Lfers ran away from Bhamdon and the Mountain ?? I have never seen courageous men as much as those who chose to go to The Mountain to defend our villages against the massive offensive that was being prepared by Druzes assisted by Syrians, Palestinians and even Israelis.

Barely 300 fighters held them off the assaults for more than 72 hours, and cleared the way for the army to intervene, an army that never showed up because a certain General Aoun didnt want to send them ..

No one has ever accepted to sacrifice his political carreer, his reputation to save his community from a potential massacre like Samir Geagea did back then, and even though he lost the Moutain, he was capable of saving thousands, and the LFers, mainly Fouad Abu nader back then, who was injured badly yet came back immeditaly to fight after getting treated, showed an unseen resistance and an oustanding courage ..

Read Paul Andari’s book, a man who lost his brother in front of his eyes and who was lucky enough to survive the hell Lfers were in to tell memorable stories from the battle field.

The past few days and the next ones to come ( i hope not) are proving how “retarded” politically we are ….
Guys, and i am addressing here all Fpmers, LFers, Phalangists etc etc ….

Ya Shabeb, Aoun & Amine were today together with Kushner, it only took him few words to get them together.
Aoun & Geagea met in prison after 15 years of personal attacks and war between them ..

We did not live their wars, we do not know about their politics as much as they do … we dont need to translate their fights to the street .. We can democratically critisize others and even attack them politically without the need to break his head of damage his car …

Elections are next sunday, i ask you all to debate in a civilized manner, that doesnt mean 7ebbo ba3ed .. just dont do the street talks, i honestly feel digusted reading some comments even though i get dragged myself to such discussions .. i still feel ashamed of myself and i dont mind admitting it ..

That is the key here, admitting our mistakes, accepting our differences and understanding that Lebanon is the biggest loser from all that, and Syria and its friends are the winners, just look at how calm and serene was Hassan Nasrallah ( and am sure delighted and satisfied of the tensions btw us Christians) when he was speeching the last day.

Such Hypocrites are the ones who deserve being angry at, deserve defying their ideologies and destructive plans even if it means engaging in street fights ..

Let us always remember it is Lebanon we are fighting for, neither Amine or Aoun or Geagea …

As i expected, after getting beaten last time they tried to close roads, FPMers have been recruiting zo3ran and arming some of them with the help of its allies mainly Hezbollah and the Snoopies (SSNP).

Today, based on information from a reader of our blog who was there, ( he will be providing us with a video tomorrow), Aounists along with SSNP and Hezbollah went in car convoys armed and attacked in Broummana 9 Kataeb & LF supporters.

They were around 50 and most of them bodyguards or security men, and they beat the young LF and Kataeb members with sticks. Others came to support the guys getting beaten and taught those FPM-Snoopy thugs a lesson.

SSNP announced today they will be supporting Aoun’s candidate, not much of a surprise.

I just want to congratulate Aoun for the SSNP votes he will be getting, i would personally be ashamed to even mention it if SSNP had chose to support Amine.

Filthiest party, bunch of criminals and traitors, assasins of Sheikh Bashir Gemayel and potential killers of Sheikh Pierre Gemayel, all will be voting for Camille Khoury.

After all, come to think of it, both are serving Syria, each with his own methods, but the ultimate goal is the same, whether its done intentionally or not.

Looks like Aoun gave instructions to all his assistants and FPM responsibles to behave in a thugish way, and Antoine Nasrallah performed very well today, he could get himself an Oscar for his “yelling” on Nharkoun Sa3eed on LBC today.

He called to answer Sejaan Azzi and insulting Jihad Az3our and accusing him of being on Hariri’s payroll.
Yes if you are not politically affiliated Christian or not with the FPM, then you get paid by Hariri, such a rational argument !!

It never occured to Mr Narrow-minded Nasrallah that some ministers dont really care about political parties and tensions as long as they are left to do their jobs properly as professionals, as technocrats ..

Sejaan Azzi’s answer was right on the money, can be resumed in two points :

1- FPM are participating for pure personal reasons.
2- The “moutellatte” that Hezbollah and Amal proposed is a fact, unlike what Antoine Nasrallah said that Hassan Nasrallah denied it. It was proposed back in 1985 by Berri during the Triparty agreement and proposed again in 2007.

There are few more Aounist thugs that will be emerging next week, most probably Ibrahim Kenaan and Nabil N2oula …

- Aoun considers elections in Beirut illegal but in Matn legal ?? Why ??

- Aoun wants to go into elections to protect democracy, yet he appoints himself eternal leader of his party ??? keeeef ??

An explosion was heard in Syria, killing 15 soldiers and woudning at least 50, looks like our friend was too excited and detonated it in Syria before it reached Lebanon

An official at Aleppo University Hospital said the bodies of five dead soldiers and 10 wounded were brought to the facility.(AP-Naharnet)

Al-Akhbar have been posting articles from AngryArab blog for a while now, articles full of hatred towards the Christian parties in Lebanon ( mainly the LF & Kataeb) and of course Anti-American Anti-Zionist ( as they call them) posts.

If i were the head of Kataeb or LF nowadays, i would have sued such papers and this author cause of the numerous false accusations and namings, but for now i can only comment on his article and explain to the readers the false accusations being addressed to Sheikh Bashir Gemayel, the Phalanges and the Lebanese Forces.

Here are few mistakes commited am sure on purpose by our dear author to disrespect Sheikh Bashir and the LF & Kataeb’s history.

Accusing Bashir of being a loyal ally to Israel, and comparing him to Assem Kanssouh and his relation with Syria and denying the fact that Bashir had an argument with the Israelis…. i wish our professor had done further studies to realize how Sharon was pissed from Bashir for not offering him enough and how Bashir was always after the Americans rather than the Israelis.

After that, he moves on to throw another lie on the Kataeb party and Sheikh Pierre Gemayel its founder.

Again i expect a professor in a respectable American university to do his research properly and realize Sheikh Pierre was not impressed by the Nazis but rather by the Sokols, a youth movement in an Eastern European country. The Kataeb ideology is closer to secularism than to Nazism if you had read it Mr.AngryArab.

Again he bashes Sheikh Bashir Gemayel saying it is disgraceful to talk about electing him rather than appointing him … He was elected whether you like it or not and he was the only president capable of saving Lebanon from this Syrian filth and Arab filth eating it.

The Lebanese Forces is not a fanatic party, maybe u should bother read their manifesto and not judge on what happened in the war.

Finally, another insult to Sheikh Bashir Gemayel calling him an Israeli agent …

If Sheikh Bashir is annoying that much, that probably shows how great this man was, and shows how weak are your subjective and unbased arguments when addressing El Bash.

A last word, the conclusion of that article, as much as unpleasant to you, is quite an achievement for Lebanon, and i hope what you are saying is true, and that one day the whole country will be united against The Palestinians & Syrians and kick them out of our country, maybe then we will live in peace.

For those who dont know about him, he is a corrupted MP who was getting paid by Saddam and was campaigning with Hezbollah in the last July war.

Yep you probably guessed it right, protests and burning tyres ceremonies occured few days ago in Da7yeh and its surroundings cause of the continuous electricity cuts in the region.

How unfair from our government !! How can you deprive a whole region that doesnt pay bills, lives on illegal properties, is protected by an illegal militia, from electricity ???

But anyway back to the major points discussed, if i remember properly, Nasrallah said he started this war for two major reasons :

- Free the prisoners in Israel.
- Israel was already preparing a war so he surprised her.

No prisoners were freed of course, instead we have more prisoners now in Israel, and many from Hezbollah.

The 2nd point though is one that should put Nasrallah in jail for a long time if we were in a democratic country with a proper government and juridical system.

Why is that ??

After the war, Nasrallah admitted he never expected such a response from Israel and he would not have done his kidnapping if he knew ….

Then came the Report on the Israeli war and showed how unprepared and unready was the Israeli army to attack Hezbollah, therefore denying any theory of Israel launching an attack.

And few days ago, Nasrallah confirms that theory again :

“نحن كنا قد قررنا القيام بعملية أسر منذ فترة ، والأخوة كانوا قد خططوا وكانوا حاضرين بشكل دائم في تلك المنطقة التي نُفذّت فيها العملية ، وأستطيع أن أقول لك ولا أدري هذا اذا سوف يصدر في اخفاقات الجيش الاسرائيلي أم لا، ان الأخوة بقوا متوجدين في تلك المنطقة لعدة أشهر ، لما لا يقل عن ثلاثة أشهر عدا بعض الاستراحات القليلة، يعني نحن متواجدون في منطقة وفي كمين ننتظر الدورية الاسرائيلية، والاسرائيليون لم يشعروا بنا طوال هذه المدة، وكانت تمر من ذاك المكان سيارات مدنية، لم تمر خلال فترة تواجد الكمين سيارات عسكرية أوأحيانا كانت تمر سيارات عسكرية ومعها سيارات مدنية، ونحن كنا نود ومنذ البداية ان لا نُلحق أي أذى بالمدنيين ولا ان نأسر مدنيين، نحنم نريد أسر سيارة عسكرية وجنودا يلبسون الزي العسكري أثناء عملية الاسر، وبالتالي أنا والأخوة المعنيين كنا بصورة انه في أي لحظة يمكن أن تتم عملية الأسر، وكنا قد حضَرنا بعض المقدمات، وعندما بدأ اطلاق النار وأعطونا الاشارة بأن العملبة بدأت، طبعا الجهات المعنية انتقلت الى غرفة العمليات لنبقى على اتصال مع الأخوة وبدأنا باتخاذ الاجراءات المتفق عليها في وضع مشابه”.

An investigation must be done on that war, and whomever responsible for starting it and destroying our country arrested and jailed.
