But on that occasion, i wanna wish our people to keep in mind that only one path will lead us to a free democratic sovereign Lebanon, one path will unite us, the path of our brave martyrs who died for us to live peacefully.

Rise above the rotten political class and prove that the Cedars Revolution was not a lie, that we are a people worthy of living freely.

Let us hope this year will put an end to the brutal assasinations and tensions and see our young Lebanese come back instead of leaving the country.

Hezbollah was accused directly 2 days ago by Jumblatt, and before him Hmadeh, of being involved in some of the bombings, if not all of them, that killed more than 12 anti-syrian politicians till now.

Marwan Hmadeh blasted Manar TV and Hezbollah the past thursday for spreading lies about him revealing to the Americans the location of Hassan Nasrallah during the last war and considered the accusations done as threatening to his life.

Hmadeh continued during a TV intervention that the Party ( Hezbollah) covered the attempted assasination in 2004, and that the car that exploded came from Dahieh.

On Friday, Jumblatt continues what Hmadeh started and accuses Hezbollah of direct involvement with the Syrian intelligence and talks about ‘cooperation’ in the assasinations.

What happened and why now ?

The timing of this statement by Jumblatt is very interesting, specially that Hezbollah was planning on aggravating the situation after the Eid’s pause. I dont know whether Jumblatt has any information on the issue, but a man like him who knows how to read politics talks like that, it means a lot on the political scene.

I havent seen reactions yet from anyone concerning that statement, Berri could have a strong say but i doubt it, Hezbollah is apparently going down and wants us to go down with him, wont happen !

Saddam has been executed 10 PM EST 7 PM PST.

I hate to bring this up, but i sense the current situation is gonna blow up one more time and end up by an assasination or a bombing.
What i fear this time is a bombing in Gemmayze or in Achrafieh, those places have been very crowded every night for the past 2 weeks and managed to overcome the current political situation and attract more people.

Any small incident will empty the streets and add up to the political tensions.

I wish security forces would take more precautions in those streets and i truly hope my feelings are wrong.

Last year, we lost Gebran before Christmas, and this year Pierre Gemayel, i hope that this Christmas will be the last one under such circumstances.

I was just informed our comrad Ibrahim Bitar has passed away, i dont know how .. he was a very good friend of mine, a true and commited LFer, his handicap never stopped him from working and helping other LF & Non-LF War Handicaps and his biggest achievement was the CHL organization that regrouped hundreds of war handicaps and helped them without anyone’s support.

I dont know what to say … he was always worried about others, on how to help other handicaps, how to prevent divisions within the LF …

May You rest in peace ya Bob ..

After arresting 9 SSNP members and 2 trucks of explosives, Ali Kanssouh, the head of SSNP claimed the weapons dated back to the 80s.

However ISF specialists explained yesterday that the weapons could not date back to the 80s and were modern and included “explosives, fuses and detonators “ designed for “terrorist” attacks.

The confiscated explosives were displayed to the press at police headquarters in Beirut and an explosives expert told reporters such weapons were designed for “terrorist attacks and assassinations.”

The weapons included electronic detonators, pull-trigger fuses and rigged alarm clocks.
The Police sapper, who cannot be identified in line with standing rules, explained that the pull-trigger fuses can be “tied up to doors, car doors or any doors, and pulling the doors open would detonate bombs.”

He said the weapons were locally made.

Large quantities of TNT paste also were displayed, and the sapper explained that they can be used in the making of “explosives with a variety of shapes.”

That, according to security sources, indicated that the vehicle was to be used in a major terrorist attack, either in an assassination attempt by a squad of gunmen or by rigging it with explosives and detonating it against a chosen target

A rumor was spread that SSNP were preparing to assasinate Geagea in a major operation in Koura but nothing confirmed yet.

Around 10 Christmas trees were planted in DT next to Kataeb headquarters in Saifi with martyrs’ names on each.

I will upload all of them later on, meanwhile this is the Sheikh Pierre tree.

Another Manar lie was spread last week about an Israeli plane landing in Beirut on the day Sheikh Pierre Gemayel was killed.
Even though those two incidents are totally irrelevant, the plane story was a total lie.

The Ministry of Interior confirmed that the Israeli military plane that Manar ( Hezbollah’s TV) claimed landed in Hariri airportcoming from Ben Gorian airport, in fact is a portuguese plane that came from Cyprus and landed following the legal and normal procedures.

ثانياً: لقد هبطت الطائرة المذكورة في مطار رفيق الحريري الدولي في الساعة 13.32 من بعد ظهر 21/11/2006 وعلى متنها وفد مؤلف من 11 شخصاً برئاسة وزير خارجية البرتغال السيد لوي فيليب ماركوس آمادو، وغادرت في الساعة 19.39 من التاريخ نفسه وعلى متنها 9 أشخاص، بعد أن بقي الصحافيان آرمادا كابريتا وبيدرو سناوي في لبنان ثم غادرا لاحقاً.
ثالثا: ان وصول الطائرة البرتغالية الى لبنان لم يكن سريا، مع الاشارة الى انها نالت التراخيص الرسمية اللازمة كافة. كذلك، فإن دخول اعضاء الوفد الى الأراضي اللبنانية انما تم بصورة شرعية ووفقاً للأصول المتبعة في حالات مماثلة”.

Those lies are not the first ones and cannot be tolerated anymore, and this should apply for ALL Tvs, but in particular Manar that is spreading very dangerous and sensitive informations and most importantly wrong.

What happened yesterday was not a simple operation or just some amount of explosives caught and definitly took a decision as bold as the one Elias el Murr took to go to Donniyyeh and catch the drug dealers there.

We are talking about a Pro-syrian very well organized party and a first class ally of the Syrian Intelligence agencies in Lebanon, not to forget the SSNP has its own network.

The army and ISF caught more than 400 kg of explosives, added to timed bombs and timers and small grenades and guns etc etc ..
Added to that, 9 SSNP members were caught and moreover SSNP head Ali Kanssouh did not bother to deny that but on the contrary defended the party’s right to hold weapons.

Another interesting factor, is that the black jeep that was caught belongs to an SSNP responsible named Tony Habib, ex-security responsible in the party. According to the ISF reports, he reported that his car was stolen earlier and claimed it was a red jeep, then coloured it and changed its number, as if he was intending to use it in a certain operation.

The SSNP have been involved in bombings and assasinations for a long time now, and i hope ISF will intensify the arrests and searches in the party’s branches and bring those endangering the country’s security to justice and even sue the party and ask for complete reports on its belongings.

Lebanese security forces arrested seven members of the Syrian Social Nationalist Party (SSNP) on Thursday after confiscating large quantities of explosives, detonators and timers during raids on the members’ homes in North Lebanon.

Now Qanso says its for defending the North of Lebanon from the Israelis ” .All of March 8 supporters are defending them and saying they are innocent” ”

Now, 9 supposdely LF members caught with 9 guns, its a WAR !!!!!!
