I was talking to a friend, a Aounist, asking him about the reasons why he was going down tomorrow and i concluded after an hour of that that he is simply obeying orders and has no clue about whats going on.

What were his arguments and my answers ?

Him: We are going down to topple the government because it is a failure and didnt achieve anything

Me: Fine, and the president is not a failure ? How come you wanna keep him and not keep Sanioura ?

Him: We dont have a replacement for him and 14th of March didnt agree on one.

Me: And you Aounists have a better replacement for Sanioura ?

Him: there will be, trust me ( how convincing !)

Me: So you dont have one ?

Him: khara lahoud and not sanyoura, its amazing lebanese ppl forget.

* * i couldnt stop laughing here, ma32oul 7ada yijewib 3a 7alo teb ? Its really amazing how people forget 2el, Ma32oul u forgot the crimes Sanioura committed against his people ? and ignore all the great achievements Pr.Lahoud did ?? hay2itto el khabeet bi wizarit el dife3 mazbout le3ebloun bi rassoun lal Aouniyye

Him(again): U satisfied with the government ?

Me: Not really, but i dont wanna topple it with an armed militia like Hezbollah.

Him: ends justify the means :)

Him:what is wrong w a houkoumet wi7de wataniye ?

Me: What is a 7oukoume wataniyye ?

Him: i dont want anyone from the syrian regime back,no one who at leats benefitted from it .

Again it is just amazing how some people think, Aounists are attacking The government for acting like the Syrians before, YET they go down to the streets with the most loyal ally of Syria.

Me( I started getting sickened to be honest): Just keep in mind that you took part for no convincing reason in destroying our country if this happens tomorrow, and i hope this hunts you till your last days.

My message to all, including Aounists:
Defend the Cedars Revolution and stop the ennemies of Lebanon from taking over our country.

Premier Fouad Saniora warned Thursday that Lebanon’s democracy is in danger but vowed that his government will fight attempts to bring back foreign tutelage on Lebanon.
“Lebanon’s independence is threatened and its democratic system is in danger,” Saniora said in a nationally televised address from the Grand Serail, on the eve of street protests by Hizbullah and its allies aimed at ousting his cabinet.

Do not be afraid and do not despair. We have a rightful cause,” Saniora told the Lebanese. “Threats will not deter us. Maneuvers and ultimatums will not terrorize us.”

For all who are giving second thoughts about going down tomorrow,
Just watch what the Hezbollah Ministry will bring you and enjoy the demo :)

Watch here :

I was just told my a friend that Syrian buses started crossing the borders to participate in tomorrow’s demonstration.

The biggest NON-Lebanese Demonstration is on its way, all Syrians, Iranians & Palestinians are invited to join in, suicide bombers most preferably or armed militia men.

After all, its a peaceful demonstration.

I’ll keep you updated.

Aoun le Clown

aoun

For a while, i thought i was listening to one of Aoun’s speeches in 1989 during his carnivals at Baabda palace.

I truly pity the FPMers for following such a liar and mad general, a general who is exploiting our people to get to the presidency, and the sad part is that he doesnt deny it, but on the contrary he calls the people “ghacheem” and calls himself the only savior.

His speech was a pure propaganda one, accusing the government of every single problem not just in Lebanon but in the world.
Wen keno haydol ? Chou Tarikhoun haydol ?

I have to ask you ya General:
Inta chou terikhak ? Wou wen kenet in the past 15 years ? wou Meen wassalak la 2a3la manassib bil jeish ? Wou meen hinne haydol shabebak li keno yinjalado ?

You were given your chance to rule the country, you destroyed everything, stole money and ran away and left your family and your men behind.

This resumes your history and your chances of getting to presidency.

Is this the democracy you learned in France ? demonstrating with an ILLEGAL militia to topple a LEGAL government? ( And it is legal as per the constitution)

PS: Dont forget to go pray bi Massjid el Iman Ali tomorrow to get his blessing before going to the streets eh ?

What are we doing ya Hakim ? The past few days took the LF back to the late 1980s.
Let us trace back what happened:

Sheikh Pierre is killed, Kataeb and LFers for some absurd reason start burning Aoun posters …
That was a ‘measured’ reaction and one could understand the situation.

The next three days, clashes between LFers and Fpmers in different Christian regions, Dekwaneh, Jdeideh, Jbeil etc … for freaking POSTERS !!!

On Monday, the big humiliation, Sassine turns into Kabul when LFers and Fpmers start fighting and almost killed each others cause of a poster !

A fight erupts in USJ as well, and yet no LF responsible condemns officially and publically and calls for an urgent meeting to settle those very dangerous fights.

LFers are caught training in Jroud Kisirwan, and after few days of fights and no official statement by Hakim, Assafir and Akhbar papers publish that the LF are getting armed one more time.

I think this is good enough to prove my point.

In the 1980s, even though the LF had build an empire for itself to protect the Christians, its image was badly damaged by thugs who were committing improper and unjustified acts against civilians, and those were not properly dealt with and caused us a huge loss of popularity in the Christian community.

Nowadays, we are repeating the same scenario, thugs are ruining our image and we are not dealing with them properly.

Those thugs should be sent to jail ya Hakim, must be taught a lesson, must be shown some responsability and forced to stay home during demonstrations. The LF since day1 should condemn those acts and ask the police to do the necessary, the student body should control its followers …

What is happening is unacceptable and will cost the LF very dearly.
I urge you ya Hakim to deal with it asap or else you will lose one more time the people’s trust and put your credibility at sake.

Regards,

And they tell me Syria is out of Lebanon and only wants our best. I believe every single word of this report and i say it is one small group out of tens of other groups still not found.
Let us close those borders once and for all !

Syrian President Bashar Assad was reported on Wednesday to have sent about 200 terrorists to Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon to assassinate 36 Lebanese figures.
The anti-Syrian daily Al-Mustaqbal said Assad’s “terrorist plot” was part of a propaganda prepared by the Syrian president and his Foreign Minister Walid Moallem.

It said Assad authorized the terrorist group, which was part of Fatah-Uprising, the Syrian-backed faction which broke away from Yasser Arafat’s mainstream Fatah group, to carry out the assassinations.

What happened at Sassine on Monday was a shameful disgraceful act. I cannot believe LFers and FPMers almost killed each others for a POSTER !

Are we serious here ? What if they put the poster back ? Where’s the big deal ?
Where was Spiro to call down those thugs ?? where is he anyway ? too scared to go out ? needs another bodyguard maybe ?

Dont worry no one will kill an incompetent like you … go down to the streets and calm those LFers who are polluting our image the same way few thugs did almost 20 years ago ..
Where are LF representatives ? Deputees ?

No one is realizing how damaging this incident was, and the LFers are to be blamed because they had no right in tearing the poster down, and no right in stopping the Aounists of putting the poster back, regardless what Aoun or Aounists did !!

If They are thugs, do we have to act like them ?
If they intimidate us, do we have to insult them back ?
If the army shows up, do we have to beat them up ?

I am just wondering what would have Bashir done, whose memorial is right in the middle of Sassine. He would have made those kids regret every insult they said throughout their whole life, not just that night.

What are they waiting for ?

The country is paralyzed for days now all waiting for Mr.Nasrallah and Mr.Aoun to go down and demonstrate. Army is everywhere and the people are so worried they are staying home.
DownTown is almost closed, the roads are empty, the shops are closing early.

What does Hezbollah want ?
Is he economically pressuring the government hoping they will surrender at last ?
Is he waiting for all shops to close and everyone to get poorer ?

Go down and demonstrate, no one is telling you not to, khallisna ba2a !

December is few days away and all the businesses wait for this month and the holidays to make a decent profit, specially after the destructive year Lebanon had cause of the Israeli war.

ABC Mall was almost empty tonight when i came back !!

What are they waiting for ? how is this demonstration gonna do Lebanon any good ? Maybe they are waiting for a new minister to get killed ? or planning to kill one of them ?

Khallisna min le7iytak ba2a wou rayyi7na !

Rumors have been spreading since yesterday, through Hezbollah’s filthy channel Al-Manar and newspapers today that LFers were caught by the authorities with guns and machine guns training in Jroud Kisirwan. This is totally untrue and false and whomever is promoting those lies wants to cause deeper divisions in the Christian ranks and apparently wants a civil war.

What really happened ?

This group of people that was training has been doing so for a while and has licenced weapons and is responsible of LBCI’s security, As Sheikh Pierre el Daher, Chairman of LBC, reported. They were simply doing their daily Monday training.

As for the maps that were found in the cars, they are NOT maps of General Aoun’s house at all, but a map within an invitation card to the house of Jack Sarraf who is organizing a party to honor Journalist May Chidiac.

I hope this ends right here and i urge Dr.Geagea and Sheikh Pierre el Daher to do a common press release to explain what happened and clarify the issue.

Finally, i urge the authorities to interrogate both Al-Akhbar and Addiyar newspapers and Manar TV for spreading lies about the LF getting armed and having maps of General Aoun’s house, and asking them the sources of their information knowing that the army intelligence arrested the group and no reports were released to the public concerning this issue.

What happened those past few days so Christians would get so divided and reach a point where no one is listening to the Patriarch anymore.

Why did Sheikh Pierre’s assasination cause that ? I understand the reactions in the first or second day, but why target Aoun ? Who is stupid enough to think Aoun would kill Pierre ?

Everyone is making mistakes, Geagea should have tried to calm down the situation by visiting Aoun or addressing the crowds like Pr.Amine did the first day, and Aoun should have gone up to Bekfaya despite all the tensions.

As for Pr.Amine, he didnt need to launch such an attack on Aoun, even if the guy is allied to other political parties, we should keep in mind our unity is at sake, and by unity i dont mean all of us working as one party, but unity as in accepting the other’s point of view and working on the long goals together.

What happened during the past few days was more than useless and i urge all the leaders to calm down and rethink of where they are getting us .

Click here to read Na7wa el Horiyya latest statement:

I think thats the best place to hold the 7iwar sessions, cause it seems our politicians only know keef yita3mouna hawa ( lama 2oul chi tene) …. so this place should be very inspiring for them.

Apparently, Manar TV decided to advertise our site for free.

I was told by a friend that they were talking about the site, and how the LF are back to Federalism and showed the link to our manifesto.

What can i say ?

Lets hope our leadership starts advertising as well for Federalism, after it is in the manifesto and it is our project, and not Taef.

Pr.Amine Gemayel had an interview yesterday with Al-Jazeera where he denied any Hezbollah involvement in his son’s murder. However, he critisized Aoun for his alliance with Baath party and SSNP.

He definitly didnt mention the SSNP and Baath unintentionally and those two parties have been responsible for several assasinations in the past, specifically of Kataeb and LF members, among them no one else but Sheikh Bashir Gemayel.

SSNP is very present in Matn regions and has a huge office in Bekfaya facing the Kataeb building and its members are historically known to be involved in murder attempts and assasinations and even putchs against the Lebanese government.

Here is a small list of their assasinations :

1-Assassination of Prime minister Riad El Solh, Father of the independence, in 1951

2-The murder of Colonel Adnan Maliki, the Syrian deputy chief of staff, in 1955, which led almost directly to Soviet influence over Syria.

3-Attempted assassination of General Fouad Chehab, president of Lebanon, in 1961.

4-Assassination of President Bashir El Gemayel, president of Lebanon, in 1982.

Of course there are no evidences or whatsoever in those accusations, but those two parties are definitly potential suspects.

This is taken from Al-Massira magazine.

How did the crime happen ?

Sheikh Pierre woke up this morning and headed to commemorate the 63rd independance day by putting flowers on his grand father’s statute in Bekfaya and then was going to present his condoleances to the family of Hanna Dagher who lived behind the Mar Antonios garden in Jdeideh next to the Hekmeh school.

He had to pass by the Church to get to the house and was driving a Kia (# B 201881). He was accompanied by Samir Chartouni and another bodyguard from the Zeinoun family.

Pierre rarely used this car except for diversion and he didnt have any convoys with him.

At 3:40, loud noises were heard followed by what looked like an accident between two cars.
Later on it appeared that when Pierre’s car was around 50 meters away from the Church, a black Honda CRV passed by and fired at front left window with a ‘Mac’ or ‘Scorpio’ machine gun.

Pierre was hit as well as Shartouni, but he wasnt dead yet and tried to escape by speeding but hit the Honda jeep whose driver apparently stopped the car in front of Gemayel’s car on purpose, but Pierre still tried to go backwards and hit another Fiat car.

During this time, while the car was boxed, two men stepped down from the Honda and one fired heavily from the left side of the car while the other was shooting from the right side.

The Zeinoun guy who was sitting on the rear seat got out from the car and claimed his gun jammed and wasnt working, so he ran away to a near shop but the men still fired at him and injured a Syrian worker.

The killers ran away afterwards with the same Honda jeep that was waiting for them next to a gas station.

It is to note that the internal roads that link Jdeideh to Nahr el Mot, the ones the Honda could have taken, lead to Rwaisset el Jdeedeh or can take you back to the highway on both sides.

The whole incident lasted a bit more than 15 seconds, and after few civilians went down and realized it was Pierre, a Landrover discovery was stopped and drove the minister to Mar Youssef hospital.

And the rest is known.

At last, and after accusing the 14th of march and Israel and mocking the demonstration and disrespecting Sheikh Pierre’s death, Sayyid Hassin had time to call and present his ’sincere’ condoleances to Pr.Amine Gemayel and his family and all the Lebanese.

This is to note that Sheikh Pierre was killed on Tuesday and Nasrallah couldnt find time to call before Saturday.

This picture was posted by this blog, really nice and old picture.
