uprising”
120) Because Michel Aoun left us (thank God)
121) Because our alliance is honest, true and solid under one moto: “Lebanon first” not a one-side, one-sect dominating alliance
122) Because Muslims went to Martyr Pierre Gemayel’s funeral and Christians marched behind Martyr Rafic Hariri during his funeral
123) Because our Muslims celebrate Christmas and our Christians celebrate Al-Ad7a
124) Because our T.V. channels don’t entertain their audience with syrian series
125) Because the members of this group are of all sects, are fun, classy and open-minded
126) Because it’s not forbidden to open Clubs and pubs in all our regions (7amra, Gemmayzeh, Down Town, Kaslik)
127) Because we didn’t offend clubbers while protesting (Taboo)
128) Because min fish khili2na 3al internet mish 3al sheri3
129) Because we WANT TO LIVE
130) Because our PM is on good terms with the international community, unlike their president, who is unrecognized internationally.
131) Because, should we ever decide to wage a war,(which we would never do) we promise to at least, let the other politicians know. We don’t believe in the element of surprise!
132) Because our movement was spontaneous, motivated by grief and a desire for democracy and freedom not planned and prepared and motivated by desire for domination
133) Because our politicans can pronounce “Feltman”
134) Because no sane person can find as much reasons not to support 14th of march
135) Because half the 12th July supporters (also self-called “mou3arada” or 8th of march or 1 december) who go to clubs, drink and dance and buy “Amreecan” goods and watch “Zionists, imperialist” movies don’t realize yet that Hezbollah’s first aim is to create a Shiite-republic in Lebanon (Iran2: the sequel) which would simply ruin their current life style (The same life style we’re protecting)
136) Because njoum el dohor 2a2rab la michel aoun min kerse el joumhouriye
137) Because pantalon 2abbe 5ane2 is no longer stylish for men, fa keef for women???
138) We think shoes are better than masheye (for men at least)
139) Because perfume is better than the “natural scent of body odor”
140) Because we don’t build towers near the airport, then ask why did the airplane enter through our balcony?
141) We prefer sleeping in our houses not in tents
142) Because we believe in swimming suits or else we don’t go to the beach wearing pants and under-shirts
143) Because we know our leaders aren’t Gods
144) Because we listen to music for entertainment not to someone screaming in a “khitab”
145) Because it wasn’t us who made Armin Van Buuren cancel his concert… TWICE!!!!
146) Streeda Ja3ja3
147) Our ladies don’t grow moustaches
148) Fouad Siniora, our free PM
149) Marcel ghanem (not imad marmar)
150) Nayla Moua3awwad is funny when she gets mad
151) Talal Irslan is gay (For God’s sake he shaves his legs!)
152) Saad Hariri is Rafic Hariri’s son
153) Rafic Hariri (God bless his soul)
154) Condoleezza Rice is hot, Larigani is not
155) Ouza3i smells like shit
156) Our cameras don’t zoom in

Sorry N10452, but I have to tell you that lebanese-forces.com is the one and only official website for the LF, whether you like it or not. Actions like yours and of the creators and benefactors of the many so-called ‘official’ LF websites are indirectly taking a hand in dividing the LF and making the LF a one-man (led by one persons opinion) organization. I do partially agree with you on the point that the LF is becoming the opinion of one person, however I believe that this mans opinion is far more logical and reasonable than most of the rest. The way I see it is that we should give Hakim a chance. He obviously has a plan, which you may or may not agree with, so let’s see what comes out of it. You are free to express your opinions in the official forum and on this blog (which I really like and respect a lot) without supporting unofficial websites.
How do you know what the LF should be doing today?! If you do not agree with him, creating and supporting websites and labeling them as ‘official LF’ websites is not the solution. Why does the LF ALWAYS have to be divided, even in the smallest things? Is it that hard to have a single official website?!? I think not. Seeing and reading many of the posts in this blog show that what you might think the LF should be doing nowadays is way off track.

I blame all Lebanese for not being able to live together. Why don’t you all split the country between each other and live as you please. What disgusts me is all the Bombs that were dropped in your Beloved Country were Made in U S A and yet you seem to want them to control your country which goes to show how Stupid un-educated you and your leaders are, not saying I would want Iran or Syria to control a country I was living in. Why can’t you Lebanese control your own country train your army so it can control your borders and protect your country. I think the sad thing about it is that none of you really study History I figured this out why don’t you study the history of your country and of the USA and Isreal and of Iran and Syria and any other country you Lebanese want to run your country. The Hezbolla Guerilla’s from watching the news did pretty good against the Isreali army with the American Weapons, I think if the March 8 Movement wanted to take over this little country I doubt anyone can stop them and I am surprised they have not taken over this little country not to say it would be better, I personally think I would rather Live in hell then live in Lebanon. The only advice I can tell you is I wish a Big Tsunami Destroy’s Lebanon and then see what your reactions would be I mean that is the best wish I can give some of you Lebanese. Anyhow, here is some more History for your Brains.
True Facts!
- Syria entered Lebanon with the push from the USA to help save the Christians from killing each other and the other factions from driving most of the Christians out of Lebanon. If it weren’t for the Syrian’s I think most Lebanese Christians would be scattered around the world.
-Sa’ad Hariri : Some politician I am willing to make a bet this Kid uses one or more Drug several times a week. I just hope he speaks Arabic in a more educated way than English because I have watched several interviews this kid is just a puppet. Feel sorry for the Followers of this kid.
President Bush: Not only a heavy Marijuana Smoker and Drinker, also has a 25 % share in Texaco along with other Saudi’s in the United States ohh yah one of those Saudi’s happens to be Osama Bin Laden. What a leader I would want to follow.
Prime Minister Fuad Saniora: I mean what country can except a grown man and leader of a country cry infront of the World what a pussy (excuse my Language). I mean it is sick, also let us study his history, He controls the Hariri Banks and Finance’s he was part of the Rafik Hariri Group that left your country 42 Billion Dollars in Debt and you guys love this guy I mean you Lebanese are idiots. Most of the soft loans from Paris 3 are to pay back Loans from the Hariri Banks doesn’t that sound Fishy I mean if you people don’t believe me research and you will see. Israel hoping to rescue Sanyurah.
“Samir Ja`ja` (pronounced Ga`ga` in Egyptian accent) gave an interview to Al-Balad newspaper. This leader of the Lebanese Forces (the right-wing, fascist militia group–the death squads of Lebanon) said that he (as an expert on “civilization”–he was really a specialist in “civilized” car bombs, torture techniques, assassinations, extortions, sectarian warfare, etc) can’t say that the opposition demonstrators in Beirut are “civilized” because they are leaving trash behind. He said that when he sent car bombs all around Lebanon he always picked up his trash.”
-Seems to me I can picture the Lebanese People bending over and taking it in the Anal. And when it is all over Smiling and supporting the person who just stuck it up their Anal.
Rest In Peace Joseph Samahah
You Wont have to go through any more hell in Lebanon!

John,
The official sites issue is being handled with Hakim, the lebanese-forces.org dispatched a letter to Hakim and whenever he has time to read it ( its been over a year i think), then let him judge and tell us what to do, 2awta min hek no one is credible to talk about official sites except the lebanese-forces.org and its administrators.
The LF was never one person’s opinion and was never an end by itself, and if u agree on my view and accept it as a fact, then you are violating every single principle the LF was built on.
The LF has no plan, no structure, no nothing !!
If you want to get in the LF today, there is no structure or ranks and no political program ..
What sort of political party is that ? definitly not the LF i believe in and definitly not Samir Geagea that i know.
I will express myself anywhere i want, and on the respectable LF forums, not ones that insult other LFers and call them names and issue lawsuits against them.
Stop telling me about creating other official site, the lf-org existed since 11 years !!!
Anyway i wont argue on that point again, since i told u the solution is in the hands of Hakim and only Hakim.
“Seeing and reading many of the posts in this blog show that what you might think the LF should be doing nowadays is way off track.”
We are definitly not on the right track.

am not generalizing…a lot of Fmers and LFers are my brothers were I live now but khaleek 3ala neeyetak and hope u r right….
what i meant by eliminate by force is through undemocratic ways..means violence, means the day of Pierre Gemayel assasination FPM offices were burned and targetted, means that everyday there is an attack on FPM office, means what happened to FPMers on the 23 of Jan….am not talking about old history…..

The official sites issue has been handled a while ago, so i guess that issue is over and done with (you dont have to get so emotional!). I’m sure your work over the past 11 yrs is appreciated (i fope so!) lebanese-forces.com is the official website and thats that. I told you before i dont like how the LF is starting to become a one persons point of view. However, with the current circumstances, we have no other choice. The LF is CONSTANTLY being attacked (especially by our Christian ‘brothers’, for example look at that guy venom with all the nonsense comments bringing up things from the past because he has no current arguments) which is just making things harder and harder to improve. Unfortunatly, there are many ppl that fall for the cheap propaganda we see everyday.
The LF has no plan, no structure, ‘no nothing’ because it has been banned for over 11 years! What do you expect Geagea to do!?! Magic?! In less than a year look at how much the LF has improved (although you may not agree with me), i mean look at university election results, look at numbers attending the demonstrations, look at the unions elections results… A year ago, the LF was less than half of what it is today, and even Aoun has declared that himself (his famous statement after the Black Tuesday when he said that Christians cannot be governed by one person, contradicting his actions and words over the past year and a half).
I recently found out (inside info) that Hakim has started to re-open connections with old LFer’s which is a great move (Toufic Hindi is one of them, Rashid Rahme…). Soon there should be a meeting between them all. There are many positive signs but it just needs some time. BTW in a couple of months there will be a new manifesto and the whole organization of LF will be ‘refreshed’. I hope this clarifies at least some of the pts.
It would be great if we can communicate with each other without posting our ideas as comments!!

Too All LEBANON ….. Think about your future and the future of the children you have wether your own children or Cousins or Friends.
I think whil you consider the Future think about what you can do to help make the Future of your children better than the future the looks ahead of you considering the situation in Lebanon.
I Wish you All Good Luck and the only answer is for you all to be ONE against ALL outsiders and this way maybe you can Live together and prosper…
Move Forward…
*** True Fact… Very Interesting Point
MARWAN HAMADE
The MTC and ALFA Cellular service that the current government is trying to sell for $ 5 to 6 Billion to reduce the countries Debt lets say 6 Billion
Now Consider the $ 42 Billion Debt interest per year at 8 % is a total Interest of
$ 3360000000, or 3.36 billion paid every year.
Now deduct $ 6 Billion from the Sale of the Cellular Industry from $ 42 Billion you have a Debt of $ 36 Billion. Now the Interest of $ 36 Billion at 8 % is $ 2880000000 or 2.88 Billion now the difference from 3.36 - 2.88 = 480 Million less Interest Paid per year.
The Alfa and MTC Services Averaged 900 Million Dollars Per year PRofit for the Government. The Companies that run ALFA and MTC recieve 48 Million per year to Run the Two Cellular Services also Lets deduct an additional other expenses of 52 million. That leaves the Lebanese Government with 800 Million Per Year.
My point the amount of interest you will save from selling these Cellular services is less then the amount you Net Profit per year so the obviouse thing is selling the service will not help at all it will make it harder for the Lebanese Government to Make up for the Loss of a great source of Income for your country.
Dont Do It…
If the Lebanese Government sells the Mobile Licenses I can’t wait to see who are going to be the “Poloticians” or “Kings” etc.. buying a money making machine.

John, from what i am saying the issue is way from being resolved concerning the official sites and this is not an official site issue anymore ..
It is a matter of where the LF is going, of what the LF line our martyrs died for became ..
I am impatiently waiting for the New manifesto, and i have three red lines i hope Hakim wont remove because he will lose a lot of LFers, the quality LFers and not the masses ..
Federalism is our project and it will remain so.
The LF cross is our symbol and it will remain so.
Our martyrs are a red line and died for a cause the current LF is fading away from ..
John,
i have been talking ‘privatly’ for years, i have tried everything to keep this in private, however no one is listening, not even Hakim ..
We are gaining popularity true .. we are gaining the masses though, not the educated and elites that we had back in the 80s..

Ref item # 100: I am sure you love Lebanon, but you love (your) Lebanon, not the Lebanon that others, many others, perhaps numbering more than you, know and prefer. They, of course also love Lebanon, but their Lebanon, not the one you know and orefer. Cheers

This must be the least intellectually challenging piece of work I have seen in ages. SO you despise everything that has a connection with the Arab culture and you loathe after the modern western society based on massive consumption. Fair enough. The city of Tripoli have massive shopping centres. I bet it is not sophisticated enough for you even if many of your followers were there. It is people like you (whoever put this site together) that drove me out of Lebanon. For the third time by the way. I’m very happy in Spain. It’s amazing how similar we are. Only difference is that even strongly opinionated people here still find the time and the effort to express themselves without the need for discrimination or verbal assault. Cheers.
