Manar TV representative buying Israeli goods ?

Sunday, September 30th, 2007

If only i had a camera to take few shots of Manar’s TV representative buying goods from Estee Lauder in Dubai just a week ago ..
I tried getting the name but i couldnt manage it so far .. but i believe it is still worthy posting about ..

Talk about hypocrisy, a “Divine” resistance attacking Israel and boycotting the Americans and the Western and their representative buying jewish products in a shop that is forbidden in Lebanon ??

I am not surprised at all to be honest, and i will keep believing that during the Israeli invasion of the South, there was a drug traffic conducted by few HA men with the Israelis ..

On Hezbollah & Education

Sunday, September 30th, 2007

I felt obliged to translate the documents Othello posted previously, just to expose The Islamization Hezbollah is after and how ignorant and mis-oriented are the Christians allying themselves to such a party.

The title of the communique is : Suspicious Researches and is written by Hezbollah’s Student Recruiting section. ( specifically here the Lebanese University students).

It is no more a secret to anyone, that at the time our nation ( Islamic nation) has reached almost its peak in terms of understanding the different aspects and visions of Islam, some delinquant and arrogant forces from all sects and directions are trying to preserve its positions by keeping away the process of evolution and change that our people is enduring and turning their positions and fields of action to closed islands.

And to honest, one must say that the Lebanese University, the so-called University of the weakened ones, even if those beloning to the Political Maronistism group are strangling it and are promoting the Western culture and feeding it to our society and therefore keeping this university a closed island by stopping the process of change that we are supporting.

Even though our students are playing a crucial role in getting back to the “authentic” thinking and walking on the same path as our nation ( islamic), those who are in charge are not coping with that change and putting a stop it and here remains the biggest problem.

It is not normal that while our nation (islamic) is achieving one of its amazing victory over Israel and The Imperialists, some factions of the university are showing it as a loss and promoting a western thinking while clearly shows their alliance to the West culturally & politically. While this is considered a non-appreciation of the nation’s ( islamic) achievements, it is also considered a backstabbing.

Additionally, we have the right to question the researches done by some experts in the socio-political fields on Islam and Muslims in some highly-inhabited popular regions, or initiate sectarian tensions in some villages, or dig into the history of families and sects and emphasis on the fights and divisions and wars that those families or sects witnessed. What is the purpose behind such a research ?

And why dont those researches and studies aim at showing the positives sides of our community and help unite and strenghen our community against the Western imperialism and influence on our society.

Finally we would like to emphasis on the following points:

First: It is time or maybe its too late for the intellectuals to do a necessary review on their role and their mission, which does not mean unifying the political & religious belongings, Even if we are working for that purpose, since everyone has his freedom of speech and belief, but it is forbidden to betray the nation ( islamic) and backstabb it.

Second : We hope that the researches direct their studies in a positive way, and we warn them from continuing in their suspicious researches that are meant to serve the West, and reserve our right to boycott such studies that threaten the security of our Islamic nation and its institutions and positions.

Third: We warn all those with bad intentions, or anyone who wants to weaken the Islamists students or teachers, and we reserve every right to protect them and defend them.

La la Chicken

Saturday, September 29th, 2007

PS: Another non political post to satisfy the demands of our dear readers ( this one is dedicated to Sonyah )

Another “famous” place to go to in Lebanon .. el “Lala”
This 1967 small restaurant only does chicken sandwiches, does not even serve potatoes with them, yet is highly frequented and his prices are not cheap at all considering the small size of his sandwich. ( 3500LL the sandwich)

Its quite funny how the Lebanese idiolize those places even though there is nothing that special about them, such places are becoming part of our tradition and its a good ‘tradition’ for a change.

Honestly though, i didnt like his sandwiches quite much, i prefer Boubouffe for such sandwiches. ( Another old restaurant but quality one).

Lala is in Achrafieh on the street behind Spinneys, just ask anyone there and they ll tell you.

HA’s views towards the Lebanese University

Saturday, September 29th, 2007

From a book by Fadi Toufik entitled: بلاد الله الضيقة ,الضاحية اهلا وحزب

Its a communique by Hezbollah’s Student Recruiting section, and how they view it as pro-western and therefore bad.

Now, I truly wish our Aouni friends would read these books to see what they signed up for in the famous MoU, nd perhaps they can ease up on accusing M14 of Islamizing Lebanon

Part 1Part 2

Why was the martyrs mass cancelled?

Friday, September 28th, 2007

Before anyone jumps into early conclusions, i decided to argue such ‘hot’ topics related to the LF in a more reasonable and argumentative and calm tone just so some Lfers dont get annoyed and think am critisizing for the sake of it ..

I will present my arguments and i hope whomever is in charge of those events or preparing them to listen and give me a constructive feedback :

1- The poster for the event is very badly designed, i mean even an amateur could come up with something better. Last year’s poster was truly beautiful, i dont understand what happened this year but its ok, it is much better than any other party’s posters ..

2- The mass was planned @ the Fouad Chehab Stadium. I have addressed this issue in previous years and repeat it here. A mass is supposed to be a serene occasion to celebrate our martyrs and honestly a football stadium is not quite the most decent place.
Now if we are going to hold a festival after the mass, i am 100% for it but let us keep the mass in a decent place.
For ex, i would suggest make a non-public mass in 7arissa and then the festival in the Stadium.

3- Cancelling the mass is totally inappropriate for all sorts of reasons. Security reasons ?? just keep the mass and cancel the festival .. i dont see any other valid reason for cancelling a tradition such as this, its like cancelling the Bashir Gemayel mass.

Awaiting constructive feedbacks.

I was going through my archives today by mistake and found some amazing articles and pictures i had scanned years ago …
I had a lot of time on my hands years ago and used to go through books and articles anywhere i go ..

One book i found once was written by a barber about the incidents btw the Christian militias & Palestinians back in the early and mid 70s …

Looking back at those articles is quite interesting .. i will try post most of them in later posts …

Here is a very old article i scanned showing Sheikh Bashir & Amine :

Hezbollah militant escapes blast

Thursday, September 27th, 2007

What a joke those people are … Assassination attempt 2el !!

Hear this:

An HA responsible escaped an ASSASSINATION attempt after he managed to jump out of the car on time .. however the BOMB planted was a hand grenade on the front wheel or the car loool ..
And who is to blame ?? Israel !

And can you possibly doubt that story ?? Israeli has been sending its mossad agents to plant hand grenades on HA responsible cars … is it so hard to believe ??

Those people seriously need to watch some movies or more series on TV, cause their imagination sucks …

Here s the article from BBC and HA’s newspaper Al-Akhbar:

The explosion happened in the Hezbollah stronghold of Baalbek, near the Syrian border, but caused no casualties, police have said.
The Hezbollah official had got out of the car moments before the blast, reports have said.
Hezbollah blamed Israel for a “treacherous assassination attempt”. Israel denied it was behind the blast.
“The Zionist enemy is fully responsible for the operation’s planning and execution,” Hezbollah said in a statement broadcast on its al-Manar Television. “The Islamic resistance will fully shoulder its responsibility in this regard and do what is necessary,” it went on.

From HA’s papers, Al-Akhbar

Remembering May Chidiac’s bombing

Wednesday, September 26th, 2007

Who would have thought a female journalist such as May Chidiac could be a victim of the ongoing assassinations against Anti-Syrian figures …

Yet it happened, and it proved once again that we are dealing with criminals that know no shame, no respect, no nothing … and i wouldnt mind comparing them to pure instinctful animals who kill for fun ..

The news honestly shocked me when i first heard it .. May Chidiac ?? what did she do ?? she hosts a political show for God’s sake and never was in any party nor was active politically .. the woman has a political opinion thats all ..

Anyway May proved how strong she was after she left the hospital, after undergoing 10 months of surgeries and physical therapy, and suffering terribly from her injuries .. She came back and is in full shape and hosting her own political program .. She doesnt complain about her situation, she only thanks God and Mar Charbel for saving her ..

I do remember though how sad she felt when she was attending Gebran Tueni’s funeral in France. That was a very moving moment and i cant take it out of my mind .. what a brave man that man was and what a huge loss for Lebanon ..

Back to May, i salute her courage, her commitment, her strengh and her faith and i can only hope the best for Lebanon when we have people like May who got almost killed for doing their jobs, yet chose to come back and continue ..

Thank you May and May God Bless you.

More Pictures of May’s asssasination attempt.

Support the Buddhist Monks ..

Wednesday, September 26th, 2007

I am not quite sure if you are following the news, but there is a major event going on in Burma ( or Mnaymar ) where hundreds of thousands of monks are protesting against Myanmar’s generals and the 1988 crackdown by General Saw Maung that caused the death of thousands of pro-democracy demonstrators.

I honestly admire their courage and their commitment, and i hope the UN & US and the whole world will be put enough pressure against those criminal general to depose them once and for all.
