Sad el Baouchrieh Bombing: A bomb was placed next to a bus parked in a residential area near Mar Takla Church in Sad el Bouchrieh. 7 people reported injured.

Update 1 : ( from an eye witness)
Army caught two people ( not lebanese) who were running away moments before the explosion, the delivery guy from a nearby snack ran after them and managed to stop them .. three other people were seen been taken away by the army.

Update 2: ( not confirmed yet)
One of the people who were running away was apparently the bus driver who parked the bus and started running.

Update 3 :(05/06/2007) Bus driver had nothing to do with the bomb, he lives nearby and parks there everyday, as per Annahar. No details about the person who was running away still.

To answer my previous post and the shameful statement upon which the LF agreed on, maybe the video will enlighten some of those wou failed to understand how disgraceful was that statement.

Who is Our army fighting ? Here are few pictures of those terrorists.

Offensive started 3 days ago and the army is progressing rapidly and efficiently.
Lebanese Army Helicopters were involved in the battles today launching missiles on the ennemies’ spots.

Continuous bombardment on the few left buildings held by Fat7 el Islam fighters and very heavy street battles between the army commandos and the terrorists.

Other Syrian-Controlled militias ( Jound el Cham mainly) tried to erupt fight in Ain el Helwe Palestinian camp in the South but failed to do so and were contained by both the Palestinian guerillas and the Lebanese Army.

Fat7 el Islam declared earlier ( as per AFP) that they will fight till the end.

I congratulate the army for those great achievements so far, ya3teekoun alf 3afye ya shabeb !

PS: i also read that more than 10 American planes will be arriving soon to deliver amunition and weapons to the Lebanese Army.

based on my previous post critisizing the job openings posted on a certain site, and just to show that i am not critisizing for the sake of it, here is a corrected version i wrote in like 10 minutes ..

I didnt write an extra professional thing, just a more appropriate one, and didnt take more time doing so just to prove no effort was put into writing this page, meaning whomever did it was not serious about it, and therefore will be damaging to the LF and this whole reform project rather than helpful.

Feel free to send it to whomever is in charge there and use it, i dont want any credits nor thanks whatsoever.

I got lots of attacks when i said the army is gonna chicken out in an earlier post, and honestly i am glad i was proven wrong ( at least today) and i am glad the army stormed the camp and is killing those terrorists ..

Maybe they need someone to blast them and wake them up …
I NEVER doubted the army men, i know how many brave men we have in this army, but i doubt the sissy Sleiman and many Army generals who are still too scared of taking the initiative ..

80% of the people are backing the army, the whole world is supporting its operation against the terrorist ..

I dont expect less than a smashing victory ..

إيلاف” من باريس: وصفت مراجع دبلوماسية في باريس زيارة رئيس “تكتل التغيير والإصلاح” الجنرال والنائب اللبناني ميشال عون للعاصمة الفرنسية بأنها “خائبة، لا تنطبق عليها مواصفات النجاح أبدًا”. وأشارت إلى أنه طلب زيارة وزارة الخارجية الفرنسية بإلحاح وتكرارًا، وإلى أن الوزير الجديد للخارجية برنار كوشنير امتنع عن زيارته في لبنان أو الإتصال به بناء على تعليمات الرئيس الفرنسي نيكولا ساركوزي الواضحة، في حين أنه زار رئيس الحكومة فؤاد السنيورة ورئيس كتلة “المستقبل” النائب سعد الحريري وتناول العشاء في السفارة الفرنسية مع الرئيس السابق أمين الجميّل ورئيس “اللقاء الديمقراطي” وليد جنبلاط ورئيس حزب “القوات اللبنانية” سمير جعجع والنائب بطرس حرب والنائب السابق فارس سعيد وغيرهم من أركان قوى 14 آذار/مارس في السفارة الفرنسية. ولفتت إلى أن الخارجية الفرنسية منعت إلتقاط صور أو تصوير متحالفًا مع “حزب الله” ، فضلاً عن أن اجتماع كوشنير مع الجنرال لم يستغرق أكثر من ربع ساعة، تركه بعدها مع مستشاريه، مما يعتبر عدم ترحيب به باللغة الدبلوماسية.

هذا في الشكل، أما في المضمون فقد انتقد كوشنير خلال اللقاء القصير بطريقة لاذعة وقاسية مواقف الجنرال عون الأخيرة وتحالفه مع “حزب الله”، وبعدما عرض عون نفسه كمرشح ذي أحقية لرئاسة الجمهورية قائلاً إنه يمثل 70 في المئة من المسيحيين في لبنان، كان جواب كوشنير أن الأفضل للمسيحيين في هذه البلاد أن يتفقوا على مرشح وفاقي واحد، وألا يترشح أحد من تلقائه منفردًا، ويحاول فرض نفسه فرضًا على الآخرين، في إشارة إلى وجوب الإتفاق في هذا الشأن مع البطريرك الماروني نصرالله صفير وبقية الأطراف السياسية المسيحية.

وفي مقابلة تلفزيونية أجرتها القناة الفرنسية الثالثة مع عون، حرصت مقدمة الأخبار دروكير على تحجيمه ووضعته في موقف حرج بعدما عرضت شريطًا وثائقيًا يظهر فيه بصورة زعيم محرر وقائد لبناني مسيحي ضد الاحتلال السوري، لكنه يفرّ من وجه السوريين تحت جنح الظلام، وأشارت إلى “ممالأته” حاليًا للنظام السوري وإلى تحالفه مع “حزب الله” حليف سوريا، وكذلك أظهرت مقابلة مع الرئيس أمين الجميّل قال فيها إن تحالف عون مع “حزب الله” مضر بمصالح لبنان والمسيحيين فيه، وأن عون عقد هذا التحالف لإشباع مطامع شخصية . يضاف إلى ذلك أن عون كان يتكلم الفرنسية بصعوبة وبطريقة غير مفهومة، وبدا عليه التعب والإرهاق والعجز عن الإقناع، خصوصًا عندما قال إن ما دفعه إلى التحالف مع “حزب الله ” هو أن هذا الحزب يمثّل ثلث اللبنانيين وإن هذا التحالف وسيلة لإرساء السلم في لبنان.

ولم يتضمن برنامج زيارة عون لفرنسا أي لقاء صحافي أو سياسي مهم. فكل المقابلات الصحافية التي أجراها كانت لمحطات تلفزيون وإذاعات غير معروفة، عدا القناة الثالثة التي بثت المقابلة معه في وقت متأخر (الحادية عشرة والربع ليلا)، وأشارت المقدّمة الصحافية فيها إلى أن وزارة الخارجية الفرنسية منعت تصوير زيارة الجنرال تأكيدًا منها على عدم استقباله رسميًا ومعارضتها سياساته الحالية. وأكدت المراجع أن لا القناة الأولى ولا القناة الثانية ستجري أي مقابلة مع الجنرال عون، وأن الرئيس ساركوزي يرفض قطعًا مقابلته، على الرغم من كل المحاولات والوساطات التي أجراها بعض أنصار عون لهذه الغاية. وذكر عدد من المسؤولين في حزب ساركوزي وفي الإدارة الفرنسية أن الجنرال عون non grata … غير مرحب به في فرنسا، وحتى الاشتراكيون يتخذون منه الموقف نفسه.

وكان آخر تصريح لعون قد أدلى به أمس لدى إقرار مجلس الأمن المحكمة ذات الطابع الدولي لقتلة الرئيس رفيق الحريري، قال فيه :”المهم بالنسبة الى المحكمة هو أن يكون لديها متهمون… فأين هم المتهمون؟”. وأضاف: “للأسف، لم يخلص التحقيق إلى نتيجة حتى الآن ولا نزال ننتظر. نتقاتل على محكمة ليس لديها متهمون. ليس لدينا متهمون، ولا حتى شكوك ذات قيمة فعلية، والشكوك المعلنة حتى الآن خفيفة جدًا”.
