I received more pictures on the Bank Med theft few days ago, i ve always wondered though what was the purpose of exposing those picture by Future TV to justify where those terrorists are getting their money from.

Why am i stating this ? for 2 reasons :

- The theft occured barely few weeks before Nahr el bared battle started, this group has been training and getting financial support for almost a year if not more.

- The police found more than 1 million dollars when they arrested them, no branch in Amyoun holds that much money.

However, i do not go accusing Hariri of financing them, instead i say lets have an investigation on that issue, and we can vote for it whenever Berri decides to open the parliament, knowing that Saad already agreed on voting on it.

I was surprised that the Tambourit incident that occured today was mentioned all over the place and mediatized that much, surprised because it is one of many incidents that occur very frequently in either Christian villages in the South or in Beirut.

In summary, Shiites from Al Ghaziyyeh would frequent Tamboureet village to drink and cause trouble, by either harassing the town girls or cussing Christian symbols. That would degenerate into fights by knifes and sticks and might involve shooting at each others, like what happened today and caused the death of Elie Youssef Hajj, a Tambourit habitant who works in the ISF as well.

Even though i believe weapons and thugs are harmful to our society, there are circumstances where you need those individuals to stand against other thugs coming and trying to provok u in ur own town. A small example is Ain el Remmaneh, a Maronite town surrounded by Shiite regions, “famous” for its thugs who make sure they teach everyone trying to provok them or insult them in their region a lesson they will never forget.

Amal & Hezbollah thugs till today try to harass the locals, by tearing Religious posters or damaging religious places, or harassing girls and men, and running away because getting caught is not an option.

Same for Hadath, Furn el Chebbak, Chiyah, Achrafieh, Maghdoucheh etc etc …

Why is that happening ?

Simply because Hezbollah is the only armed militia left in Lebanon, and its thugs know they can always get back and hide in The “secure” regions of Dahyeh once they are done. Syrian assasination squads also inhabit those hideouts in Shiite regions after they execute their killing.

Note that i was and am still against the thug mentality, and against the thugs that the LF could not control back in the late 80s, those polluted our image till today, but when faced to such people as Hezbollah & Amal, one has to focus on getting those terrorists disarmed and out of our regions. Until then, fight fire with fire.

What else can we say to our mad General ??

I have posted earlier that Aoun has damaged us Christians more than Syrians have in the past 30 years and he is proving me right on every occasion, but what saddens me still are those Christians who are too blinded to see where this crazy old megaloman is leading us ..

After failing to find any convincing argument, the reason for participating is to preserve the privileges of our institutions ..
Of course this only applies to Matn elections and not in Beirut .. And of course that is the exact opposite of what Aoun himself and even Nabil N2oula was stating yesterday.

Christians are yet again putting themselves in the middle of the crisis and are weakening each others more and more.

Sheikh Amine Gemayel presented himself as a candidate, and will be facing the experienced well-prepared FPM candidate.

-We have an anti-FPM sentiment growing since months in the Matn, yet nothing confirmed except some statistics about this drawback.

-We have tensions growing btw the Kataeb and FPM member since Pierre’s assasination and btw LFers & Fpmers since the black tuesday.

The Upcoming elections will only weaken our ranks further, cause more tensions, and eventually make the possibility of electing a new president non-existing.

Aoun is reviving history yet again by destroying any chances of uniting the Christians. Ba3ed ma nachaf dammo lal Sheikh Pierre .. sar badna na3mil from his seat an electoral battle ..

It seems Sami Gemayel will be the Kataeb candidate for the upcoming Matn elections. I heard it from many sources and it was hinted today in Annahar. I think he is their best candidate, i didnt want Amine to run honestly …better have someone fresh and Sami is in a strong position within the party now and his own group.

I cant wait to see whether Aoun is gonna participate or not …

Its been more than 6 months since Tent city was installed, a useless and hamrful tent city that has caused more than 120 jobs to close definitly.

Few are those who remember this great fighter.. William Hawi, one of the Kataeb martyrs in the Tal el Zaatar battle back in 1976. A mass remembering him was organized in Mar Mitr, Achrafieh today by the Kataeb party.

Here is a brief biography of this great man :

He was appointed Head of the Second and Fourth Districts, President of the Recruitment Bureau, Head of the Department of Security, Sport and Mobilization on May 29, 1952, and member of the Political Bureau on July 12, 1952. On June 16, 1958, William Hawi was in charge of organizing and leading the activists during the Lebanese events; this constituted the hub of the Party’s Regulatory Forces. On January 23, 1961, the Political Bureau dissolved the militants’ organization before including its members in the Lebanese Phalange Party and Hawi created the Regulatory Forces. On February 6, 1961, William Hawi was appointed Head of said Forces. In 1963, the “First Commandos” unit was created. It was followed by the “Second Commandos” unit, then by the “P.G.” troop. In 1973, the “Maghaweer” platoon was created and the “Combat School” established. Moreover, “Chef” William supervised the setting up of camps as well as the training organization and development, which enabled the progress of the regulatory process.

In 1952, the Lebanese Phalange put William Hawi up for the Beirut Municipal Council in the Achrafieh-Rmeil region, where he obtained the largest number of votes. In 1957, Hawi presented himself to the legislative elections but failed.

In 1975, Hawi was leading defense operations against the Palestinian attacks on the Souks of Beirut, Karantina, Jisr el Basha, Dekwaneh, Galerie Semaan and what is known as the “Hotels fight”.

On July 1, 1976, the sources of the Lebanese allied forces announced the fall of the last bastion in Tell el Zaatar[1] and declared that the Head of the Phalange War Council supervised this operation.

On July 13, 1976, William Hawi was killed in the middle of the battlefield in Tell el Zaatar[2] with a bullet in the forehead. Upon his death, former President Bashir Gemayel was appointed his replacement as president of the Kataeb Military Council, which later became the core of the Lebanese Forces.

After exposing the books released by Hezbollah’s divine scouts, mainly Sharon el Shereer, its time to expose how Hezbollah raises awareness among its young generations.

Hezbollah has a new character for all the children: “Sharon el Chereer”

Even though this post is under the humor section, it is real, and this character is real, it was invented by HA’s Mehdi scouts and put as the main evil character in a book for children. The small booklet is one of many published by those scouts.

The booklet, like all children books ( ma hek ?), starts with a dedication to all the martyrs who fell fighting Israel and raises awareness among the kids on the danger Israel represents ( we are talkign 6 to 10 year old here).

I am sure most of you are interested in the main plot of that book ..
I will give you a brief summary since i didnt get the book yet, hopefully within the next few days.

It is about a Kingdom called “Heaven” ( symbolizing Palestine), that was inhabited by its own people who were living peacefully and calmly until an evil king by the name of Sharon came and managed to control the Kingdom by persecuting the people and torturing and assasinating them. This bad bad king could not hear any sounds except those of the wounded and only liked the colour red, colour of blood.
Then the vilain king asked all pregnant women to drink from some liquid that will turn their kids into dwarfs, however those children were saved by a nearby king ( referencing hezbollah) etc …

Only when everything is calm and quiet, that one starts worrying if Syria and its allies have any plans for this summer.

Hezbollah has been relatively quiet for a while, havent done anything to commemorate the remembrance of war yet, no speeches by Hassan Nasrallah, no festivals no nothing ..

Last summer we were having dialogue sessions when Hezbollah decided to start his war, even though he had promised to keep the summer calm ..

Tent city is still there, Shiite ministers are still out of the government, Berri refusing to call for parliament sessions and still not confirming presidential elections date.

I seriously hope they are not cooking anything, but one can never expect anything good from 8th of March.

I guess we ll have to just wait and see ..

Al Seyassah newspapers published today an article revealing that an arrested Fat7 el Islam member confessed that Abou Yazan, another Fat7 el Islam militant, killed during the Nahr el Bared battle, was the on who emptied his machine gun on Sheikh Pierre’s head. It is said to be from reliable sources, Al Seyassah’s credibility is quite contraversial but they do have strong links and i still remember when they published about the 4 officers involved in Hariri’s assasination weeks before they got arrested.

Achraf Reefi revealed earlier this week that they almost finalized Pierre’s investigation and they do have information on the killers and the vehicle used based on testimonies from Fat7 el Islam members.

Let us hope we will finally figure out who killed Sheikh Pierre, and maybe this will pave the way for other assasinations, mainly the great Gebran Tueni, Lebanon’s biggest loss in years ..

I have been following the updates of the Nahr el Bared since day1, and supported fully and unquestionably the Lebanese Army in its decision to storm the camp and kill those terrorists. More than 80% of the Lebanese were supportive of the Army’s decision and have expressed it in several ways.

Yet there is a very worrying factor here, which is making people lose interest in supporting the army and is making them question their capability, which is the Media reporting of that battle.

There is no question this battle is a very rough one, that the unexperienced and infiltrated and underequipped Lebanese army is not prepared for such a confrontation, that even Americans are having trouble fighting such groups, but let us be honest about those facts to the people and not claim victory while the battle is still at its peak.

Elias el Murr claimed victory more than two weeks ago, yet everyday we see more and more far from that victory and from the insights on the camp, it looks like it might take few months.

The people must be well informed, must stay motivated and supportive of the army, we cannot play it the “political way” in such sensitive issues, we all saw how public opinion turned on several leaders who mis-informed their people on the outcomes of wars.

Now to give you an example, i have been reading for weeks now that the army is within 50 meters from Fat7 el Islam, that victory is very close, that the militants are desperatly fighting, that there are none left etc etc … then you hear KATYOUSHA rockets were launched from the camp ! lol ..

Again our brave army men are fighting a decisive battle in Lebanon’s history, let us not turn the people against them.

How many “ma7awir” fi and how many buildings are there still left ? and how many militants are there still ?? Arent we cornering them from all sides ? Maybe there is a network of tunnels .. Did the Army check that ??

For all those unaware of this issue, few minutes after Walid Eido’s assasination, a NBN reporter was caught cheering his death and wishing that Fatfat be the next victim.

The latest bombings and troubles in the country are causing all commercial places and mainly malls to take extreme security measures, you get checked by 10 people and a 30 000 $ bomb-sniffing dog before you get in, yet those malls are apparently so pre-occupied with terrorists that they are forgetting the simplest safety measures, like wiping off spilled oil from cars inside their parking.

And no its not a ‘usual’ thing .. specially when someone slips and hits the ground hard or who knows maybe ur grand ma or parent slips and breaks a leg.

Today i was with a friend, a very sweet and nice and lovely friend in one of Lebanon’s biggest malls ( i wont name it), and while we were going to the car, she slipped and bruised her leg .. a huge spot of oil left on the ground ..

If we were somewhere outside, we could have sued the mall but here its “normal” when you have car bombings and big scale assasinations ..

Anyway, i just thought i pass the message, and want u all to wish my friend Salemta ..

It is honestly amusing how Hezbollah and Amal and other Lebanese parties think France’s No1 is gonna change his position or stop calling HA terrorist and beg him to attend the Dialogue being held there ..

What is more amusing is that Hezbollah is trying to hide its fear from France’s strong president and his clear intentions to list HA on the list of terrorist groups, a move that might destroy the party as reported in this article.

No clarifications whatsoever were made by L’Elysee on the comments he did earlier, and if HA really expects a man like Sarkozy to change his positions, they dont have a clue who they are dealing with.
