In the name of the Strategic Alliance
Posted by N10452Since when a convention held in Lebanon by the ISF & Security forces is started with an islamic prayer ??
So what if it is a convention for the Arab police responsibles ?
This is Lebanon and not KSA and this is unacceptable, not to mention Achraf Rifi’s surprising speech on how The Palestinian cause is our concern and resolving it is the basis for defeating terrorism ?
And why were Journalists treated that way ??
You can read the whole article here, walla pathetic.

I meet with Michel Aoun, we agree on voting him as president.
Everyone shows up at the electoral session, and we vote for a 14M president ..
That way Hezbollah is screwed, Syria is screwed and we prevail without having to put Aoun as president.
This is how we should deal with Syria & its allies, since no dialogue is fruitful with them.

Hezbollah tripling his arsenal and our problems are tripling as a consequence …
This is Hezbollah’s vision of Lebanon, at a continuous state of war with Israel .. a Lebanon destroyed and demolished …
Different scenes exposing the deep divisions within our society …
Weaker Christians means Weaker Lebanon ..
Divided Christians means Divided Lebanon ..
Non-Free Christians means the end of Lebanon ..
Keep that name in mind, Arkadi Gaydamak is probably Israel’s next # 1 politician.
I was watching a documentary on this guy and i read a bit about him and he is quite impressive and apparently on his way to rule Israel after he conquered Jerusalem and has become a celebrity in Israel.
The man is doing step by step a perfect job to gain people’s trust and their votes, and is helping the Israeli & Jewish community like no one is, something not very familiar to the Lebanese politicians
During the July war, he built a huge refugee camp for Israelis endangered by the rockets launched by Hezbollah’s Terrorists and provided shelter and entertainment for over 27000 jews.
He has a media group, a political party, sport clubs, president of the Congress of Jewish Religious Communities and Organizations of Russia etc etc ..
He bought one of the most popular Football clubs in Israel (Beitar Jerusalem) and his son has another club in England ( Portsmouth F.C).
The man however is accused of tax evasion and illegal arms dealing in France and has fled the country since then and currently travels with his Angolan passport ..

14 March wins USJ Elections ..
Posted by N10452
The 14 March parties won most of the faculties in the USJ elections today. Aoun’s popularity is diminishing day after day.
I have only one wish though, is that those student elections one day be strictly academic and not purely political, and serve the students first and not fuel the tensions btw the students.

George Salibi of Lebanon’s New TV interviewed Michel Hayek for an update on his predictions. Hayek is famous for his predictions, which in most cases turned out to be true. Many refer to Hayek as Lebanon’s Nostradamus
Here is an update on his predictions.
Hayek is predicting that the current developments will turn out to be better for Lebanon
The presidential entitlement is being used as an excuse in a scheme to target the nation of Lebanon
The scheme aims at the homeland, and not the Presidency of the Republic ( he added )
The presidential election will take place despite the current opposition
The financial situation in Lebanon and the rest of the world will face several bumps and “I urge Riad Salame the governor of the central bank to be cautious and alert ” he said
There will be no civil war but Lebanon will face internal problems , unrest and clashes
The economic situation in Lebanon will overcome the pitfalls
Lebanon will witness a surge in real estate market activity
Lebanon to host several global economic conferences
High honor awards will be given to Laila al Solh and May Chidiac, “as well as to two other Lebanese whose names are not clear in my memory ” he added
In the near term does he does not see any partitioning of Lebanon . He also does not see the end of the series of assassinations despite the discovery by the security services of several threads to these assassinations.
Lebanese skies will witness major fireworks to celebrate the fall of the Israeli leader
Border clashes between Lebanon, Syria and Israel
Shaker Al-Absi ( fugitive leader of Fatah al Islam) will show up again, and his case will no longer be ambiguous
Opposition tents cause some internal problems. Some tents will soon be dismantled and their occupants are preparing for departure.
Commander Michel Suleiman of the Lebanese army, will face a scheme aimed at what the army has accomplished
Riots targeting the overall situation will take place
The army will witness many changes in its ranks
Attempts to strike the Lebanese military institution
There will be a coup attempt and the army will firmly confront the local forces behind it. Many civilians behind the coup will pose as military personnel but the army will confront them and take control of the situation.
Michel Aoun and Fouad Siniora will be the latest targets in a new conspiracy scheme
The highest authority of the Party of God ( Hezbollah ) will take a decision that will surprise everyone regarding an issue that affects one of its symbols.
A problem arises from the erection of a poster in one of the Lebanese regions
( French president) Sarkozy will face a complex crisis which will leave negative effects
In addition to his predictions , Hayek this time offered some advice:
Advised US President George W Bush to withdraw his army from all over the world for the sake of peace .
Told Syrian president Bashar Assad. We want to live with you as two brotherly nations on the basis of mutual respect, sovereignty, freedom and independence.
Advised President Ahmadinejad ( of Iran ) to prove that the nuclear installations in Iran are for peaceful purposes
It is mostly rumors till now, and most officials are denying it ..
I found an article i could not open on that site , it is entitled : The Planned US Airbase at Kleiaat, Lebanon ( Under Industry News : Future Growth ).
Now if you google this title, you will find other articles on this issue, but not sure if it is the same.
Excerpt from another article on that issue :
On July 14, 1982, (Bastille Day) the late Bashir Gemayel sat with Ariel Sharon, Raphael Eytan, and Danny Yalon at the French flag draped Le Chef Restaurant in Ashifeyih, east Beirut for one of their working lunches [...] .
I dont honestly see how could an American/NATO base harm us, on the contrary it will boost the economy in some regions and it will strenghen the security as well .. You tell me it will attract more terrorists, i tell you close the Syrian borders, you wont get anymore terrorists .. we all know where they are coming from, what is needed is a decision to stop them from coming in ..
I hope we will have this base by the end of this year.

Antoine Ghanem memorial mass 2007-10-28
Posted by YRoad Safety in Lebanon ..
Posted by N10452I spotted this banner on the road today, and another one showing how the army & the ISF are working together to defeat terrorism, but i started asking myself how efficient is the job being done ..
Lebanon unfortunatelly is an open space for many intelligences, and it is very hard to have a non-infiltrated intelligence, but i find it hard to believe we cannot come up with a group of professionals loyal to their institution and doing their job properly. If it is that hard, we can always get paid foreign professionals to do the job.
Since i believe in pragmatic & practical solutions, and just to show that am not talking for the sake of it, i will expose two examples of assassinations that occured and the incompetence our security forces have shown :
1- Antoine Ghanem & Gebran Tueni’s assassinations :
Both Anti-Syrian MPs were killed by a car bomb, and both were outside Lebanon and got back and Airport intelligence ( pro-syrian loyal to Lahoud), informed the ‘assassins’ about their arrival. How hard is it to put people in charge of monitoring those checking in & out passengers, those providing the lists of passengers arriving and leaving ?? it cant be that hard.
Ghanem came with a fake passport, someone visually saw him and reported it, it cant just be lists ..
Monitor everyone providing lists, restrict the lists to specific people, monitor the mails sent, monitor the janitors, monitor anyone suspicious or taking documents with him home … it cant be that hard.
2- Assassination of Pierre Gemayel :
Pierre was the only MP assassinated without a car bombing, he was shot in the middle of the day by armed men who managed to escape quickly and hide. He was being very closely monitored and was killed very easily ( unfortunatelly).
Now everyone knew Pierre was targetted, he was an Anti-Syrian MP, and potential next president and a young man with a bright future in politics. How hard is it to put a group of 5 to 10 people monitoring his every move ?? people who could have anticipated the assassination and acted in time ??
Those will monitor those monitoring him, it sounds easy and it is, and again if you cant trust local people, get foreign professionals, there are tons of security companies who would gladly assist us.
We have the “che3bit el ma3loumet” which are supposebly trusted people loyal to M14, but i dont see efficiency at all, i see a lack of personel and lack of competence and professionalism .. i understand the security institutions are still infiltrated with Pro-Syrians, but we can do better than that … we have a list of targets, the easiest thing is to monitor them the same way criminals do, that way we will end up monitoring the criminals

A BIG NO to Aoun
Posted by N10452One common argument that i keep hearing lately by non-Aounists but neutral Christians is that Aoun deserves presidency because he gained the most seats in the last elections or heading polls, or because he is old and wont have another chance ( so 7aram let us give him this seat .. how bad can he be ?? )
The 2nd argument is truly pathetic and i wont bother answering it ..
As for the first one, i will not bother discuss the last elections held, and how Dr.Geagea was in prison and Aoun came back with new reforms and a new deceptive method to convince Christian voters that Jumblatt & Hariri are evil and he is the savior and that HA is a milita that is serving Syria’s interests of course ..
I will assume Aoun won the seats fairly and debate why he should not become president under any circumstances, and by any, i mean ANY !
1- The Lebanese system is based on a parliamental vote, and it is the majority in the parliament that votes for a president, and that majority is not Aoun’s majority, so constitutionally speaking he has no ‘legitimate’ right whatsoever to claim he deserves it.
2- Aoun does not have 70% of the Christians, Aoun is nothing without his allies and that was proven clearly in the last Matn elections where he lost his ‘Maronite’ majority, so he cannot claim as well his right to be president.
3- A president is not ‘traditionally’ nor ‘constitutionally’ the one with the highest popularity ( not proven though), and most importantly and thats what matters most to me, a president must have what it takes to be president and Aoun doesnt have ANYTHING a president must have.
- He is psycho and loses his temper.
- He is old and unstable mentally.
- He has no manners and could embarass us diplomatically.
- He has a past full of failures ( militarily & politically) and am talking objectively.
The only reason Aoun has any chances is because HA & the rest of 8M are pushing him and supporting him ( for their own purposes), but deep inside, i am quite sure they dont want him.
Getting Aoun into presidency is a suicide, it is not a compromise.
So i suggest all those considering this option to take it back and rethink of what this man is capable of .. and encourage young intellectual & Ambitious Maronites ( not necessarily from M14 or M8) to get to presidency.
Regards.
The Syrian regime in action ..
Posted by N10452Now i understand some countries are for death penalty while others are against .. but hanging 5 criminals and leaving them for hours for all to see …
Why would anyone wanna do that ??
Well Our ‘non-enemy’ friendly and peace-loving ( mahek ?) Syrian regime apparently enjoys doing that ..
Kalem el ness 2007-10-25
Posted by YMoawad Camp ..
Posted by N10452Well well, Who would have thought ??
![]()
Michel Moawad apparently needs security from Frangiehs’ thugs and started training his bodyguards .. chou el Irange a7san minno .. I wonder why no one made a big fuss out of it yet …
It is maybe surprising that i post this while i am sure Irangists would kill themselves to get those pictures .. Source is unreliable of course, but pictures do speak for themselves unless its some major photoshop work … ( definitly not a Aounist work though lool, its well done ), and i find it necessary that we post them and expose some of M14’s mistakes before opponents do ..
Accountability is the only way to get anywhere ..
I worry when i see those pictures, do we need those camps ?? who are we arming ourselves against ??
Of course this looks like everything but a training camp, but this heavy presence of weapons and this new trend of getting guns to camps is worrying ..
Must i ask as well ? Where are the ISF to stop those people ?
I saluted them for catching Aounists, they should do the same and investigate Moawad’s men and anyone organizing such camps ..
Happy Bday Hakim
Posted by N10452Even though this is a non-political post, Hakim deserves it …

A man who spent most of his life struggling for our Cause, from his beginnings in Bsharreh against the Syrians, to liberating Christian villages in the North from Palestinians, to assuming the LF leadership after Bashir, restructing the LF from A to Z, protecting our regions, facing all odds and going to prison to save his men and preserve his principles ..
Happy Bday Hakim … wou 3a 2bel el 100.
Do you consider Syria an enemy ?
Posted by N10452Here is a poll i started today:
Is Syria an enemy ?? To me, its like asking me if i breathe or not ..
However, there are still people who find ways to say Syria is not an ennemy, but an Arab country who helped us ..
Can you imagine a French defending Hitler for invading France and walking on the Champs Elysees ?? Can you imagine an American defending the Japanese for their attack on Pearl Harbor ? Can you imagine a Japanese defending the Americans for dropping the A-bomb on Hiroshima ??
As irrational and idiotic as that may seem, we have such people in Lebanon, Mainly our dear Hezbollah supporters ..
Check out their logic :
“Syria is an Arab country. You can’t take to court any Lebanese that deals with Syria. If you believe otherwise, well i wish you luck…..”
A traitor is that who helps the enemy against his own people.
Did the people of Lebanon define Syria as enemy? The answer is a big NO
The martyrs who died, the families who lost their sons and relatives, the houses that got destroyed, the hospitals that got bombed, the politicians & Journalists that got killed … all those according to this twisted Hezbollah logic say NOOOO Syria is our best friend !
If i were president, i would issue a law asking any Lebanese who supports Syria and does not consider it an enemy to pack his bags and leave to Syria, or else i will kick him out myself ..
