Saturday, February 28th, 2009March 1 : Hariri Tribunal
Saturday, February 28th, 2009Tomorrow will mark the official start of the Special Tribunal for Lebanon. This court was established back in 2006 after the UN Security council approved it (under UN Resolution 1664), knowing that March 8 back then boycotted every meeting to vote for the tribunal and agree with the UN, which forced March 14 to refer to the UN.
The Tribunal set off a series of bombings and assassinations in Lebanon targetting mainly Christian regions (Being the most vulnerable) and Anti-Syrian politicians.
The question remains though whether this tribunal will close a dark era of assassinations or not. My opinion is NO honestly.
Hariri’s assassination gave the US and the international community an alibi to help us out, but we were unable of helping ourselves and as a consequence, we found ourselves today trapped by this tribunal.
Why is that ?
What if the criminals are revealed ? What if they are linked to Hezbollah or the Syrian intelligence ? What if they are Al-Qaeda terrorists ?
Who is able of arresting those criminals ? No one.
What if we do capture them ?
Who will be able to take responsibility for what could follow ?
No one.
The whole world expected a stronger Lebanon emerging from the Cedar Revolution, but they overestimated the M14 politicians potential and underestimated Syria’s allies in Lebanon. Of course Israel’s screw up made things worse in 2006 and the continuous US screw up in the region did not make us any favor.
Most Lebanese are speaking of the upcoming elections as being decisive ones. I beg to differ, winning the upcoming elections will simply give M14 another chance of getting out of this trap called the tribunal. Losing them will keep Lebanon in the chaotic situation it is in right now.
PS: M8 and mainly Hezbollah were still defending the 4 officers arrested and asking for their release until yesterday.
New regulations restrict noise at pubs, restaurants
Saturday, February 28th, 2009Lek malla maskhara !!
Instead of taking proper measures to moving and closing some pubs from residential streets, they want to close down Lebanon’s only flourishing business.
Let the Police patrol the streets in gemmayze looking for trouble makers instead of sitting on their asses looking at hot girls passing by !
From the Daily Star
BEIRUT: Interior Minister Ziyad Baroud and Tourism mister Elie Marouni issued Thursday a series of new
regulations concerning the work of restaurants, cafes, pubs and nightclubs in residential and non-residential areas.
The memorandum stipulates that concerning restaurants, cafes, pubs, and nightclubs located in residential areas, music and other shows ought to stop at 1:30 a.m. on Friday, Saturday and on holidays, and at midnight the rest of the week. Closing time for restaurants, cafes, pubs, and nightclubs is 2 a.m. on Fridays, Saturdays and on holidays, and 1 a.m. the rest of the week. As for outlets located in non-residential areas, music is to be turned off at 2:30 a.m. on Friday, Saturday and on holidays and at 1:30 a.m. the rest of the week. Restaurants, cafes, pubs, and nightclubs located in non-residential areas will close down at 3:30 a.m. on Fridays, Saturdays, and on holidays, and at 2:30 a.m. the rest on the week.
The Empire Strikes Back!
Thursday, February 26th, 2009Bkerki is finally fighting back those who attack the Patriarch, they are threatening with EXCOMMUNICATION!
I think it is all talk but at least it is funny, just imagine if the representative of 70% of Christians is no longer Christian
OH MY GOD We will have some REALLY CONFUSED AOUNIES!!
So I just thought of this joke: what will Gibran Bassil be called when this government resigns in June?
EX-COMMUNICATION minister

Lebanon central bank chief got it right
Wednesday, February 25th, 2009Riad Toufic Salame, the governor of Lebanon’s central bank, is not one of those men.
So as major banks in America and Europe were shuttered or partly nationalized and thousands of people in the U.S. financial sector were laid off, Lebanon’s banks had one of their best years ever.
The Calm Before The Storm…
Tuesday, February 24th, 2009We all know that the most heated battle in the upcoming elections is in Christian areas. We all know that in all other areas the outcome is somewhat known. Let us hope that Christians wont do the same mistake of 1990. Let us hope that a 3rd party wont get involved to throw a firecracker between Christians of both sects and start a never ending sectarian conflict. Most of all..Let us hope that this is NOT the calm before the storm.
The upcoming elections are very very important for both parties. Let us not forget that on March 1 the tribunal will start. So whoever wins the next elections, will speak for all the Lebanese people and will have the last say as to whether the Lebanese Government should co-operate with the tribunal’s vital decisions (indictments, presenting evidence, calling witnesses, etc..) or not. Whoever wins the next elections will have the power to block the tribunal from doing its work properly.
I am voting M14 this spring not because I am an M14 supporter, no I never follow anyone, and I have my own brains to think with. I don’t need anyone to think for me. I am voting M14 because I want to see the killers put to justice, I want to see the cold blooded murderers being tried at the Hague. I want to see those that were responsible for the inhumane torture of prisoners be tortured themselves. I really want to see the killers of Lebanon from 1982 till present suffer for the bloodbath they showered Lebanon with.
For this main reason exactly, I refuse to risk the tribunal’s work and thus blocking justice from being served. I know for a fact that for every vote M14 gets, Lebanon’s killers feel the knife getting deeper into their hearts.
I have been wanting and waiting impatiently for justice to be served since 1982, since the killing of the 10452 dream, and now is the chance, could very well be the final one. I really hope that a storm wont come and kill that dream again.
Thank You
Google knows!!
Tuesday, February 24th, 2009We ask Google for all our information and now I found that this search engine knows Lebanese politics very well too!!
Even before I click the search it make for me suggestions what to ask… I found this by chance, if you enter Gemayel it will tell you the name is associated with assassination, family, brothers, and spa salon (this is maybe for Cheikh Amine’s hair?
). So I ask it about Geagea it said he apologized for the war and he is friends with the Americans (Obama??).
And of course I can’t resist so I check what is the name Aoun associated with, it tells me immediately: Iran, Syria, making a lot of noise, and running around the world!!
Man this Google is really amazing!! Try it yourself, even before you click to search it reveals everything, so if you are a confused Lebanese Christian you don’t know what to vote in the election, ask Google!
PS: This post is classified under humor, so if you love Micho please don’t get pissed off, just sell your rifle for $1000 and take it easy

Words of Wisdom, Indeed.
Tuesday, February 24th, 2009Gather ’round children, Jiddo Michel has a story to tell you.
In his press conference today, Aoun told a riveting story that I will sum up like this:
A guy says to another that he is willing to sell his rifle for $250, the guy gives him a thousand dollars instead. When he gets the rifle, he points it at the guy and says give me back my thousand dollars.
Aoun told the Lebanese citizens that their vote is their rifle, and they shouldn’t sell it for one thousand dollars.
Of course he was talking about Hariri paying for expats’ tickets so they could come vote. Now, it seems that Aounis have this common misconception that those people wouldn’t vote for M14 if Hariri doesn’t pay them. Those people are already supporters of the Cedar Revolution, and there is nothing wrong with them getting a free ticket to practice their rights. After all, it was Aoun’s ally Salloukh who said that the Foreign Ministry wasn’t able to let people vote abroad.
Now to the irony in this facinating story:
He talked about the guy with the gun making the other guy give him his money back. Hmmm, now which one of Aoun’s allies has a ‘rifle’? Is it Amal? Hezbollah? SSNP? Or is it Frangiyeh? Oh wait, it’s all of them!
How can you tell a story about a man using weapons to force someone else to do something when all of your allies are armed to the teeth?
Isn’t Hezbollah using its weapons to guarantee its victory in the election in the South and Beqaa, isn’t it using its weapons to force its will on the country?
So once again, my dear General, look in your own yard before criticizing others.
A LETTER TO THE PEOPLE
Monday, February 23rd, 2009Dear Fellow Lebanese,
I am not really a march 14 Supporter nor a March 8 admirer. I am simply a Lebanese citizen with extraordinary love for his country.
I write to you today not as a Maronite, nor as a Christian, but as a Lebanese who feels that he must speak out.
The greatest problem I see in Lebanon today is the lack of responsibility and accountability amongst our people. I say this because I believe there is a fundamental misunderstanding in the mind of the voter. Most voters today see their vote as a personal battle of who is right and who is wrong. It involves egos and pride not intelligence and analysis. It involves the forcing of opinions on others and not the acceptance of political differences.
However the even bigger issue lies within this concept. Today we are in a referendum on whether or not we are really able to rule ourselves or whether we still need the Syrian boot firmly planted within our political sphere. This is not a battle of different platforms but rather of different perspectives of the Nation.
On one hand you have a a group of the old guard politicians pretending to be the new guard and on the other hand you have a dangerously armed single confessional Militant group with very undemocratic ideals. Both would accept varying degrees of Syrian or Saudi involvement in our daily life if given the chance to rule. Both would tell you that it is either their way or the highway. Both are willing to purchase votes from voters who are behaving exactly as I have mentioned above.
I reject both.
Today what is needed is a voter who is intent on having things happen in the nature that he or she imagines. If it is accountability, then it applies to all. If it is democracy, then it is in all parts of the country. If it is resistance, then it is by all the people and all confessions and most importantly ; against all enemies.
We are Lebanese citizens first and foremost, inspired by our wonderful country and children of its warmth and beauty. We are not second class people relegated to be bought and sold by foreign agendas. We are not pawns in the hands of mob bosses who proclaim loyalty to whomever advances their nefarious gains. We are not uneducated illiterate masses who sway in the winds of dictators whims.
We are the Lebanese people of indomitable spirits and of indefatigable wills. We are the Lebanese people; a civilization unto itself with a history far outreaching all others. Lebanon has been a haven for humanity and good living since the neolithic period. I do not care to be a Phoenician. That was a name given to us by Greeks. We do not care to be Arab, that is a moniker thrown upon us by conquering tribes. We do not care to be an American colony nor an Iranian outpost nor a Syrian playground nor a Saudi property.
We are the Lebanese and history tells of who we are. The Bible quotes our name. The temple of Jupiter rises in our land, the tomb of Ahiram on our coast and the legend of Ishtar and Adonis from our rivers.
Need I remind you that the name Lebanon is thousands of years old and we stand here today to affirm that it will remain that way well into the future.
I know that when I write to you, I write with a voice that is heard by all but many fear to acknowledge it.
We have been oppressed and beaten for years now into believing that we are divided, selfish, sectarian, feudal, unable to rule ourselves , incapable of moving forward.
This has been the only way our enemies had to conquer us.
All of you know what a few years of peace and quiet could bring to this country. We see it within days of calm. The Lebanese return to their land and their way of life. We build resorts and restaurants. We build homes and houses. We start businesses and organizations. We sponsor art and creativity.
When we are given some peace and freedom, there is no goal that cannot be achieved by the Lebanese and we do it always with grace and style. We do it with service and pleasure. We do it right. Period.
What I speak about above is clearly Syria, and Israel’s greatest fear. They fear what peace and calm in Lebanon would do to their plans. They fear that if given the chance to unite, the Lebanese people would quickly become an economic force and beam of tolerance in a middle east that is known for none of the above.
Today, I write to you about the upcoming elections. There is no question that the choices amongst the candidates are limited. Almost all fall under one or the other camp. So unfortunately we are forced to choose between the Lesser of two evils. I for one will choose the ideals of March 14 over those of March 8 for one simple reason.
As a Lebanese I want to be known by the rest of the free world as a place of peace and democracy rather than isolated as a radical supporter of terror and unrest. Today March 14 and the politicians within it are overwhelmingly recognized by and interact with the all the countries of the world while those of March 8 are almost completely shunned and labeled as supporters of Terrorism. Only Iran and Syria are close to March 8.
That is the only reason why I would support one camp over the other. In my honest opinion we need a complete overhaul of the entire political Junta.
Why would we ever support Samir Geagea and Michel Aoun after what they did to the Christians in 1990?
Why would we ever tolerate Hassan Nassrallah and Nabih Berri after they openly declared ” Thank You Syria” on March 8?
Why would we ever support parties like SSNP that openly calls for the dissolution of the nation?
Why would we ever support politicians like Jumblat and Arslan who worked hand in hand with Syria to line their pockets and increase their power?
Why would we accept that Rafic Hariri’s son Saad inherit the amount of power he did without any referendum on what his father did under Syrian tutelage?
Why would we accept all the ragtag like Sleiman Franjieh and Wi’am Wahab and all those who made a living from Syria’s brutal rule?
We need a new Nation of politicians and a new spirit of collaboration. We need a people who know that we can hold politicians to their word.
We need to understand that Lebanon is for us not for them. Lebanon is our country not a business that has ten different shareholders arguing over who gets a bigger piece of the pie.
We need to take back our country.
Let us start by voting for democracy.
Vote 10452km2
Thank You

Siyam Moubarak ..
Monday, February 23rd, 2009Today is the first day of the holy lent.
Keep in mind this is not about dieting or starvation, it is about giving up sinful habits and practices, things that we are taught to do everyday as Christians, not just those 40 days.
Siyam Moubarak to all.

YOU MIGHT BE A AOUNY IF……
Sunday, February 22nd, 2009YOU MIGHT BE A AOUNY IF……
Your Dad, or you, or someone you know, or someone who knows someone you know, or someone who might know some one who might know someone else who defnitely knew someone who was slapped by an LF’er at a checkpoint in 1985 and you still havent gotten over the embarrasment.
You really believe that the Patriarch collects money from Saad Hariri and deserves to die but you are sure that Hassan Nassrallah is 100% completely, certainly, and irrefutably, unaffected by Iran.
You think the Sunni’s are so horrible and dangerous and a threat to your way of life, that you hide behind the SSNP, Wi2am Wahhab, The Baath Party, Bachar al Assad and Knomeini’s representatives in Lebanon rather than be swallowed by the evil Sunni Ba3Ba3 who built night clubs and 24hour Bars and Lounges near the Mohammad Al Amine Mosque in Down Town.
You believe that Hariri stole 40 Billion dollars despite the fact that he perfectly restored the completely destroyed capital of our country and it took 27 years for the national debt to get there, but you will never mention the 14 Billion dollars lost in 2006 within 33 days by your allies who have not built anything but tunnels, rat holes, bomb depots, slums and ugly posters of scary bearded terrorists.
You are not even slightly concerned or distressed that about 1/3 of the country is a hizballah security zone , but you sure as hell wanna know what the fuck an Army pilot like Samer Hanna was doing flying over south Lebanon and who would dare give him those orders??!!!!
You think Michel El Murr is a scumbag traitor , useless politician with no voters since the day he allied with Amine Gemayel and the Kataeb, but two days before that you would have licked poop off his ass and allowed his pet german shepherd to have babies with your mom just to keep his votes.
You are sure that Kurdish Mercenaries flew into Beirut airport ( business class) and killed Pierre Gemayel for revenge against Amine’s dealing with Saddam Hussein, but you strongly doubt that Syria had anything to do with Hariri’s killing even though 300 syrians have been interviewed by UN investigators and Bachar el Assad is ready to give his left testicle to Ban Ki Moon if only they cancel the court.
You really believe that the Lebanese Forces of the past which had 13,000 trained members with weapons and equipment and with a budget of hundreds of millions of dollars needed to steal loaves of bread at Hajiz el Berbara
You don’t give a shit if Dory Chamoun doesn’t believe that Samir Geagea killed Danny. Who is he? and what does he know anyway??
You make fun of the Lebanese Forces members that they are “zo3ran” but you think 20,000 hizballah agents roaming around beirut on dirty old mobilletes and slippers are as polite as the queen of England
You really think Michel Aoun went to syria from ” Beb el 3areed” and he restored the rights of the Christians despite the fact that thousands of Lebanese christians are still unaccounted for in Syrian graves and prisons many of whom were fighting for Aoun against the syrians.
You honestly believe that Michel Aoun’s cursing and shouting and all that propaganda and birdshit orange color you plaster all over the place can hide the fact that you are allied with Syria and its murdering allies.
Book your flight NOW !

SURVIVAL OF THE SHITTEST
Saturday, February 21st, 2009In the world of evolutionary theory and social darwinism, it is rare to see a phenomenon in which a combination of inviable traits will mutate to form a conceptually resistant permutation of logical insignificance. It is in this infrequent happenstance that the basic tenets of evolutionary theory succumb to the basic flaw called survival of the Shittest
Here we will discuss a few:
Species Description:
The Aouny; (Aounis Orangis Dementus): A recent offshoot of an Anti-Anti Syrian cultural phenomenon, the Aounis Dementus is characterized by a herding trait that allows for rapid assimilation of clone-like behavior. While the Aounis Dementus is not known for independent thinking, it can exhibit a similar biometric aura. Thus rational conversation with a Aounis Dementus will likely mimic a preprogrammed behavior that elicits general (no pun intended) characteristics of logic even though no such system actually functions. Aounies are logically deficient as the herding trait has overtaken it in its evolutionary prioritization. Aounies will insist however that their frequent change of position is none other than a consistent behavior based solely on rational thought which only happens to be traceable back to the head Aouny who disseminates the information leading to herding behavior. Some argue that the prominence of the Orange color is a sign that some form of synesthesia is attributed to this form of Dimentia.
The Snoopy : (Croissantis Unpopularis Syrianis) Is a much older species than Orangis Dimentus and has thus held the prominent evolutionary position in the resulting mutation. The Snoopy is characterized by unflinching circular arguments that lack any general underlying rationale. Snoopies tend to see the world from a rather lackluster perspective that allows them to fantasize towards their long awaited utopian homeland; Greater Syria. Snoopies cannot typically understand logic as this is redundant in their protazoan type behavior that allows for the worship of a human deity. The Croissantis Unpopularis is only at peace with similar type species that thrive on a diet of propaganda tailored to suit their general utopian fixation. Similar to the Aounis Dimentus , the Snoopy will lead any conversation in ever blurrier circles toward exhaustion.
The Hizzy : (Iranianis Shaytanus Religionis) While clothed in religious fascia, the underlying propensity of the Shaytanus Religionis is towards chaos. This species is rooted in a culture of martyrdom that is very similar to lemming type behavior. If the Hizzy cannot reach chaos, it will likely self distruct from peaceful behavior. Hizzies try to maintain a nationalistic appearance while constantly fomenting unrest. This unrest is particularly suited to the social structure of the pseudo religious doctrine as it is a prerequisite for the success of this species. It is rather interesting that the Shaytanus will group with the Orangis Dimentis and the Syrianis Unpopularis towards a common outcome. The Hizzy is led by a autocratic leadership that is almost always characterized by a violent religious oratory and a mystique culled from a love of death. Shaytanus is threatened by democratic behavior and has strong survival backup systems to resist this.
The Baathy : ( Baathus Excrementus Syrianis ) This species does share a strong relationship to its cousin the Snoopy though is not anywhere close to its sophistication. The Baathy is very low and oldest on the evolutionary totem pole of the Syrianis plague. Marked by ultra violent outburst, the Excrementus Syrianis is particularly suited to serve as the death squad of the Snoopy or Shaytanus. Frequently used by these two to achieve certain anti democratic ideals, the baathy is a workhorse with little social intelligence. In fact in any realitic discourse on the baathus Syrianis, the word intelligence should rarely if never come in to play. The Baathus Syrianis is almost a host for more advanced species and thus is used prolifically amongst all prosyrian species.

Aoun is still the same and i have the proof ! The only difference between 2005 and 2009 is that in 2009, you need to dig deeper and find the true meaning behind every sentence and slogan

Hezbollah defending Christianity: Hypocrisy at its best
Friday, February 20th, 2009Hezbollah issued a statement yesterday condeming the Israeli channels for disrespecting Jesus Christ and St.Mary in one of their shows.
The MOU got into them so deeply that they feel more Christians than the Christians themselves.
Of course:- Building mosques and invading Christian villages is a sign of respecting Christianity.
- Strategically allying to a nation (Iran) who might just kill you for being non-muslim is a sign of respect as well.
- Using Jesus and his teachings in a cheap political speech to defend Palestinian terrorists is a sign of appreciation for our lord.
I will not bother go on with this endless list … nonetheless, i must thank them for reminding Aounists about their Christianity because i’ve seen some of them enraged and frustrated by this horrific Israeli act.
Of course, cursing and calling the Patriarch names is an exception because Aoun allows it.

Another MEA Officer targeted
Wednesday, February 18th, 2009Update : I heard from unconfirmed sources that Ghassan Mokdad relatives are in the drug business and there is more than one killed in his family cause of unsettled issues, but again this doesnt mean Ghassan himself was implicated. He could have been the scapegoat for all i know.
After Joseph Sader’s kidnapping, another MEA employee, Captain Ghassan el Mokdad was found killed in Ouzai today.
What is weird about his story is that his house was stolen 2 weeks ago and his brother was killed in December under mysterious circumstances.
He was shot dead in the head in his car.
As far as Sader’s case is concerned, still no news about his kidnapping.
Are those two cases related ?
I hardly think so. One is a pure kidnapping while the other is more of a hit-and-run operation.
