I knew things were bad in Lebanon when it came to treatment of Animals but I didn’t know it was this bad. Luckily we have B.E.T.A. which is trying to do their best with what very little resources they have. Please check these three links [Link] and [Link] and [Link] to get an idea of how messed up things are.
They need as much help and support as possible so please help them out either financially or by volunteer work. Here is a link to their website where they have a section called How you can help. $10 a month would make a difference! [Link]

With all due respect, there are far more important things we need to worry about in Lebanon right now. Like the actual human beings for example!

Caring for animals is also a humane thing to do…if we mistreat animals that are adopted, then what does this say about us as human beings?

Yanni seriously you can’t worry about more than one thing at a time? No one is saying worry about animals and ignore humans here.
Stop being cheap and donate $10.

HammerHead, humans can vote, dogs can not.

When I donate, I donate to people that have no food. I donate to people that are sick and can’t afford medicine. I donate to orphans…. It’s not about the amount being 10$ or whatever, it’s about the principle.
A dog will never die from hunger. God created him in a way that he can fully depend on himself. Too bad we need medicine to survive. Too bad we need a blanket so we do not freeze. Too bad we need food to stay alive.
Please do not get me wrong. I have nothing against you nor against the move and I can work on things in parallel bas eno fi echya a7a2 mn ghayra.

Paul: sadly some dogs are voting and some of them are coming to power and some of them have become leaders.
10$ for BETA won’t hurt anyone.
It might help us raise tomorrow’s leaders

There is a special place in hell for the sick sons of b*tches who do such things to those helpless kind animals.
i never killed a bird in my life, but i’ll not hesitate for a second to put the a**hole who chain a dog and starve him to death or set a dog on fire, i’ll not think twice to drive him to the desert in the trunk of my car and chain him up and let him starve to death.
That’s justice.
and let’s not compare dogs to politician, a 20 kg Boxer is more humane and has more mercy and kindness in his heart than all lebanese politicians combined…dead and alive.

HammerHead: As you can see, a dog can die from hunger when he is chained up and not fed

LF, FPM, Future and Hizbulla agree on one thing only: Dogs.
Let BETA be the new council of ministers, we are all in agreements, unless Aoun wants more dogs than anyone else, then we are back to square one.

@ Mark:
I am not with animal cruelty. It’s a terrible thing, but for where Lebanon is now, I’d rather help this kid for example: http://www.uruknet.info/uruknet-images/tyr3.jpg
I hope Lebanon does not become like Canada and many other west countries where pets come before kids in families. I speak based on observations. It’s a terrible thing!!!
