Yesterdays post by N10452 really pissed me off. After reading the article I wanted to give every penny I had to Maroun, how could anyone not want to after reading the shit he had gone through and is still going through? Everyone I know who read the article wanted to help out in on way or another, they wanted to know what they could do to make Marouns life more pleasent.

Now how come the Lebanese Forces isn’t doing anything about it? How could they let someone like Maroun live the way he is living? Where is the compassion and the support? What have they done for him or what are they doing for him?

The problem is this is not the first time the Lebanese Forces has ignored its members like this. Sure the LF is no longer a militia but thats no excuse to forget about the fighters who fought for us back when we were. You can’t toss people aside like that just because you have no use for them.

Maroun spent 13 years in a Syrian hell hole because of the LF and now he is living in a room under a stairs? This is how we thank him? I hope this story turns out to be bullshit because I can’t believe the LF could be so heartless.
