This picture was taken yesterday during the demonstrations organized in Damascus against the American attack on the Syrian border town of “bou kamal”.

When I saw this picture i felt so angry, I mean of course I don’t mind anyone to raise our flag, especially if he is Syrian, but to raise the Lebanese flag in Syria while stepping on the US flag, has another background, and I see it as a deliberate involvement of Lebanon in this conflict without any permition, which is something the Syrians are used to do, and this is the core of our problem with them, they consider themselves as our spokespersons and they do many  things on our behalf.

Now I will hear some people here saying that i’m exagereting and that this is an innocent act. NO it isn’t, because somehow i see it as a deliberate act, or if it wans’t, at least it is something the Syrians got used to do, which is wrong. others will say maybe they are Lebanese who went to demonstrate there, i will tell them: is it a coincidence to have Lebanese and Iraqis in the same picture, and are they Iraqis also who raised their country’s flag??

So in conclusion, We don’t want anyone to involve us in any act, we don’t want anyone to speak or act or decide on our behalf, we are an independent country able to act and decide, but it seems the Syrians are still have the same ideas that Lebanon is only a district of Syria, regardless their latest approval on establishing diplomatic relations.

I’ve been wanting to post about the latest road works being done, just to show you how short sighted and idiotic are those contractors being hired.

It is quite impressive, how one can manage to plan and execute such a lousy job not just in one region, but all over Lebanon.

The first example is this hole that came up right after the few rainy days we had, noting that this road was digged and repaved only few weeks ago.

Who is hiring those people ?? Where did they graduate from ?? Homs university ? walla mich ma2boul !

And the worst is yet to come.

(CNN) — Federal prosecutors charged two men with plotting a “killing spree” against African-Americans that would have been capped with an attempt to kill Sen. Barack Obama while they wore white tuxedos, federal officials said Monday.

Both men have been charged with illegal possession of a sawed-off shotgun, conspiracy to rob a federally licensed gun dealer and making threats against a presidential candidate.

According to an affidavit from the federal agent who questioned them, Cowart and Schlesselman planned to charge at Obama with a car, firing from the windows as they went. They would be dressed in white tuxedos and top hats during the attempt, the affidavit states.

Well I think that no matter who becomes president of the U.S. this year, they’re going to die in office; if McCain is elected he’s going to die of old age, and if Obama wins, he’ll be assassinated by the KKK .

Who are you with ? And for what reasons ?

What I want to say in this post may disturb some people, and others may not like what I have to say or may not agree with me, but I decided to talk about this issue to see other people’s opinions in this and to have a sane trade of ideas (please).

Before I say what I have in mind, I should emphasis that I’m a Christian Maronite and very proud to be, so I’m not trying to undermine any of the Maronites rights here.

BUT, and in time people are asking why we have that much of traitors among the Christian politicians in Lebanon, and mainly on the Maronites scene, I find in my humble thinking that the main reason for that is the Presidency chair, and the dream which invades nearly every Lebanese Maronite head since his birth of becoming President (including myself), and we have many samples to prove it, unfortunately bad ones.

LOOK AT OUR HISTORY, it was and still full of differences between Maronite leaders, if anyone still remember the “Nahej” and the “Hilf” (النهج والحلف) in the 50s and 60s, and later in the 70s and 80s (Sleiman Frangieh vs Lebanese Front leaders), passing on to the late 80s and 90s with Michel Aoun and le petit Sleiman, arriving to Elias Hrawi, Emile Lahoud and Michel Sleiman among others.

All those named here and others were and still are ready to do anything, whatever it is, to become Presidents, or even to extend their stay in Baabda.

They have launched wars after wars (aka Aoun), destroying the country (aka Aoun, Lahoud), dividing the Christian community (Aoun, both Frangieh the grandfather and le petit), selling themselves and their people to anyone who can help them to get the chair (Aoun, Frangieh, Hrawi, Lahoud, and more than 1000 others), change their beliefs and principles (Aoun, Lahoud, Sleiman), and to commit murders (Lahoud), everything for the chair.

So, and as a result, I Rodge the Lebanese Maronite from Mount Lebanon, clearly ask everyone concerned to take away this position from Maronites for God sake, or else we will keep on killing each others.

In fact, we should ask ourselves what our former Presidents have achieved for us by sitting in that chair?? Nothing, most of them haven’t done anything special for us, in fact they hurt us a lot, look what Lahoud did, see what Aoun did and still doing, both Frangiehs, Hrawi, and maybe Sleiman in the future.

Personally I prefer a Kurdish coming from anywhere in this world to be President IF he will make my country better and serve it with loyalty and faith and ensure us a better life, and make me and other immigrants think of coming back to Lebanon.

Eventually maybe it is better for us to have another chair, maybe PM or speaker of the Parliament, they are more effective, look at Berri for instance, he was ruling the country for the past couple of years, refusing to open the parliament and keeping the key of all the solutions with him.

In conclusion, I want, and I think you all do, what is best for Lebanon, no matter who will bring it, because IF we can’t have a GOOD and STRONG and POWERFUL Maronite president (like BASHIR or maybe DSG or anyone who could be strong enough), a president that we can elect with our own will and not by the others’ agreements, why would we need that position?? Let us refuse it, maybe we’ll live in peace and unity after.

Aoun: Iran is Lebanon’s Vital Depth
Free Patriotic Movement leader Gen. Michel Aoun on Saturday said Iran is Lebanon’s “vital depth.”
“Iran, to us, is a very important regional power. It has empowered us and participated in rebuilding Lebanon,” Aoun told visiting students at his residence in suburban Rabiyeh, east of Beirut.
He pledged that his FPM would emerge victorious from the 2009 parliamentary elections “irrespective of what they do.”

DAMASCUS (Reuters) - Syria said on Sunday that American helicopters attacked a Syrian border point with Iraq, causing casualties.

The official Syrian news agency SANA said the attack took place in the Bou Kamal border area, in eastern Syria. Bou Kamal is the main crossing point into Iraq from Syria.

Residents said the attack targeted a house in the area in which a man, his four sons and two nearby workers were killed.

A Pentagon spokesman in Washington said he had no immediate information on the reported strike but would check further.

A U.S. military spokesman in Baghdad also said he had no immediate information but was checking into the reports.

The United States and the U.S.-backed Iraqi government blame Syria for not doing enough to stop anti-U.S. rebels, including al Qaeda fighters, from infiltrating over the border.

Why is the LF so excited about having a “reconciliation” with this low-life?

First off, it shouldn’t even be called a reconciliation; it would be nothing but an awkward meeting where they sit there an smile to each other, and nothing changes when it comes to the things that matter.

Second, we don’t need a “reconciliation” with this miserable man.  He is meaningless and insignificant and lives off the publicity that is created when his thugs commit a crime.  Shouldn’t the LF be doing business with ’the big boys’?  We shouldn’t be wasting our time on Frangiyyeh and Karami and all that Syrian scum.

He’s the one putting a million obstacles in front of this meeting, so why is the LF still asking for it?  He will never forgive Hakim for what he thinks Hakim did no matter what, so why are we wasting our time?

He said it himself that he doesn’t need this reconciliation, so sittin sene 3le howwe, we don’t need him.

Guys, I know I haven’t written in a while but I though that I would update you on the latest in retarded theories the Aounies , with the help of Najah Wakim and some of his scummy friends, have come up with.

Just the other day I was sitting listening quietly to a Aouny who is close to Najah Wakim. This is no easy task for me since I have a tendency to want to smack someone like that in the teeth with a baseball bat every time they defend syria. Yet just this once I decided to listen to the circular, redundant arguments as they spun in brainwashed orange yellow propaganda.

I thought I had heard it all, from the usual aouny phobias and diseases such as harirophobia to the deadly envyofgeageaitus to the annoyusjumblattus or the famous condition called saudisalafitis.

Then we began talking about who killed Pierre Gemayel.

AND LO AND BEHOLD ! I heard the Latest theory since they gave up on Amin Gemayel killing his own son or Samir Geagea doing what he does best……

SO GUESS WHO KILLED PIERRE GEMAYEL……………….ok hold yourself from laughing out loud…..hold yourself…..hold it …..hold it

Yes you didnt Guess……. IT WAS THE IRAQI KURDS…….hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

I swear I couldn’t keep a straight face while listening to this misguided young man actually tell me that.

I said ” THE KURDS???? are you kidding me” of course he answered with the typical AOUNY response….” Ana 3andi ma3loumat inta ma 3andak yeha” ( I have information you don’t have) .

I was in such awe and hysterical joy for actually being able to hear a brand new Aouny Propaganda that didnt involve Hariri, Jumblatt, Geagea or Prince Bandar or the Slafis…that I sat and listened intently…… he went on mocking me as if I was stupid for not knowing this obvious fact as he told the story

Apparently when Saddam was removed from power they sent Billions of dollars to Lebanon and deposited them with several Lebanese corrupt politicians one of whom was Amine Gemayel naturally….since Geagea was in jail.

Later when Saddam was killed and the Kurds came to power in the Iraqi government they came and asked for all the money back that Saddam stole. Everyone gave the money back to the Kurds except…….you guessed it …Amine Gemayel….who said to the Kurds when they visited him ” Ma ilkon shi ma3i” ( I have nothing of yours) … NOTE : By the way I love when Aounies give quotations of things that happened (usually before they were born) with people that they hate. They always seem to be able to give an exact quote to make their story more authentic.

The Kurds then threatened Amine that he would be very upset if he didnt give back the money but Amine being the greedy bastard that he is refused to give the money back to the nice Kurds.

A few weeks later 15 Kurds landed in Lebanon and after doing surveillance and following Pierre around , they shot him and then immediately got back on a plane and went to Iraq. Of course the Aouny claimed that he had detailed information that could be shown at any time to prove this theory even down to the names of the Kurds and what seats they had on the Middle East Airlines Flight they took to downtown Kurdistan.

On a final note, I asked him ” Why don’t they reveal this info to the public?” He replied …” heik khabriyyeh ma btitkhabbar” ( you cannot expose such a story) . and since he was talking down to me like I was an imbecile for not having inside info like him…I didnt bother to ask his Highness anymore logical questions for fear that he would expose me and tell how the Colombian FARC made me fail calculus in 1996 at LAU.

And thus was the Mystery of Pierre Gemayel’s asassination solved. And by the way their is no coincidence that Syria was not involved in this targetted killing either. The Aounies for some mysterious reason can never blame Syria for anythng anymore. If you tell them that A Syrian is a Syrian , they will deny it and call him a Hawaiian. Even if you show them a syrian passport, they will claim that Hariri paid for someone to forge the passport.

A Syrian blogger has been reading our blog lately and i quote him “have been discovering how much misconceptions some parties in Lebanon have about Syria ,and how this ignorant( sometimes can be described as racist )views and opinions reflect an existent sentiment in Lebanon that in turn affect the political positions taken by various political leaders.”

First of all, i was surprised that they allow blogs in Syria, specially blogs that promote dialogue with Israel. Just check that blog and judge for yourself.

Note that i am totally for such initiatives, and i was invited to write on this blog, but i declined the offer since it would cost me years in jails if they found out what i am doing in Lebanon.

Nonetheless, i would like to enlighten our dear ignorant Syrian author, who doesnt even know how to spell “relations” (Syrian Lebanese Official realtions), on certain issues related to this new trap Syria is setting up for Lebanon.

- Syria did not acknowledge the Shebaa Farms yet as Lebanese.
- Syria is still invading lands in the Beqaa and in the North.
- Syria is still controlling many intelligence groups and training assassination squads and militias in Lebanon.
- Syria still did not return any of our political prisoners etc .. etc .. etc ..

So Mr.Homsi, yes i am racist against Syria, against its regime and against everyone supporting this regime and every single military soldier or worker or intelligence officer i see on Lebanese soil …
