May God be with our lebanese compatriots in Syrian prisons …

May God be with our lebanese compatriots in Syrian prisons …

What a macabre and disturbing caricature to say the least !
How comforting it is to know our future is in the hands of such people ..

Few days or weeks from now, after destroying all of Gaza, some Hamas member comes out of his rat hole pretends Hamas resisted and life goes on.
Did Israel win ? Of course yes.
Did Hamas win ? Of course yes, it beat its own people and caused their death.

I remember during the Syrian rule, many would leave Lebanon for a better future but then eventually to come back in few years time. Very few people would just leave for the sake of leaving.
After the July war, hundreds of thousands of young Lebanese left because they didnt want to stay here not one more second, regardless of whether they found a good job or not ..
This desperation to leave Lebanon is increasing by the day, and honestly i can no longer find any arguments to convince people from leaving this country since i myself am convinced i do not belong here anymore, not cause of any events, cause of facts that speak louder than words.
Eventually, even the cedars are packing and leaving ![]()

A picture that says it all ..

I still dont see it happening, i still believe all those incidents occuring resemble more a cold war rather than the symptoms of a new internal war … 7alna ba2a nit3allam ..

After we earned a fake independance back in 1943, The 2005 Cedars Revolution gave us a second chance to achieve our true independance once and for all, after years of war, and after years of Syrian hegemony, and tens of political assassinations and bombings that took away our finest young men and politicians and journalists ..
Are we on the right track ? Are we gonna earn this independance once and for all ??
Only the Lebanese people will be the judge of that, not its leaders, but the people.
