Answering “Poussy” el Achkar

Saturday, January 31st, 2009

First of all, i would like to point out to Mr.Achkar that he should seriously consider losing the “Poussy” nickname. Maybe back at his time, everyone was french-educated and didnt realize how demeaning it is to call a man poussy, but times have changed :-)

Back to his interview with lebanonfiles, he sure knows how to run away from answers and make his interview look solid and balanced, that of course if you dont have enough feedback on this person. So basically, it is a “good” electoral interview filled with lies and hypocrisy i will be more than delighted to show.

To begin with, the man has every right to be a candidate, and no one can ask him to step down.

Title of this interview was : سأترشح…

Answer to 2nd question goes :

I am quite confident anyone who considers another like his son, wouldnt indirectly refer to him negatively in an interview. So what if Sheikh Nadim was away for a while ? Did you have your father and sister assassinated by Lebanon’s enemies ? Did you have your cousin (Sheikh Pierre) shot in cold blood ?

If you truly consider Nadim as your son, you sacrifice for him and step down and help him win those elections, you dont backstab him in public and during interviews.

Going to Question 7

You represent Bashir’s line ? Is it by going against March 14 that you are saving Bashir’s heritage ? or by accepting money from Hezbollah and Aoun ? or by attacking and disrespecting Bashir’s wife and son ?
Bashir was known for his dignity first and foremost, something you seem to be lacking Mr.Poussy.

Back to Hezbollah:

Why are you accepting money from Hezbollah then ? or from his ally Sehnaoui ? And i dare you to deny those accusations.

Regarding Achrafieh.

You never left Achrafieh and supported its people as you pretend. Going to funerals and weddings and baptisms is not how we enhance a city and help its people. Going to every barber in town and making friends with them is not how you do politics. Before any of those, Achrafieh is Achrafiyyit el Bashir, and if you cant stick to that line, leave it alone and dont pollute it in your interviews.

Finally, i assure you that even if you do win in Achrafieh, Syria and Hezbollah would have won and not Achrafieh, because when Achrafieh people will become so dellusional and brainwashed to vote you over Bashir’s son, then we all Christians will have a serious problem.

Ah ya Gilberte ah !!

Friday, January 30th, 2009

I cannot but classify this post under humor .. it doesnt deserve a political tag or even a critique ..

Tante Gilberte has discovered the real danger on Lebanese people after 3 years in parliament ..
While everyone thought she wasnt doing anything, they were wrong ..

While spending her millions of dollars on Aounimal, she was thinking very thoroughly and deeply about Lebanon’s future and how to safeguard it .. and the result is :

Beggars in the streets are the real threat .. not the July war, not the Beirut invasion by Hezbollah, not the Israelis, not the violent demonstrations .. not the political assassinations .. the 5 year old Kurds and Syrians and Lebanese kids selling flowers and chicklets are a threat to our national security :D

The tawteen scarecrow…ila ayn???

Thursday, January 29th, 2009

Based on the above, I ask the general, and consequently his followers WHY?

Isn’t it him who never misses an occasion to scare the Lebanese people with the “tawteen” scarecrow? Isn’t that his favourite means of attack whenever he wants to bash M14???? “baddon ywattno el flostiniyi”…

Wasn’t the opposition to naturalization of the Palestinians one of the reasons Aoun used to explain his alliance with the holy militia???

Why is he now so inquisitive when M14 demand a law that would make that naturalization virtually impossible to achieve???

There are two possible explanations in my opinion:

  • Its simply because M14 proposed it and therefore Aoun had to oppose out of principle
  • Aoun is using the naturalization as a means to scare the people and in reality doesn’t give a damn about it…

If it was answer number one, then what kind of reformist do we have here? What is this stupid attitude that refuses any form of reform or change if it is not proposed by him???

If it was answer number two, then till when will the general continue with his lies to the people? and most importantly, till when will the people who follow Aoun continue to be so blind???

And if it was a combination of the above two points then what the hell is a guy like this still doing in politics??? why on earth do the Lebanese people not return him to the garbage can of history and leave him there to rot???

Haven’t we had enough liars and con artists play with the fate of this country???

Do we need more?????

I write, knowing full well I will never get a straightforward answer from the General nor from his followers but nevertheless, the question will remain for the future…when the new generations that surf the web trying to comprehend the intricacies of Lebanese politics and why did the country suffer for so long…they will doubtless stumble on all these questions that are left pending waiting for a straightforward answer and they will know the reality of the people who consistently evaded answering.

Cheers

MTV Back on March 31st

Wednesday, January 28th, 2009

MTV’s chairman of the board Michel Gabriel Murr announced on Wednesday that the station will resume broadcasting on March 31 after a seven-year interruption.
The TV network “never died and we paid a high price. It would become the
voice of the silent majority,” Murr said during a press conference held at the station’s headquarters in Naccache, north of Beirut. [More]

LF “Incompetence” syndrom apparently contagious

Wou bit2ouloule el Ouwet le72a el Hariri !! maskhara lol !

Who would have thought (Some LF names i will refrain from posting) would get to high positions within the LF ?? for example Tony Zahra .. sorry couldnt help myself :D

Well it happened and the worse is yet to come unfortunatelly ..

But lets skip those minor issues and move on to this major promotion within the FM inspired from the “new LF” selectiveness ..

Salim Diab is now in charge of Hariri’s electoral campaign after his impressive job in organizing Hariri’s secure plus company and defending Beirut against HA militants few months ago !

Salim Diab, Aka Rambo taree2 el Jdeede, is now responsibe for Hariri’s electoral team … wel habal machi … wala yihemmak ..

Aoun and the Moderate Bloc… Another war?

Tuesday, January 27th, 2009

I always asked myself, does Michel Aoun hates others, or he simply hates himself?

But lately I got the right answer, as it seems he turned out to be some kind of “others’ hater“, and he proved that by launching war after war, either Military or politically, on everyone who could stand in his way.

The last and most update side on the list is the Moderate Bloc or the “Ketla Wassatiah”, which is receiving many attacks from the insane general, without knowing the real reason for that.

Of course, who knows well this crazy man, can understand that he’s doing so because he felt they are competitors, or let me say additional competitors, so he started early in a quest to intimidate them.

On the other hand, maybe this Bloc is really close to President Sleiman, and this could be another reason for Aoun’s fear, in addition to his accusation for the bloc of being another face of 14 March.

But neverthless, we should ask some questions about this new movement, who really are they, and what are their purposes, their programs, their agendas etc… Maybe if we know, we’ll discover that he may be right after all, eventhough I doubt that.

The real Hezbollah agenda…

Monday, January 26th, 2009

Reading this article made me want to smile and cry at the same time…for it is a validation of all I have been saying throughout about the Hezbollah agenda.

From AL Nahar
—————————————–
Moussawi: Gradual Absorption of Political Forces Within Resistance

Hizbullah’s international relations official Nawaf Moussawi said the party would work on gradually absorbing Lebanese political forces within the framework of the resistance.

He affirmed that Hizbullah today is more solid in arms and strength.

Following his meeting Sunday with the Cuban Communist Party’s Deputy Head of Foreign Relations, Governor Oscar Martinez, Moussawi said: “Every attempt to deprive a people from arming and resisting is a full partnership with the aggression.”

Today more than ever, we are holding to our resistance arms and are strengthening them. Moreover, we are gradually working on absorbing Lebanese political forces within the framework of the resistance,” Moussawi said.

“The failure of the Israeli aggression in eliminating the resistance and the Palestinian cause is similar to the failure of the U.S. invasion of the region through its Israeli ally and Arab tools,” he said.

He went on to add that those who conspired against Gaza are known although they remain silent.

Beirut, 25 Jan 09, 19:01
—————————————–

I ask, regarding the highlighted points above, where is the MoU in all this???

Wasn’t it supposed to present the Lebanese and Hezbollah for a road map to the relinquishing of the weapons by the holy party???

And wasn’t it about understanding between two parties? As far as I know, it wasn’t marketed as a marriage but rather as a means of living together under the safe roof blah blah blah…

Yet I see Mussawi speaking here of ABSORPTION in other words, dissolution of everything else and integrating it within the HA framework and from there into the Wilayat Al Faquih…

Will some people still come up and accuse me of conspiracy theories???

OK I would understand HA followers if they did for it’s the only way they can defend themselves and that is denial..

When we posted about the famous quote from Nassrallah himself about his vision for Lebanon, people accused us of misinterpreting this and misreading it…

Others even went as far as to say this is no longer on the agenda…

Others still, blinded by hatred, went into a frenzied attack against the LF as they had nothing to say about the accusations and were used to the syrian mukhabarat system of offensive defense…

I re-quote Nassralla’s words to remind the people and refresh their selective memories:

With respect to us, briefly, Islam is not a simple religion including only praises and prayers, rather it is a divine message that was designed for humanity, and it can answer any question man might ask concerning his general and private life. Islam is a religion designed for a society that can revolt and build a state.

Are these not Nassralla’s own words????

Don’t the latest facts prove that the hezeb has not changed one iota in its basic creed and that is the establishment of the Islamic Revolution in Lebanon, just like in Iran????

But I do not understand the Aounists who support this denial…have they already been absorbed into the holy system???

Did they melt down into the pot pourri to become an integral part of this armed divine party???

Have they not learned from the neighboring Palestinians what happens to he who sells everything to save his soul???

Have they not taken enough examples from what is happening in Gazza to those who in 1948 sold out their lands and chose to live without any land rather than to die (I believe those were the words some of our esteemed HA readers used themselves to describe the Palestinian people)…

I see them to be very talkative when it’s about bashing the LF yet I hear nothing when such proof is presented….could it be that the roles have been distributed by the master bearded man and theirs is just to act as fer de lance in their attack against the LF???

To Hezbollah followers…in case you are not aware of your leadership’s plans, you who pretend that a monochromatic Lebanon cannot exist, pray tell me what you say to the above???

And please, to those who cannot control their testosterone levels and cannot but come out with thrash, I ask them to refrain from any comment since it shows nothing more than their blatant ignorance.

A bon entendeur, salut.

Hamas, a blessing or a curse to the Palestinian people

Sunday, January 25th, 2009

I hate this glorification of the culture of death…and most importantly I hate how radical organizations are peddling death left and right as if it was a God given right for them to decide who should live and who should die…

to see the images of kids blown to smitters or a mother running with her wounded baby in her hands is really appalling especially in the 21st century…

before some fool comes out shouting and cursing and making threats as empty as his head, I am not denying anyone the right to fight for the freedom of their land.

All i am saying is you want to resist, do it for its your God given right but do it the right way…

you start a war once, twice, three times and every time you get your butt kicked…

ok you come out claiming, by some weird logic that you won, but in the end, have you achieved the “declared” goal????(emphasis on declared because quite honestly I believe there are declared goals that are for the public consumption and there are the undeclared ones that lurk deep withing the dark abyss that forms the souls of those who put them)

to those who will claim its a long process of attrition, I say: since you seem to have such a long time ahead and such patience, wouldn’t it be less destructive if you invested yourselves into a different kind of resistance?

surely after all these decades of endless bloodshed, you should have realized that it is going nowhere…don’t you think its about time you reconsider your strategy????

In Lebanon we have a saying that goes: the donkey hits a wall the first time and the next time it turns around it…

so am I to conclude that the leadership of Hamas is worse than the proverbial donkey???

actually I believe its much more deeper than that…

Hamas, just like Hezbollah is being used by Syria and Iran as pressure points against Israel and consequently the west…who cares if a thousand people die…collateral damage…in the end, its about getting a better deal at the negotiations table…

its about getting the upper hand be it in the nuclear dossier of Iran or in releasing pressures against Syria in the wake of the Harriri assassination.

To those who have nothing better to do than criticize the LF for its past, I say: instead of using your blind demagogia why don’t you learn from the LF how to resist the invader in a constructive way??? we fought when it was time to fight and we resisted peacefully when the time was for peace.

we did not give syria the excuse of labelling us terrorists in front of the west.

we did not go about blowing up planes and embassies.

so learn a little instead of using your blind hatred.

From Lebanon to Argentina

Sunday, January 25th, 2009

I got this picture from a friend of mine who came back from Argentina few days ago.
Either it is one of those Argentinian leftists who support terrorist groups just cause they hate the U.S, or Hezbollah “3am bifajjir mawehbo 3al 7et” haha ..

Redefining the term “Victory”

Saturday, January 24th, 2009

I must say i wasnt surprised at all to hear Hamas claim victory after the Israeli offensive on Gaza, similarly to Hezbollah’s claim during the July war.

However, this “victory” claimed by Hamas is confusing and totally irrational. I will try to stay as objective as possible and make some sense out of this absurd declaration.

What is a victory ?
The defeat of an enemy in battle, or of an antagonist in any contest; a gaining of the superiority in any struggle or competition; conquest; triumph; — the opposite of defeat.

Now we know Israel entered Gaza, bombed the hell out of it, killed Hamas leaders and engaged in limited battle with Hamas militants, who were still launching random rockets at nearby Israeli cities.

The IDF had a certain number of objectives it wanted to achieve that they were able to do so as per their command. Barak knows elections are upcoming and didnt want to risk any bad move during this war, the “victory” Israel claimed cannot be described as a military one against Hamas. Their military victory was in reorganizing their ranks and coordinating their actions during the offensive, but the victory was more of a political one whereas Barak regained the Israeli’s confidence and the war was a strong boost to the Israeli’s morale.

As for Hamas, i keep asking myself under which circumstances they might admit defeat and i could only conclude that defeat is not a word they believe in, because for them as long as there remains one person capable of speaking in the name of Hamas, even if its a street boy, then they win.

If all Gaza’s population was killed and infrastructure destroyed, they would have declared victory.
If Israel invaded fully Gaza and they had one village left, they would also proclaim themselves winners.

They are practically fighting to die, so there is nothing to win in the first place except virgins in heaven, and the same applies to all terrorists.

“A masked gunman from the Islamic group’s armed wing vowed the groups would rearm as its leaders proclaimed it had achieved a holy victory in the confrontation.” [link]

Families lost their children, lost their houses, lost everything. Gaza was destroyed and will cost billions to reconstruct its basic infrastructure, people are now poorer and barely can survive due to the lack of food and medicine. Gaza is hell on earth and some arrogant masked terrorist comes up and announces victory.

For all those who support those people, and lets forget Israel for a second ..
The picture below is taken from the UNRWA school bombed by Israel, i ask you if this is how you achieve victories, do i dare imagine what a defeat would look like ?

Isnt there any common sense left in us people ? What is someone comes into your house and kills your whole family and steals you and you hit him with a rock and bruise him .. you d rejoice and feel proud that you hurt him back ??

As long as “Hating Israel more than loving Palestinians” is Hamas’ logic, i cannot but see a dark future for the Palestinian people.

Strategic Defense

Friday, January 23rd, 2009

I present you “3areeshe v1.0“, the latest camouflage developed and enhanced by our Lebanese army !

It is way more advanced than the “mitznefet” that i introduced few weeks ago and can hide a whole LA army jeep without Israel (The Juice) spotting it.

So far not one “Rio” has been spotted by Israeli airforce therefore proving the “3areeshe v1.0″ efficiency.

PS: Of course this piece of rotten machinery being at least 50 years and smaller than a Mini cooper and resembling a walking tent rather than a military jeep has nothing to do with the fact that no one targets it :P .

January 23rd 2007…kay la nansa

Friday, January 23rd, 2009

I couldn’t help but notice that today marks the two year anniversary of the failed attempt to take power by Hezbollah and the rest of M8…

That day started off as a general strike day…they blockaded the roads with tires and pretended to stop people from going to work…some democracy that of Hezbollah…we are on strike, so we forbid you from going to work by blocking your road…yes welcome to the 21st century my friends….

Anyways, the real deal behind blockading the roads was to divide Beirut into smaller sections and thereby allow the M8 goons to take them over one by one till they reach a complete takeover of the country…

Aoun had promised M8 that the Christian regions were in his pocket…that he could, in a matter of minutes, take the regions over and bring them under his command…that it would all take 24 hours and that the government would be overturned and those who were occupying down town Beirut would take over the Governmental Serrail

He was betting on his supposed 70% support in the Christian street…and on the weakness of the M14 Christians who would be unable to stand against his mind (one wonders at this point where the hell he gets his intel. information from – OK I guess intelligence is the wrong word  )

The Lebanese Forces proved once again that it was up to the task, any task it was opposed with as it dealt with all the wisdom and shrewdness with the situation at hand.

Dr. Geagea had anticipated that the game would be to force the LF to use weapons in self defense giving Aouns allies the right to support him with their holy weapons and thus take over the areas by force…pretty much like they would go on to do a year later on May 7th in Beirut…

Much to the orange frustration, not only did the LF not fall for the trap, but it also succeeded in preventing the take over of the Christian areas, all of the Chritian areas by aoun’s goons supported here and there by SSNP…even in Hazmieh area when Hezbullah tried to intervene with their weapons, they were not able to take a single meter of road.

The holy frustration of M8 would not be long to show itself as Aoun was quick to come out on public TV (coincidentally al Manar), armed with photographs to accuse the LF of using weapons…I remember his words back then: “rej3it tallit el boundou2iyi rassa men jdid” or something similar…

So much was his rush to accuse the LF, and spill his hatred that he did not notice that the pictures he was basing his entire story on were TOTALLY FAKE…or if he did, he did not imagine that sha3ba loubnan al 3azim would be smart enough to notice the trick…after all he had succeeded in playing the same game back in 1989…why should it not work this time as well…

But here again the LF were there to put an end to his lies and expose them…the very next day, in a press conference, MP Antoine Zahra exposed in detail the aounist lie…what was the aounist reaction: we did not know…we were fooled…

Fooled… they say…fooled…at the risk of sparking off an inter Christian war, they brought this obviously fake picture out of nowhere and they claim they were fooled…

Well then, if they are foolish enough to be fooled at anytime, how about they like step down and go home???

Two years ago, day for day, and nothing has changed…the same tactics , the same lies…the same blatant disrespect for the collective intelligence…the same indifference towards the Lebanese public opinion and the same arrogance in claiming their absolute saintety…

A question from the heart…

Thursday, January 22nd, 2009

This is directed to Ja3far, Docc and any one from M8 in general or Hezbollah in particular…

A quick question… Follow me through this and I pray you stick to the point at hand…

Let’s assume for a moment those who made this clip are not affiliated in any official way whatsoever to Hezbollah as it claims.

Let’s assume that the director who made the clip is indeed an independent businessman who thought he was doing good by doing this clip

Let’s assume that the motives behind this clip were purely to show cohabitation between religions and lack of any frontiers or boundaries…

So the film came out and it got the opposite effect to the one desired… both the Christian population as well as the Church itself expressed varying degrees of displease and sometimes anger…

Hezbollah being so keen on this coexistence and on the Christian feelings of Lebanon, don’t you think it should have done something about it…I mean something a little bit more…how shall I say it…active about this clip???

To claim Hezbollah does not have ANY control over the people who follow it be they party members or general supporters would not be very accurate as we all remember how when Nasrallah was caricatured in Bassmet Watan and his people took the streets aiming at getting some form of revenge, all Nassrallah needed to do was speak on the media and ask them to return home and they did…this is but a faint example of the control that Hezbollah has over its followers…

And I would assume the director of the clip is indeed a follower of Hezbollah or else why would he do such a clip??? Money wise it would be far more rentable to shoot a clip of Hayfa Wehbe would it not????

Again I ask, why did Hezbollah not ask the director to recall the clip and make a public apology??? I mean when the Patriarch himself goes on public TV and shows his discontent, the minimum that could be done from the offending side is to come out and apologize…

I would advance my own theory as to why but I am interested in the other side’s version thus I will leave my question pending in the hope I will get a clear concise and definite answer…

Obama Raises Hand, Lifts Nation

Wednesday, January 21st, 2009

WASHINGTON (CNN) — President Barack Obama invoked a spirit of confidence and renewal Tuesday, proclaiming to hundreds of thousands of people on the National Mall that the country would ultimately thrive despite hard economic times.

The new president pledged both “bold, swift action” and a willingness to make tough choices in the name of economic recovery and eventual victory in the global war on terror.

“Today I say to you that the challenges we face are real,” Obama said. “They are serious, and they are many. They will not be met easily or in a short span of time. But know this, America — they will be met.”

The president called for an end to vitriol in the political process, declaring that Americans chose “hope over fear [and] unity of purpose over conflict and discord” in the 2008 election.

“On this day, we come to proclaim an end to the petty grievances and false promises, the recriminations and worn-out dogmas, that for far too long have strangled our politics,” Obama declared.

“We remain a young nation, but in the words of Scripture, the time has come to set aside childish things.”

Riyadi bans Khatib & Ismail for 2 years

Tuesday, January 20th, 2009

A harsh but needed decision ..

Sporting Club Beirut (Riyadi) decided to stop key players Ismail Ahmad and Fadi el Khatib for 2 years and punish 6 other Lebanese players on their team for refusing to show up at yesterday’s championship game against Mouttahed, Tripoli.

The game ended in favor of al Mouttahed who found himself playing against Riyadi’s youth team and won by a staggering 70 points.

The reason why Riyadi players did not show up were purely financial, as their paychecks were 2 months late, but that was no reason, as per the Riyadi officials, to incite other players to boycott the games and promote such an environment inside the club.

I find the team’s decision more than rational, i would have kicked them out to be honest, not just stop them, despite the fact that few explanations are required as to why their salaries were 2 months late.

Here is the official Riyadi P.R

Oppressed…my foot….

Tuesday, January 20th, 2009

One thing that really doesn’t make sense when I hear Hizbullah/Amal Shiites talking is this insistence to use the “oppressed” adjective to talk about themselves…
And what’s worse, they will use it as an excuse to do anything they do from blocking roads with burning tires (in a democratic way of course), run a militia armed to the teeth, capable at anytime to start a destructive war without any regard to human life nor to the welfare of Lebanon, label whoever they wish as Israeli traitor and think that they can get away with it…
Well lets talk about this oppression for a while…maybe back in 6th and 7th centuries the Shiites were oppressed as they never were able to establish “ahel el beit” as leaders of the muslims and as such felt that they were denied their destiny…
Maybe Lebanese Shiites were treated as second class citizens between the 50s and the 70s… and I truly sympathize with them and feel grief for what they went through…
But then today, this is no longer true…If one was to do some digging, one would be surprised to find out that 66% of Government employees are HA/Amal Shiites and most of them do not even show up for work except to collect the end of month paycheck.
Furthermore, Hezbollah today is the most armed faction on the Lebanese scene with over 30,000 rockets and a huge military infrastructure.
Territories run by Hezbollah form a country within a country, with their own laws and regulations.
Taxes (electricity/water bills etc) are not paid by the inhabitants of this country within a country.
What’s worse, they run their own telecommunication network complete with cellular and fixed lines as well as international gateways… a rough calculation estimated that the international calls run by HA, yearly cause the Lebanese government to loose around a Billion Dollars…so in the last fifteen years when Syria was occupying Lebanon, had those fifteen billion dollars been collected by the Lebanese government, our national debt would not have reached the figures it currently boasts
And I am not talking about operations that are run outside Lebanon be it in diamond trade, gold, money laundering, drugs…YES DRUGS…for Hezbollah FULLY controls the Lebanese Bekaa valley, a land where opium and hashish have been traditionally grown for the last four or five decades…
And yet you will hear them nagging about how oppressed they are…and truly you will find most of them living in very harsh living conditions…blaming mostly “the others” for this state…
I mean, what really ticks me is where the hell is all this money going???
Instead of building bunkers to hide al sayyed and his men from Israeli bombs, wouldn’t it better and more suitable to build better homes for his people???
A trip through the airport highway is enough to show the abject living conditions people there are living in…
I mean instead of having thirty thousand plus rockets stocked in the mountains and underground, wouldn’t it be more humane to like provide those people with a better life style??? Or shelters in times of war??? in the last war, most of the casualties were CIVILIANS whereas HA leadership hid meters beneath the ground in well defended bunkers…
And for those who will claim that HA is providing for its people, I ask: at what cost????? At the cost of the life of one or more of the male family members who will go blow himself up in front of some imaginary enemy? I say imaginary while in my mind I recall the sad images of May 7th 2008 when Beirut was savagely attacked…but this is another story…
Again I ask: who is the oppressed here? And if they truly are, why the hell insist on accusing the others for their misery??
Why do they not see that it is their leaders who are causing this oppression to keep them as a fertile recruiting ground for fanatics
As I once said, what person who is well fed, well clothed, well educated would chose to go blow himself up???
Why do they not see the constant brainwashing that they are being subjected to day after day after day?
Take for example back in 2006…during the Israeli onslaught on Lebanon, Syria was working, under the table, on a peace agreement with the Olmert government…yet, to HA followers, it was Sanioura and his government who were labeled as Israeli agents…is this not brainwashing at its best???
Why do they not see for instance how their own MPs carry American nationalities? everyone remembers the scene of an Amal MP casting his vote at the US Embassy during the last presidential elections…and it is a well known fact that Nabih Berry possesses a number of Petrol Stations and other businesses in the USA
Hell this reminds me of how the father of speaker Kemil el Assad used to tell his people: why go to school? I am sending my son Kemil for all of you…
So lets cut this oppressed crap out of our vocabulary once and for all…and lets start talking some sense for the love of God…
Enough hypocrisy shall we???

True Hypocrisy never ends

I remember some time back (august-september) how the orange site was having a field day about the LF posters all over Lebanon…these were the ones that had the image of “yassou3 al malik” and “7arissa” statues and read “antom al arza wa na7nou khattouha al a7mar”… even on this blog you could find acidic remarks by our faithful aounis readers crying wolf…

there was even some letter to the Patriarch by a lawyer called May Khoreish that asked him to intervene and stop this maskerade claiming that the saints of Lebanon were a red line…

This is the article (http://www.tayyar.org/Tayyar/ArchivedNews/PoliticalNews/ar-LB/2008/10/1/128644688675073261.htm) and I took a screen shot just in case they should delete it like they usually do when they realize they have contradicted themselves…I quote a passage that really attracted my attention:

وأضافت:” أذهلني مساواة صورة السيدة العذراء والسيد المسيح بصور بعض السياسيين اللبنانيين المسيحيين وأثار غضبي لأنه لا يمكن لأي مؤمن أو عاقل أن يفهم الرابط بينهم”…

Now before my favorite online clowns start jumping in excitement, these have absolutely NO SIMILARITIES with the latest actions performed by Hezbollah namely the infamous video clip and the rosary with nassrallah’s picture…

why you will ask?

quite simply because those statues are the true Lebanese symbol for Christianity…furthermore no blasphemy was used since they did not represent DSG or any other leader along with the statues…nor did they try to associate any human being with any deity whatsoever in any shape or form.

This said, my question is very simple and straightforward:

why is the orange site so silent about the latest events???

do theynot claim to represent 70% of the Christians in Lebanon (and even in the middle east as per Bachar El Assad during Aouns visit to him)..

How come to this day we have not seen any remark whatsoever, be it in defence or in denial of the rosary beads and the video clip where hymns to  Hassan Nassrala were being chanted in front of an altar????

Are they scared of HA to the point they dare not express themselves?

Do they truly feel Nasrallah’s place is amidst our most sacred saints?

Have they simply melted into the pot and become a part of wilayit al faqih?

Or quite simply, is it that they will use anything that discredits the LF, regardless of whether they believe in it or not…

Where art thou Maitre Khoreish with your mighty sword to fly to the defence of the Church now????

Ouwet.com now iPhone/iTouch/Android friendly

I just installed a new plugin for the blog that will optimize the site for the iPhone, iTouch and Google Android phones. When you access the site using any of those devices you should see a specially formatted version of the blog (like the screenshot above) that works a lot better and faster.

Personally I was disgusted when watching the latest video clip praising Nasrallah…

I do not consider myself to be a sectarian person but there are limits to everything…

Some die hard defenders will claim that the Lebanese Forces did such clips in the past but this is NOT TRUE. I challenge anyone out there to show me ONE SINGLE video released by the LF OFFICIAL SOURCES that depicts Samir or Bachir as a God or places him at the same level. If we showed  churches in the clips it was always in prayers TO THE LORD which is what EVERY SINGLE FIGHTER would do before any battle. Pray THE LORD to help him and protect him in the coming fight…

This video in itself might not sound like much but when viewed in sequence with the other events that have been taking place, all caused by hezbolla, one cannot help but notice a pattern:

- the Lassa church
- the attacks on the Patriarch and the attempts to discredit him
- the appearance of rosaries with nasralla’s pictures on them

- this video with the pseudo choir singing hymns to nasrallah IN A CHURCH

seeing all these, one cannot help but feel like its a programmed brainwashing attempt aimed at superimposing nasrallah’s picture over that of our the churchs pillars…

and the most saddening thing? There isnt a single “eben mara” in the orange camp who will come out and talk against this…

representation of 70% of the Christians indeed.

I say if in 2009 those retards get a single seat in Parliament, we do not deserve to have a country…let it go to the wolves and to hell with it all.
