Explosion hits Iranian Bus in Syria

Thursday, December 3rd, 2009

Investigating a crime or a bombing in Syria is quite hilarious and i strongly recommend Hollywood producers to come up with a comic series about the Syrian regime.

Today, an explosion ripped through a bus carrying Iranian pilgrims in Syria’s Sayyida Zainab neighborhood on Thursday and Syrian Interior Minister Saeed Mohammad Sammour ruled out a terrorist attack.
It was also not immediately clear exactly how many people died in the blast which occurred Thursday morning. [More]

Now it is one thing to deny any terrorist allegations but a very different thing to give lame justifications.

The tyre blew and resulted in an explosions that killed three people. I have never heard of an exploding tyre to be honest :-)

Secondly,

The explosion coincided with a visit to Damascus by the head of Iranian National Security Council Saeed Jalili.

The Syrian minister of interior stated after the explosion that the Iranian National Security council was cancelled but denied any links with the bombing.

The #2 man in Syria got snipped in his boat few months ago, barely anyone heard about it.

Imad Moghnieh got bombed in Damascus more than a year ago, yet no investigation outcome was revealed.

And now an Iranian bus is blown to pieces and the reason is a flat tyre !

Afghan wife-starving law

Sunday, August 16th, 2009

An Afghan bill allowing a husband to starve his wife if she refuses to have sex has been published in the official gazette and become law.

The law has been backed by the hardline Shia cleric Ayatollah Mohseni, who is thought to have influence over the voting intentions of some Shias, who make up around 20 per cent of the population. Mr. Karzai has assiduously courted such minority leaders in the run up to next Thursday’s election, which is likely to be close, according to a poll released on Friday.

LEBANESE CHRISTIANS…WHATS NEXT?

Thursday, June 18th, 2009

Courage is what it takes to stand up and speak; courage is also what it takes to sit down and listen                           ~Winston Churchill~

The Christians of Lebanon are making an unprecedented exodus from the land in which their ancestors have lived since Christ taught here; we are known for our respect for other religions, and our approval of everything that goes in our Lebanon. Radical Islamic sects like Hezbollah have been driving the Lebanese Christians out of their homeland (recent prove, the “glorious victory” war against Israel in 2006) and their churches. The disrespect we are getting from our fellow –let’s say- brothers and sisters (Sunni and Shiia’s) has become highly threatening which I believe will lead us, all of the Christians into a disastrous ending, shall I say an ending which our true families in Iraq have been receiving.

Some of you may be wondering by now why have I mentioned the Sunni’s, our allies in this whole political institution; as you all know, Saed el Hariri and Jumblat will be meeting with Hassan Nassrallah in order to congratulate each other with big and warm hugs and kisses and off course to talk about politics and where do they see things going. So Saed el Hariri, Jumblat and Hassan Nassrallah will be talking about our future (and when I say our future, I mean the future of Lebanon, because the Lebanese Christians are the rock of Lebanon) and we (the Christians) are still fighting and cursing each other (obviously because some people follow that baboon of a leader called Michel Aoun).

The plot against Christianity and the Christians is very plain to see; let us start with Hezbollah and the FPM:

The true reason why Hezbollah allied with the FPM is not because they adore them, it is not because they are so grateful to them for standing with their degrading and diabolic ideology, it is not because they are afraid that Lebanon will witness another civil war, it is simply because they see Aoun and his allies as puppets; Hassan Nassrallah never took Aoun’s opinion about starting that devastating war, Hassan Nassrallah never took Aoun’s opinion to have his god damn hairy face on our cross, Hassan Nassrallah never took Aoun’s opinion about having a religious aria done for him in a church, Hassan Nasrallah never took Aoun’s opinion about keeping his black weapons…Aoun took Hassan Nassrallah’s opinion in keeping the devil’s weapons, Aoun took Hassan Nassrallah’s opinion at going to Syria and befriending his new buddies who murdered a lot of Lebanese Christians and a lot from his followers, Aoun took Hassan Nassrallah’s opinion about not having any Lebanese detainee in Syria, Aoun took Hassan Nassrallah’s opinion in letting go the murder of our beloved Samer Hanna, Aoun took Hassan Nassrallah’s opinion in becoming his little orange sheep.

 Moving on to our allies:

Saed el Hariri didn’t take our opinion in meeting with Hassan Nassrallah; Jumblat hasn’t been taking our opinions since long time ago (anyways, Jumblat isn’t even worth it, Druze have always been known for their blue blood and degrading mentality); No one took our opinion in voting for Berri all over again….

That’s how it all starts; with the little plots being made right under our noses and we letting it go or simply stroll in front of us without budging even our tiniest finger.

When are the Christians going to stand together once and for all?  When are we going to have a say to everything that has been and will be going on?  When will we stand up for our right? When will we be strong enough to stand against this whole Islamic movement thing that has been going on for centuries and still is? When will be able to decide for others than being decided for? When will we be able to go to Dahyie and claim it ours since it used to be the land of Christians (and if Hassan Nassrallah thinks that Jbeil and Kesserwan are for the muslims and that we the Christians came as “ghouzat” then he should start studying some historical facts and face the truth)…

So what is going to happen to the Lebanese Christians?

All Christians read this

I received an extremly long comment to my previous article DANGEROUS MINDS, i pasted just a small part of what i thought seems interesting, since our brothers from Hezbollah are known for being islamic fanatics and think that if they keep feeding us from their same bullshit then somehow we will start thinking that they are right. Here is the comment:

Interesting movie …

Not in my name!

Thursday, March 5th, 2009

Omar Bashir in a nutshell:

1) One of the worst dictators in the world.

2) A notorious human rights violation record.

3) Accused of committing crimes against humanity.

What do the LF have to say about that?

Sorry, but I for one, do not endorse in any way neither the Arab Summit’s decision nor the LF’s support for this decision and for this ruthless tyrant.

Oppressed…my foot….

Tuesday, January 20th, 2009

One thing that really doesn’t make sense when I hear Hizbullah/Amal Shiites talking is this insistence to use the “oppressed” adjective to talk about themselves…
And what’s worse, they will use it as an excuse to do anything they do from blocking roads with burning tires (in a democratic way of course), run a militia armed to the teeth, capable at anytime to start a destructive war without any regard to human life nor to the welfare of Lebanon, label whoever they wish as Israeli traitor and think that they can get away with it…
Well lets talk about this oppression for a while…maybe back in 6th and 7th centuries the Shiites were oppressed as they never were able to establish “ahel el beit” as leaders of the muslims and as such felt that they were denied their destiny…
Maybe Lebanese Shiites were treated as second class citizens between the 50s and the 70s… and I truly sympathize with them and feel grief for what they went through…
But then today, this is no longer true…If one was to do some digging, one would be surprised to find out that 66% of Government employees are HA/Amal Shiites and most of them do not even show up for work except to collect the end of month paycheck.
Furthermore, Hezbollah today is the most armed faction on the Lebanese scene with over 30,000 rockets and a huge military infrastructure.
Territories run by Hezbollah form a country within a country, with their own laws and regulations.
Taxes (electricity/water bills etc) are not paid by the inhabitants of this country within a country.
What’s worse, they run their own telecommunication network complete with cellular and fixed lines as well as international gateways… a rough calculation estimated that the international calls run by HA, yearly cause the Lebanese government to loose around a Billion Dollars…so in the last fifteen years when Syria was occupying Lebanon, had those fifteen billion dollars been collected by the Lebanese government, our national debt would not have reached the figures it currently boasts
And I am not talking about operations that are run outside Lebanon be it in diamond trade, gold, money laundering, drugs…YES DRUGS…for Hezbollah FULLY controls the Lebanese Bekaa valley, a land where opium and hashish have been traditionally grown for the last four or five decades…
And yet you will hear them nagging about how oppressed they are…and truly you will find most of them living in very harsh living conditions…blaming mostly “the others” for this state…
I mean, what really ticks me is where the hell is all this money going???
Instead of building bunkers to hide al sayyed and his men from Israeli bombs, wouldn’t it better and more suitable to build better homes for his people???
A trip through the airport highway is enough to show the abject living conditions people there are living in…
I mean instead of having thirty thousand plus rockets stocked in the mountains and underground, wouldn’t it be more humane to like provide those people with a better life style??? Or shelters in times of war??? in the last war, most of the casualties were CIVILIANS whereas HA leadership hid meters beneath the ground in well defended bunkers…
And for those who will claim that HA is providing for its people, I ask: at what cost????? At the cost of the life of one or more of the male family members who will go blow himself up in front of some imaginary enemy? I say imaginary while in my mind I recall the sad images of May 7th 2008 when Beirut was savagely attacked…but this is another story…
Again I ask: who is the oppressed here? And if they truly are, why the hell insist on accusing the others for their misery??
Why do they not see that it is their leaders who are causing this oppression to keep them as a fertile recruiting ground for fanatics
As I once said, what person who is well fed, well clothed, well educated would chose to go blow himself up???
Why do they not see the constant brainwashing that they are being subjected to day after day after day?
Take for example back in 2006…during the Israeli onslaught on Lebanon, Syria was working, under the table, on a peace agreement with the Olmert government…yet, to HA followers, it was Sanioura and his government who were labeled as Israeli agents…is this not brainwashing at its best???
Why do they not see for instance how their own MPs carry American nationalities? everyone remembers the scene of an Amal MP casting his vote at the US Embassy during the last presidential elections…and it is a well known fact that Nabih Berry possesses a number of Petrol Stations and other businesses in the USA
Hell this reminds me of how the father of speaker Kemil el Assad used to tell his people: why go to school? I am sending my son Kemil for all of you…
So lets cut this oppressed crap out of our vocabulary once and for all…and lets start talking some sense for the love of God…
Enough hypocrisy shall we???

Weapons hidden in a mosque

Sunday, January 11th, 2009

Hamas, the Islamist Movement, is hidding weapons in a mosque. How truly “Muslim” of them !

Now i ask you : What do you expect the IDF to do ?

Mahmoud Abbas surprisingly said something smart the other day, we want a resistance that protects our people, not harm our people, not that he is eligible for that, but he does make a very valid point.

Hanged for being a Christian in Iran

Saturday, October 25th, 2008

From The Telegraph:

Eighteen years ago, Rashin Soodmand’s father was hanged in Iran for converting to Christianity.  Now her brother is in a Mashad jail, and expects to be executed under new religious laws brought in this summer.

A month ago, the Iranian parliament voted in favour of a draft bill, entitled “Islamic Penal Code”, which would codify the death penalty for any male Iranian who leaves his Islamic faith. Women would get life imprisonment. The majority in favour of the new law was overwhelming: 196 votes for, with just seven against.

Extremism in North Lebanon is a Syrian story

Monday, October 6th, 2008

Last week, I had some discussions with many people who know well the area of Tripoli in particular and the Sunni areas in North of Lebanon in general, among them journalists and experts in Lebanese and Arab Politics from different religions.

And before saying what they’ve informed me, I would like to emphasis that none of them is a Hariri fan, in fact 2 of them were among the most severest opponents of the late Rafic Hariri, and they are so open minded in terms of religions, so they are nowhere close to being fanatics Sunnis.

What I want to say, and without going into details, is that what has being said these days about the extremists Sunnis in north Lebanon is anything but the truth, since those extremists are considered as an isolated case and are so few and represent no one on the Sunni political scene, and yet they are not armed and have nothing to do with Al Qaeda or other terrorist organizations.

This would take us to the reason why Syria and their allies in Lebanon (strangely Aounists on top) are promoting this idea, and why now?

In this regard, I think the answer for that is their desire to create a certain threat facing the Christians, only to have a balance with the threat coming from Hezbollah.

The elections are coming soon, and there have been a big shift in the Christian society towards the true Lebanese principles still being represented by the Christians of 14 March, despite many mistakes in implementation, after the Christians realized what kind of threat and danger Hezbollah and company are representing, and of course Aoun and his choices, so the Syrian wanted to create something that could change this curve and support Aoun once again, and at the same time find a way to return to Lebanon, whether military (and I doubt that), or politically through the elections’ results.

So in conclusion, there is no real Sunni threat in Lebanon, and what we saw on TV lately are all there is, unless people will keep on believing these stories of the OTV, Manar, Al-Akhbar, Syria’s Media and others, which will only help in consolidating the extremists’ case.

Believe me, I live in Kuwait where Islamists are very strong, I work with many of them, of course they have their own beliefs which in any case I don’t agree with, but they are still peaceful and not violent, and also the ones living in North Lebanon, or most of them at least, still are peaceful, and they can only become violent if they will feel threatened by Syria, Hezbollah or others.

Except that, the Future movement, and as I realized from the discussions I had, is still the strongest among Lebanese Sunnis who prefer to support the principle of non violence and moderation.

So Misguided…

Friday, September 26th, 2008

I saw this post on a site called “Yella Vote”

The post is an attempted rally called “ACTION ALERT: Unhealthy “Obsession

The article attempts to rally individuals to protest the showing of a movie which speaks out against radical islam.

La7za, Excuse me, I respect all aspects of a balanced election but “Unhealthy Obsession”?

Before you attempt to counter the importance of this film please ask yourself the following:
-Is radical Islam real – YES
-Have they declared war on the West (USA, Europe & the world) – YES
-Have they tried and are repeatedly trying to cause extreme harm – YES
-Have they taken tens of thousands of lives of innocent civilians – YES

We are most certainly in a war against radical Islam and that is undeniable.

So I challenge you, instead of writing and voicing opposition to a film that reminds people of the dangers of not being vigilant and steadfast in a war that is real, use your words and your voice in an effort with your fellow countrymen against those who are using Islam in a way that it was most certainly not intended.

We are a society, and a civilization, not a congregation.
Religion is a personal choice, not a national requirement.
Respect your religion and respect your countrymen alike and fight against those who do not.

Muslims and the people of the world alike fight in our armies, they fly on our planes, live in our cities and died in our towers.

So to the author, the readers and all Muslims, I challenge you…

I challenge you to join us in combating and ridding the world of the radical evils that slander your religion.

I challenge you to defend your countrymen and your religious fundamentals against those who will use any means to spread indiscriminant death and destruction.

But most importantly, I challenge you to remain focused and steadfast in this fight and not be distracted with petty posturing and calls for unnecessary opposition.

Love your God, your country and your neighbors.

Where will we draw the line?

Tuesday, September 16th, 2008

They control Christian towns in the South, they set up bases in Sannine, they have ’security blocks’ all over the place…  And now they are taking control of the heart of Christian Mount Lebanon!

The LBC had to get permission to film in JBEIL!!  Are you kidding me!?  We need permission to film in Jbeil?  I, for the life of me, cannot understand what Jbeil has to do with “resisting” Israel or why Hezbollah is permitted to have bases there.

A court clearly decided that the church belongs to the Church, yet Hezbollah still won’t give it up.  It appears that Hezbollah wants to turn over the key of the church to Aoun in a public ceremony of some kind to give him credit and show him as returning to the christians their rights.

Well maybe that prick Aoun and his Hezbollah friends should know that the key can –and will– only be returned to the Church.

If we as Christians don’t draw the line at this incident and say enough is enough, then who knows what’s next.  If Hezbollah doesn’t volontarily give back the Chruch, the we should take matters into our own hands.   Because if we don’t, we might as well abandon this land for good.

Is this Lebanon or Iraq ?

Sunday, August 10th, 2008

Salafists Jihadists were demonstrating 2 days ago asking for the liberation of their fellow Islamist brothers jailed in Roumieh. The demonstration was more of a show off and Sheikh Al Shahal ( head of the Salafists) was there personally surrounded by armed to the teeth jihadists.

Sunni majority MP Mustafa Alloush was invited to the protest but was attacked later on by the demonstrators themselves. Many of those demonstrators support or are members of the Fata7 el Islam movement and are still on the loose.

I have stated in several posts how dangerous are those groups, and how irresponsably Hariri is dealing with them by giving them more freedom. They might get him some extra votes in the elections, but those are disastrous on the long run and the first ones to pay the price will be the Christians of course.

For those who saw the protest on TV, i am sure you never thought for a second that was actually occuring in Lebanon, it was more of an Iraqi scene.

ya di3an hal balad :-)

7ezb el Te7reer .. 3 years now ..

Sunday, July 27th, 2008

3 years since the te7reer party was relaunched in Lebanon and no one has lifted one finger to ask for banning this party and stopping its political work.

Title of their 3rd annual conference :
Lebanon: From Sectarianism and Colonizers To The Islamic Republic of Lebanon!!

Even though this party has no real chance of expanding in the Arab surrounding countries ( all monarchies or military dictatorships who feel threatened by its existence), its role cannot be but destructive in Lebanon since it will provide a political cover for many jihadist & salafist movements.

An urgent appeal must be done by the Christian leaderships to put an end to this party’s activities and ban it once and for all, along with any party who doesnt recognize Lebanon as a finite country ( SSNP, Baath etc ..)

Turkey defies Islamists ..

Thursday, June 12th, 2008

Turkey’s top court has annulled a law allowing women to wear Islamic headscarves in universities on grounds it violates secularism, dealing a major blow to the ruling Islamist-rooted party. [ Read More ]

Turkey wants to defend its secular constitution and keeps its chances open to integrate the European Union and the last decision taken surely will help its case.

“It is a historic ruling… It has demonstrated that secularism is Turkey’s state ideology,” veteran politician and jurist Husamettin Cindoruk said.

It is quite astonishing how some parties want to ruin the great achievements of Ataturk who made of Turkey what it is today, a strong & secular state distinguished on all levels from all other Islamic countries in the region.

I truly hope the army will remain in power and keep abolishing any tries to change the constitution.

What should Hariri do ? ( continued)

Monday, June 9th, 2008

I was surprised to read some replies in my previous post , specially after the many posts i have dedicated to the Islamic groups growing in Lebanon and Hezbollah’s threat to Lebanon as a whole, and the resulting Sunnite-Shiite fight that is becoming clearer and more inevitable one day after the other.

First of all, i am totally AGAINST any new militias and i dont believe in the use of force, but i believe pragmatic solutions and in some circumstances, the use of force is unfortunatelly a need. When the Christians got armed in the 70s, it was to protect their community and defend the Christians & Lebanon from the invadors. Had we decided not to get armed, we would have been slaughtered and if lucky enough, deported.

Today, M14 are majorily responsible for getting us to this messed up situation, where political pressure is no more an option with Hezbollah. I blame M14 because i know Hezbollah cares less about Lebanon & Aoun has prostituted himself to Hezbollah and become useless, while M14 had the golden opportunity to isolate Hezbollah, strenghen themselves and benefit from international support to disarm Hezbollah politically or militarily.

Instead, compromise was the name of the game, and they emerged as the biggest losers, and mistake after mistake gave more power to Hezbollah and made the international community recalculate their cards.

You ask why dont we let the army do their role ?? When did the army do its job ever ?? ( except Nahr el Bared) .. The army will split the second it sides with any community ..
For those who are unaware, many Sunnite officers threatened to resign after the Beirut incidents, and Sleiman had to calm them and adjust their salaries and ranks in order to keep them.

Hariri & the Sunnites will never forget what happened, and they hate Hezbollah more than ever after the humiliation endured ( unlike what u think Arze), and tons of jihadists and extremists are starting to show up in the North & Beqaa.

I never advocated the use of violence and never will, but this is the sad reality nowadays. I already said Lebanon without its Christians is useless, and its Christians sadly enough are useless nowadays because they are following incompetent, selfish, power-seeking leaders with no vision nor plan for the future and will be the only victims of the Sunnite-Shiite clash locally & regionally.

Fath el Islam cover up starting to show ..

Wednesday, June 4th, 2008

There were many talks that Fath el Islam was giving a certain cover by the Saudi authorities, and reports spoke of many Saudis among the kills and arrested.

Assafir reported today that a Fath el Islam member was sent back to KSA on a private plane..

While Syria had the major role in arming them, a certain someone is sending us those jihadists and is uncapable of controlling them ( not even in his own country).

This is a bad start for Pr.Sleiman who was head of the army during the Nahr el Bared battle and who must out of respect for the brave army martyrs, let justice prevail and make sure it does.
