While hearing his speech today and any of his speeches, i feel this man is talking in another dimension, speaking as if he lived on another planet ..

Nothing is more annoying the Aounists & Hezbollah and other Opposition parties than the fact that the LFers refuse to get involved in the violent incidents …

Hezbollah & Tayyar media have been initimidating the LF since yesterday, and making up rumors about their presence in several spots, yet all news were denied by the LF ..

I warn them and assure them that the guys are all ready and waiting for any HA or Amal thug to put one foot in the Christian regions … and i assure them that they ll only be getting back in body bags if they try to cause trouble in our regions ..

Peace :-)

Them or us ..

“Each is fighting for their vision of the country. It’s an existential crisis over Lebanon’s future.” Nadim Shehadi

This quote resumes Hassan Nasrallah’s speech today, we cannot co-exist in this country. It is either a country ruled by Hezbollah or controlled by Hezbollah or its war and chaos.

Honestly, i dont see any other alternative than division or a federalized state.

It is sad but true.

Several demonstrations will be organized today ( in few hours) by the Opposition workers in several Lebanese regions, while political tensions are escalating on an hourly basis, specially after the last bold decisions taken by the government concerning Hezbollah ..

The demonstration is of course politically driven and The Opposition is trying to create chaos and has already sent several threats ..

What should M14 supporters do?
Go to work as if its a normal day.

What should M14 leaders do ?
Stay in control of their supporters.

What should the armed forces do ?
Arrest and beat anyone who tries to close roads of annoyg people passing by.

Hezbollah wants to unleash the gates of hell on Sanioura and Mufti Qabbani made it clear tonight Hezbollah crossed the line and the Sunnites will not stay silent !

This is turning into an ugly Shiite-Sunnite conflict that hopefully will not degenerate.
Sunnites are already starting to close roads tonight and tomorrow will be a heated day.

I was hoping for Hakim to go meet Aoun despite all differences and agree that there will be no Christian interference in this fight whatsoever … Aoun already was smart enough ( or most probably chickened out) and did not participate in today’s demo ..

Here are few excerpts from Qabbani’s speech few minutes ago:
8:51 Qabbani called on Hizbullah leaders to pull their armed men out of Beirut’s streets and its central district.
8:50 Lebanese Sunna are fed up with Hizbullah practices, Grand Mufti Qabbani said
8:48 Hizbullah is trying to overpower Lebanon, Qabbani added
8:47 Qabbani warned Hizbullah against attacking the Lebanese civilians and hegemony over the Lebanese state and governmental institutions
8:46 Hizbullah has become an armed force aims at occupying Beirut , Qabbani said

After the PEACEFUL UNARMED demonstration today, The Opposition threatens to start a civil disobedience in case the government doesnt back up …

Such a good joke !

An Opposition headed by an armed militia, that does not pay any bills, has its own police and army and telephonic network, that does not consider the government legal wants to start civil disobedience ..

This is a putch against the state, this is no civil disobedience and unless destroyed by force, it will destroy Lebanon eventually ..

Here is a small definition of what civil disobedience is :
Civil disobedience is the active refusal to obey certain laws, demands and commands of a government, or of an occupying power, without resorting to physical violence

Few pictures from the PEACEFUL, i repeat PEACEFUL demonstration organized today by supposebly workers, ironically no workers were able to get to the demonstration since Hezbollah blocked all roads since the early morning before starting their invasion ..

As expected, another ‘workers’ demonstartion turned into an HA armed assault on 14March regions and on public properties, however today’s demonstration was not just intended to show muscles, but Hezbollah is executing a pre-set plan to block the airport and even maybe invade it ..

Since the early morning, ‘peaceful’ demonstrators backed by armed Hezbollah & Amal militia men are trying to invade Sunnite regions in Beirut and take over Future Movement’s offices …

All sorts of light and heavy weapons are being used and the airport road is blocked totally and there are talks about tents being set there ..

Cabinet Approves Pay Raise, Removes Shqeir, Labels Hizbullah Telephone Network Illegal

The session, a historic one, ended at 4:30 am and its decisions were for once bold !
Hezbollah’s telephone network is illegal and Chouqeir, head of the airport security and close to Hezbollah was removed from his post.

The opposition started threatening and babbling but i am glad the government stayed on his decision, and tomorrow will be the first test for both sides ..
M14 should maintain order at any price and avoid clashes and silence the Opposition in the most democratic way possible .. The army here and Sleiman have a huge responsability too ..

One remark though, that Sejaan Azzi mentioned today and that i support 100%
He critisized the government’s decison of considering the HA network illegal saying they should consider HA illegal in the first place and change the “bayan wizari” once and for all ..

A private communication network, private monitoring and cameras network, private weapons and training facilities, private regions, etc …..

When will those Lebanese idiots who still cant see what Hezbollah is up to wake ?
When will this stupid Michel Aoun realize the damage he is doing ?

Funniest thing is that this network apparently is what made them win the July war …
I ask them again ? What victory ? Cause i only saw a disastrous war on Lebanon ..

Hizbullah said that an illegal telephone network the group had set up was part of the “resistance arms,” and warned the government and the ruling camp against messing with it.
“It is no secret that the resistance has a private communication network,” Hizbullah MP Hasan Fadlallah said.

I will not bother comment on any of his statements, they speak for themselves !!
Maybe he’s too old, maybe he lost it .. or maybe he never had it in the first place !

Read and laugh !

From Naharnet:

Free Patriotic Movement leader Michel Aoun called for demonstrations on Wednesday to topple Premier Fouad Saniora’s government, praised Hizbullah’s weapons and said monitoring Beirut airport is not a security violation.

Calls to elect a president prior to agreeing on a general elections law “be they made by secular or religious” circles are tantamount to “conspiring against the Christians and seeking to marginalize them.”
He was referring, among others, to Maronite Patriarch Nasrallah Sfeir who had repeatedly said electing a president is a priority.

Aoun also defended Hizbullah’s private communications network, claiming, “There are other private communications networks than Hizbullah’s.” He did not name them, however.

“Finding a camera on airport road is not a security penetration,” Aoun said.

Aoun defended Hizbullah’s activity in Kesrouan and Byblos (Jobeil) provinces, noting: “Lebanese Forces exist in Rmeish and Qleiaa (south Lebanon) and they move freely. Why Hizbullah shouldn’t move in Kesrouan and Byblos?” he asked.

Aoun launched a vehement attack on the leading daily an-Nahar claiming it has abandoned its “ethical principles and does not derserve to be read anymore. It has become a propaganda bulletin for March 14.”

He defended Hizbullah weapons as “subject to good conduct certificate.”

I just finished watching V for Vendetta and i was chatting with a friend afterwards on the upcoming election session and we got inspired and came up with a plan that March14 supporters should adopt in order to exercise some pressure on Christians Mps who are boycotting the sessions ..

The plan is very simple, let the people drag those Mps into the parliament and wait for them outside until they elect a president and let us have a calm summer !

Let groups of people peacefully surround every one of those MPs’ houses, ask them to go the parliament, escort them there and wait outside .. This is their job and they are getting paid to elect us a president ..

Michel el Murr has been organizing events to pressure them, but he just wants attention .. What we need is an increasing pressure from people who do care about their country, and not just want attention ..

Go Hekmeh !

As you all probably know, Hekmeh beat the Riyadi Club and then the Kuwaiti team in the Pan-Arab Championship being held in Jordan and booked a ticket to the final to play The Jordanian team Zein ( Known as Fastlink previously) tomorrow at 8:40 pm.

Buses will be available for all fans who wish to attend the game.

Place: Sagesse-Achrafieh
Date & Time: Tomorrow at 10 am.

I was informed that almost 200 fans are on their way to Jordan as we speak to cheer the Sagesse team.

Best of luck lal Hekmeh !

Reference to my previous post, where few people tried to justify that big mistake by saying we should all forgive .. i checked today and the article was removed from the site, silently and without any apology ..

We used to make fun of the Tayyar for hiding their mistakes that way, now we are doing the same …
Maybe its that quest of becoming like Tayyar.org that is making some even imitate their mistakes …

Shame.

I ask why …

I read your post, LJ and i couldnt refrain from replying in a new post …
You speak of ego, you speak of disrespect, you speak of official or non-official ..

I will ask you and everyone questions … and whenever i get a sincere answer, maybe then i will reconsider even considering this whole disrespect and loyalty issue to Dr.Geagea … because as far as i am concerned, we dont have an LF party nowadays, but a group of LFers following blindly Hakim ..

And that is not what i was looking forward to after Hakim got freed ..

I ask you ..and ALL my questions are related to posts i wrote earlier ..

Why is the LF today denying our identity and saying we are Arabs ??
Why is the LF today praising PSP’s history and forgetting the massacres they did to our people ??
Why Does Hakim have time to visit the Druze Sheikhs and not the Christian villages ( Kfarmatta, Brei7 etc ..) ??
Why does Hakim time to visit Jumblatt and no time to bring back the church bells from Mokhtara to their towns ??
Why didnt the “general reconciliation” ever happen ?
Why were the old officers and Ilige kept aside ?
Why is Al Massira boycotted still ?
Why is Antoine Najm out of the LF ? Why is Selmen Smeha out of the LF
Why Hakim never visited the Christian villages in the South ??
Why is the LF still a movement and not a democratic party ??
Why is the LF playing a secondary role wou btotla3 bi bouz el madfa3 everytime ?
Why are we more worried about the international tribunal and dont work 1% for our political prisoners in Syria ??
Why did Hakim reject Federalism ?? based on what right ??
Why are there still LFers outside Lebanon who cannot go back to their families ??

And finally :
What is our plan for the future ??

Patience is a virtue, but there are limits to everything .. and yesterday’s act was shameful and deserves a response ..

A harsh, but needed response.

I never imagined i would fight my own LF brother/sister , and i still refuse to do so, even if they behave like thugs and label other LFers as traitors and ignore all their sacrifices .. all in the name of what ??

The Cause ?? The Martyrs ??

Allah yer7am li meto .. wou Allah yer7am el Adiyye iza hek 3alam zo3ran 3am bidef3o 3anna ..

LF.Org Response to the “attempted” hack

Here is the reply anyone who did not see anything wrong in that statement deserves, specifically any Lfer !

A reply to Mr.Wissam el Kadi

Only in Lebanon, you can find drivers who decide to stop in the middle of the road, go down buy a chocolate or a drink, or maybe pay a visit and keep everyone behind them stuck ..

You can learn to enjoy it though, if you can hold your nerves and stay calm. It happened to me today, i just turned off my car and waited for the old man and his wife to put down their stuff before they cleared the way …

Only in Lebanon :-)

As much as i am against threatening anyone for any political stance he/she takes, this woman has no right whatsoever to defend neither herself nor her criminal husband !! Those officers were directly responsible for covering every single assassination the Syrians and their intelligence did, and even participated executing many of them !!

Those are not politicians ! Those are the ones who had the job done! Those are a danger to our society and any society and better stay locked up for good !

I hope she ll join her husband in prison very soon ! thats where she fits best!

Berri is trying to initiate new dialogue sessions between the Opposition & the March 14 alliance, the dialogue is first and foremost about the presidential elections ..

The Opposition kept Michel Aoun a its spokesman while M14 appointed Saad Hariri to speak on its behalf.

Despite my respect to Hariri, It is an issue dealing with the Maronite presidency and Samir Geagea as the M14 Christian leader should be the one in charge. Why Should Hakim have a secondary role in this manner and in many others ??

What really frustrates me is that a simple meeting between Aoun & Geagea will ease the tensions in the streets …
Why cant those two Christian leaders realize the damage being done to our society and to Lebanon and compromise for our sake ?

When will they realize their allies are pushing them to confront each others …

I miss the days when the LF had the initiative in every political move it was involved in..
