Anger and satire on the Lebanese blogsphere

Posted by Eiffel

For the past two years, there has been a clear dichotomy of haters in Lebanon. Those who hate March 14 and those who hate March 8.

There’s a third faction that we have ignored: those who hate them both.

The paroxysm of this hate is expressed in the following blog: I hate Lebanon and the people of Lebanon

It goes as far as hating Lebanon, its roots and its people.

Warning: Light hearted people, avoid going there. ;)

    Hmmmmmmmmmmm! Mixed feelings!

Not sure wether to laugh or get angry! I do, however agree on ceratin points but some of them are extreme.
I’m one of the people who is very proud of being Lebanese and wherever i travel i make sure that it’s known. What even flatters me, when foreigners tell me how much they love Lebanon. I know that the lebanese nowadays are not what they used to be as they are consumed with hatred, frustration and anger but deep inside we are good people.

Angry it is. Satire it is not.

It is a sign however of how fed up people are and where the current situation is leading.

Bloggers do not have anything left to say. Some of us are blogging less or no more.

This guy can only say FU, it feels good for a while but gets tired quickly.
