A couple of weeks ago, I was flipping through the TV channels, and suddenly reached manar TV.They had a show on, and were receiving live phone calls from viewers.A certain “Jeanette” from Kesrwan called and starts off with the usual aounistic logic and mentality.
Eventually, she came to a point where she said she wished Dr.Geagea hadn’t been released from jail, and added that she wishes he goes back there, only this time joined by Carlos Edde, Dory Chamoun, and Fares Souaid.
Why?Only because they are opposing her politically now?I hope so, because if not, then she and her general should go back to Der El Saleeb.
Those Aounists surprise me…
They forget the parts of history they want to forget, and remember the ones they want to remember.
Did they forget that most, and literally most, of the FPM supporters used to be followers of the Lebanese National Bloc (Hizb al Kitleh),and the National Liberal Party (Hizb al wataniyeen al ahrar)? What happened to the support they never ceased to receive from the late Ameed Raymond Edde?
I am in no position to defend the Ahrar or Dr.Souaid, since I don’t primarily support them, but support their cause in the 14th of March coalition.
However, I feel the need to defend the Kitleh party, which I am quite related to.
To make things clear, and provide some inside information:
General Aoun was not accepted at first to the army, due to his suffering from schizophrenia(a serious psychological disorder), and he had entered Der Al Saleeb mental institute on various occasions.Then, he goes to the Late Ameed Raymond Edde, who pulls some strings for him and gets him enrolled.I consider that the only mistake Raymond Edde had ever committed.
Moreover,ladies and gentlemen,General Aoun never responds to anything Raymond Edde had to say, or Carlos Edde has to say about him…because they are the ones who benefited him the most, by providing a huge support of crowds mainly from Jbeil Caza, and because their party and they themselves are renowned for their clean history, which no one disputes about.
In 1990, Raymond Edde accused Aoun of dealing with the Syrians in a LE FIGARO interview, and dared him to respond…ever wonder why he didn’t?
Please note that Ameed Raymond, and Ameed Carlos never speak anything absolute or uncertain of, rather everything they say is documented and backed by documents….What about the last time Carlos Edde attacked Aoun on the press a few weeks back? Why was there no response?
Another funny thing is when the aounists attack Gebran Tueni (RIP)…. Who was one of the biggest supporters of Aoun while he was still in Lebanon, and when he was exiled?Who was the only journalist who defended him and wrote for his cause? And suddenly he becomes the enemy, and when he dies we hear them calling ” Na3eeman ya Gebran…”

What a shame…
Go check your history you ignorant people… You are cutting the hand that has nourished you.

I posted this few months ago, but this post applies now as well more than ever.

The events that have been going on for the past few weeks are showing more and more that Federalism is the only way out to save Lebanon.

Some say Federalism is equal to division, some say its an American-Israeli plan, some simply attack it because the LF led by Dr.Geagea proposed it, even though it was previously sponsored by the Lebanese Front led by Pr.Camille Chamoun and Sheikh Pierre Gemayel back in 1977 an during the Deir el Bir convention in 1980 ( reference to the booklet that was issued after the convention called : The Lebanon we want to build).

Federalism is a unitarian project that is capable of preserving Lebanon’s pluralistic society and
building a true Lebanese identity. How is that ? I ll try to elaborate based on my sort of limited knowledge on the issue but i believe sufficient to prove my point.

Lebanon has always endured endless wars between its different communities, it started back in the 1800s between the uprising Christians and the powerful Druze fighting over the control of Mount Lebanon. Each community wanted to overtake the other and recurred to foreign help in order to do so.

Several regimes were implemented back then trying to resolve the crisis, Secularism failed miserably as well as Feodalism, the only system that lasted was a decentralized one keeping each community’s rights but it wasnt built on strong basis and so did not last.

What followed was the declaration of the Greater Lebanon in 1920 and the joining other communities to Lebanon, mainly the Shiite community. From 1920 till 1943, Few Christian leaders abused of their powers causing a minor revolt within the Muslim street which ended up in signing the National pact in 1943, it was more an oral agreement also built on weak basis and not taking into consideration long term effects.

I have always been keen on digging up history, especially in these dark days we are going through when accusations and counter accusations fly left and right.
 

One ironic thing I still cant get myself to swallow is the way some politicians always like to portray themselves as the ones to bring about reforms and change while painting the Lebanese Forces as a militia and a bunch of thugs.
 

And, just for the record, and to set the wandering minds straight about those matters, the Lebanese Forces has had a proven track record in working as hard on the civilian aspect of the Lebanese problems as well as fiercely fighting on the battlefield.
 

Very much unlike those that have made a living and managed to attract people around them by criticizing the LF’s every action and slandering the name of this institution.
 

I do not deny that in the past, during the bitterest years of the war that ravaged Lebanon, the Lebanese Forces acted like a militia, in fact, just like all the other warring factions that were participating in the dance of death, but, at the same time, the Lebanese Forces had in mind a vision for the country.
 

Although the Lebanese Forces started out as a grouping of militias that were all fighting to keep the country free of any foreign control, it soon realized that what they were fighting was merely the result of an unhealthy society…to win their fight they would have to go deeper to the roots of the problem and work directly on the cause.
 

Many in the Lebanese Forces leadership had a vision concerning this, a vision they wanted so hard to implement, and that was the formation of a healthy society, and from that would emerge the healthy individual, whose devotion to his country would lead him to put his countries best interests first and foremost before anything else.

A citizen who understood and appreciated his country and did not seek another place to call home.

A citizen who like Jubran once said, would not ask what his country was providing him, but rather was weary as what he could do to help out his country in need.
 

Ever since Dr. Samir Geagea took over the leadership of the Lebanese Forces, in 1986, he realized the emergency of acting on this vision and making it a reality in order to save the country from the deep dark mud it was sinking in.
 

He started working on achieving these goals, targeting primarily the Lebanese society he and his fighters were living in, in an attempt to start from home and grow outwards to engulf the whole region and then the whole country.
 

And one of the very first results that came out was Social Security.
 

Other introductions were public transport, educational reform, health care and medical assistance.
 

The reader has to understand that the mere fact of making those achievements was a miracle in a country that had been ravaged by nine terrible years  of other wars being fought on its soil…
 

And, one of the last projects before the bloody, gloomy corridor that the country would enter in 1989, a corridor that was to veil three year’s work with a shadow of blood and destructionone of the last great projects presented by the Lebanese Forces to the Lebanese people, was the “National Council For Development”.
 

This council’s motto was a very nice one: instead of providing the citizens with fish to eat, it would teach them how to fish and catch their own food.

Much like it was back in 1986, the Lebanese Forces today is still following the same road, and that is to build a solid enough Lebanese Society, a society that would be able to lift itself above the abyss most of its leaders have sought to drown it in, hoping by weakening it, to be able to better rule it.
 

I know many of my countrymen choose to remember from history what best fits their current political inclinations, but to forget your history this way would definitively mean to gamble on your future as this would leave one open to influence by any Tom Dick and Harry with an agenda to implement.

It’s strange what this country’s coming to. Actually it’s stupid.

Each side is accusing the other of the same things.
Each TV station, newspaper, and radio station informs the way it best fits its leader/owner.
Who can we trust nowadays? How do we know who’s right and who’s wrong?

In my opinion, the media should stop taking sides,and for once truthfully inform the people of what is going on. It should display correct information about all leaders and parties,rather than false ones which make blind followers increase their blindness.Otherwise, no solution can be reached.
Something needs to be done.

This is the question to ask when it comes to investigating Elie Hobeika’s assasination.
Elie Hobeika was a threat to so many local and foreign political parties, to so many countries and governments and most importantly to secret services.

On the 24th of January 2002, at 9:42 am, Elie Hobeika, known as HK, was driving his his blue Range Rover from his home in Hazmieh,with his three bodyguards, Dmitri Ajram, Walid Zein and Faris Suedan, when a white Mercedes 280, parked in a basement garage level with the road, blew up. An estimated 10 kilos of explosives (TNT or C4 not confirmed) blasted Hobeika’s vehicle across the narrow highway, killing all four men instantly.

His 4th year memorial mass took place last week on the 24th of January 2007 in Badaro after a small prayer took place on the murder scene in Hazmieh.

…and an angel visited me last night asking me to change my mind and try to become an FPMer or a HAer. He pretended he was sent from Gods of Justice of Truth. So I asked him to convince me changing my whole thinking and throw away all the history I have it well saved in my memory.
The little angel replied he was not authorized to give explanations. Those were his orders.

So, I began thinking about this issue since it’s a divine wish.
If I try to believe in Michel Aoun, wasn’t he who destroyed “East Beirut” to clean this zone from illegal weapons and today he is the ally and friend of the 2nd worst terrorist organization in the world? (Taking into consideration Georges W. Bush ranking)
Not to forget all the lies he is committing every day.

Ok, should I be a HN admirer? If so, I have to be blind and throw my logic away. I should be used to accept and obey Divine Orders. Is this what I have pursued my whole life? Is this what I am ready to live? Of course NOT and it WON’T be the case.

And I kept thinking and thinking and I have never found an answer for this clue, not even a simple reason that pushes me accepts such ideas.

I have recalled the angel to declare to him my decision. After hearing my answer, he laughed and laughed and then he said, “Do you believe, my dear, that Justice or Truth would adopt such people? Wake up my friend, you Human Kind can believe or you can be blind but when coming to Truth, Justice will take care of these lies and everything will be revealed”

واستطاعت »السياسة« الحصول على لائحة أولية تتضمن اسماء 14 ضابطا بعدما كانت نشرت الاسبوع الماضي اسماء ثلاثة منهم.

I posted earlier billboards on the 11th of march movement that i spotted on the streets.

Apparently, they have a website as well with a small introductionary letter.

“Realizing the urgent need to bridge the ever increasing gap, a group of moderates developed and proposed the establishment of a new bloc to represent the majority calling it March 11th.”

It is definitly the perfect moment to start a new political movement, since 14th of February and 14th of March are nearby, let us just wait and see what 11th of march is up to, they should be given their chances but i still wanna know who are the people behind that, because as ‘nice’ as the objectives look, if we dont have new or neutral people behind it, i doubt it will lead anywhere.

The bitter taste of this feud forces us to assign a deadline on the coming 11th of March, either to reach a solution and return to the national negotiating table or we will be obliged to expand our peaceful movement to achieve the desired goal

“عذرا منك يا أفلاطون الرابية ويا أفلاطون الشرق والغرب”,
مهمّة بالنسبة للجنة قضاة التحقيق التي تطالب بها لتحقق مع الأكثرية, بما لم تعرفه حتى الآن. أقترح عليك أن تكلف لجنة تحقيق مؤلفة من قضاة مقرّبين منك كي يبدأوا عملهم أولا بالتحقيق معك وبإنجازاتك منذ توليت رئاسة الحكومة الإنتقالية وحتى الآن, وسأعدّد بعض مما هو مطلوب من هذه اللجنة الموقرة:
1. لماذا أعلنت حرب التحرير عام 1989 وماذا حققت من خلالها وعلى أي أساس انتهت؟
2. لماذا أعلنت حرب الإلغاء وكنت حينها رئيس وزراء وقائد جيش ووزير دفاع وكان بأمرتك أكثر من نصف الجيش اللبناني البطل هذا ما عدا الأنصار والأحزاب التي إنضمّت إليك ولم تدخل منطقة الأشرفية, على أي أساس بنيت معلوماتك في هذه الحرب العبثية المدمرة؟؟

4. لماذا شاركت في الإنتخابات الفرعية عام 2003 ورشحت حكمت ديب مع العلم إنك وحتى الآن معارض لقانون ال 2000 للإنتخابات وخضت معركتين إنتخابيتين في ظل ذلك القانون خاصة وإن المعركة الإنتخابية الأولى كانت في ظلّ جيش الإحتلال السّوري وأنت لا تزال في منزلك الباريسيّ معارضا لإتفاق الطائف وكلّ سلطة نتجت عنه وكان مناصروك, من أشرف الطلاب والمثقفين, يتعرّضون لشتّى أنواع الذّل والتعذيب بسبب مواقفهم المشرّفة ورغم كل ذلك شاركت فيها؟
5. ماذا فعلت بأموال جريدة الهيرالد التي كانت تصدر في أوستراليا وترسل لجميع أنحاء العالم بواسطة البريد وتجمع ملايين الدولارات, والناس تلتهمها كربطة خبز لسبب واحد لأنها كانت تنطق بالشتائم لصنم بعبدا آميل لحود وحلفاؤك: ميشال المرّ وسليمان فرنجيّة وحزب اللّه والحزب القومي السّوري والذين أصبحت اليوم قلبهم النابض؟
6. بعد عودتك من باريس طلبت من كل لبنانيّ مخلص أو زعيم وطني أساء يوما إلى آميل لحود أن يعتذر منه, يبدو أنك مريض بانفصام الشخصيّة, فلماذا لا تبادر أولا بالإعتذار من الشعب اللبناني العظيم فردا فردا على تصرّفاتك ومواقفك التي انقلبت بين ليلة وضحاها مئة وثمانين درجة؟
7. إنك تطالب بحكومة تمثل جميع الطوائف مع العلم إنّ الحكومة الحالية ما زالت حكومة شرعيّة وتمثل جميع الطوائف اللبنانية, والوزراء الشيعة هم الذين قدّموا إستقالاتهم وما زالت هذه الإستقالات مرفوضة من قبل رئيس الوزراء الشرعي, فعليك قبل ذلك أن تطالب لجنتك القضائية الموقرة بالتحقيق في شرعية ودستورية تلك الحكومة المشؤومة التي أعلنتها من ثلاثة وزراء من طائفة واحدة ولون وطعم واحد عام 1989.
8. نطالب لجنتك القضائية الموقرة أن تقدّر حجم الدّمار والخراب التي ألحقته حروبك العبثية مع ما نتج عنها من ديون وفوائد تتراكم على لبنان حتى يومنا هذا.
9. لقد صرّحت منذ مدّة بأنّ قرار الحرب والسّلم في لبنان هو بيد إسرائيل وحدها, لذلك نطلب من لجنتك القضائية الموقرة التحقيق والتوضيح ما إذا كانت الحروب التي أعلنتها في عهد حكومتك الإنتقالية كانت يقرار وتوقيت إسرائيلي أيضا.
10. الدّين العام والفساد هو مشروعك السياسي لهذا البلد, فهل لديك نموذج عن هذا البرنامج تطلعنا عليه؟ ألم تكنمشاركا في تراكم هذا الدّين بطريقة ما؟ وماذا عن الذي يحصل في الوقت الحاضر؟ ألا تعتقد انّ الأعمال الفوضوية والإعتصامات التي تشارك بها في وسط بيروت قد تزيد الدّين والفساد؟ ألا تسمع أصوات التجار والطلاب والشعب؟ فكل يوم إعتصام على الشكل الحضاري الذي تتدّعي به قد يكلف الشعب والدولة ملايين الدولارات, أهذا هو مشروعك للإصلاح والتغيير؟ ألا ترحم أحد أيها الرّجل العظيم؟
11. نطالب لجنتك القضائية الموقرة التحقيق عن مصادر تمويل إذاعتك البرتقالية ومن أين أتت؟
12. إنك تتباهى بشهادتك أمام الكونغرس الأميركي وبقانون محاسبة سوريا وتدّعي بالمساهمة بالقرار 1959, والآن تتهم الأكثرية الحاكمة بالتعامل مع الإدارة الأميريكية…أمرك عجيب وعلى عاتق لجنتك القضائية الموقرة الكثير من التحقيقات.
من بطولاتك ووعودك
1. الهروب إلى السفارة الفرنسية دون عائلتك.
2. خسارتك حربين مدمّرتين دون تفسيرات مبرّرة.
3. مشاركتك بالإنتخابات الفرعية عام 2003 تحت قانون ال 2000.
4. إستقبالك لآصف شوكت في باريس قبل عودتك إلى بيروت.
5. إستقبالك لآميل لحود وكريم بقرادوني في باريس مع علمك الأكيد بالشبهات التي كانت وما تزال تحوم حولهما في فضائح بنك المدينة.
6. تأليف لوائحك الإنتخابية قبل عودتك إلى لبنان بالتحالف مع جميع الذين كانوا يضطهدون شباب التيار الوطني الحرّ وغيرهم من الشرفاء.
7. خيانتك لرجل عظيم “غبريال المرّ” الذي ضحّى بكل ما يملك من أجل طروحاتك وشعاراتك والتي تبيّن فيما بعد بأنّها زائفة.
8. تتكلم عن الإقطاعيّة, فبالله عليك ما هي الإقطاعية التي تتكلم عنها وأنت رسّخت صهرك العزيز جبران باسيل الطفل المعجزة واربعة من عائلة عون للنيابة وغيّبت الأطباء والمحامين والمفكرين وغيرهم.
9. تنكّرت للمعتقلين في السّجون السّورية وصرّحت للملاء وعلى شاشات التلفزة بأنه ليس لديك معتقلين في السجون السّورية فلا عجب بعد أن تنكّرت للشهداء الأبطال من الجيش اللبناني الذين سقطوا دفاعا عنك على الجبهات حيث كان الهجوم على قصر بعبدا بقيادة السّفاح آميل لحود, الذي تدعمه اليوم للبقاء في قصر بعبدا, وبمؤازرة الإحتلال السّوري.
كل هذا يا زعيم البرتقال لأجل هدف واحد لا غير, انت تعرفه والكل بنت يعرفه اليوم, وهو عودتك مجددا إلى قصر بعبدا ووصولك إلى كرسي رئاسة الجمهورية.

During the black tuesday, a very dangerous incident occured in Jbeil when Fares Souaid’s car was hammered by gun shots which injured four of his bodyguards.

I remember hearing on the news at first that Souaid was shot, then it turned out he escaped from what it seemed like an assasination attempt. Afterwards, Souaid Left a press conference where he projected a video showing army men (maghawir) stepping down from a car and shooting at his car.

I didnt get a hold of that movie, i dont think they uploaded it anywhere.

Who are those people ? who gave them such orders ? Why didnt Michel Sleiman issue any PR concerning that issue ? How come the Opposition totally ignored this incident ?
