Shame on all christians who have choosen to take all Lebanese against what our faith in democracy. The irony is to follow a dictator blindly in the name of freedom. Can someone tell me what benefit for Lebanon would burning cars and other kinds of riots make? Is this really my Beloved country? Can’t believe it at all…..

    Hi,

    Interesting Pictures.

Is it possible to label each one with the location?

    Thanks

  • 9. Chady | January 23rd, 2007 at 2:54 pm

And they call that a “strike” ?

    It’s not a democratic strike. It’s a riot, a hostage taking…

Does our Constitution give the right to burn cars and block streets ?

15 people injured, 1 killed, what the hell is that ? A strike ?

    Pauvre Liban… haram, vraiment

A question : can I put theses pictures on FLICKR ? to show to the wiorld what these criminals are doing ?

  • 10. Mohammad | January 23rd, 2007 at 3:39 pm

Soon (MOI) will clean all that SHIT and export them to Syria because Lebanese are always clean and those dirty people will be crashed by peace or by force.

  • 13. Georges | January 23rd, 2007 at 7:31 pm

Well I think that as an LF, i would have stayed at home like i did, instead of giving a so bad image to our party and going on the streets and act like these savages who were burning tires and blocking roads…

I think you did a mistake fellows LF by going down the streets and really act like a militia. I called many of the LF leaders to tell them that its a big mistake, let them stage out, few days later the whole community will be against them… but now we are in a big shit cos the tayyar got more popular because of the actions of some fellows LFs…

    Sad… but true.

My friends, dont act like them, they will burn themselves and their popularity by themselves

Where are the global warming protests sinces these fires are releasing tons of CO2 into the atmosphere?

  • 15. Danderson | January 23rd, 2007 at 8:36 pm

Man, that looks like it accomplished a tremendous amount. So after this riot (excuse me, demonstration), what happended, was there peace in the Middle East, was there peace in this neighborhood, was there peace anywhere?

The answer is YES, there is for all intents and purposes peace in all countries who believe in democracy. Even though we all live under the knowledge (not fear) that terrorism could be right around the corner. Billions of people live a pretty much carefreee life and dont live like these animals in the Middle East. What is wrong with you people. FIGURE IT OUT!!!

What a waste of time and energy!!!

  • 16. koedo | January 23rd, 2007 at 9:01 pm

Well, is anyone suprised? Your friendly neighborhood Islamist are in the streets…again.

Nice Muslims. They’re just taking after Mohammed, the original murdering, raping terrorist

Kill Nassrallah and his self serving pig dogs. Sadr, you’re nect.

HOw on earth can anyone convert to a religion which indulges in such wodespread violence? What is worse – the violent Muslims use the Koran and quote from it to justify it. When will moderate Muslims stand up and condemn loud and clear this horror which fills our news each day.

Hezbollah is starting to make its bid for complete control of Lebanon. Look for increasingly militant attacks on both government ’symbols’ and officials.

  • 30. Mohammad | January 24th, 2007 at 1:49 pm

    To koedo,

Why are you saying so? Why you are attaking ISLAM in general? Who said that Muslims were protesting yesterday? Is the Iranian Hizbulla Muslim or persian? Are Aounists muslims? Are Maradah muslims?
You have a very big misunderstanding unless you think that Saad Al Hariri as Jew!

  • 31. Peter | January 24th, 2007 at 4:08 pm

This is why no one in the West takes Lebanon seriously. Really, who cares? Start acting like adults, kick the adolescent bad guys out and you can have a great country.

Sad to see Lebanon being destroyed by terrorists backed by Syria and Iran. The Cedar revolution was so full of promise and a more beautiful future!

Now it is clear, either become slaves to the Islamic rule of endless Jihad, or return to civil war. Sad.

Well you had a chance, when Israel moved to destroy these thugs, but instead, your government sided with the terrorists. Now look what you have!
