We have been debating for days about who won the war, and if Hezbollah really lost or not, well i think the numbers and facts speak louder than political assumptions.
I have done some research on the damage done to Lebanon by the reckless adventure Hezbollah led and thought the numbers and statistics i managed to gather :

Lebanon’s Losses :

Estimate of Losses :4,800,000,000 $

Added to that, 1730 cars were damaged, 57 trucks, 62 public schools and investements from Arab and other countries paralyzed, summing up to more than 5 Billion dollars in loss.

Total Estimated Loss : 15,297,480,000.00 $

Now i ask you,
Who won this war ? Israel or Hezbollah ?
Syria was the biggest winner of this war then came Israel and Iran as second winners.

And now Hezbollah dares and demands the government for compensations for the war losses??
Who asked u to lead this adventure again ?? Arent they those who came out winners of this war ?
Who has been arming you to the teeth for the past 6 years ?

Can you please give us 1 convincing reason of why Israel would have attacked us later on if you had disarmed ?

15 Billion Dollars loss in ONE MONTH, added to our 40 Billion dollars debt accumulated in 15 years.

Now after listing all those numbers, i hope those defending Hezbollah to rethink and read this balance sheet and judge for themselves.

The after-war period has just started and there is a huge effort to be done to recompensate for the damages done and help the refugees and the villagers relive a normal life.

During war time, the best political statements were done by Dr.Geagea in my opinion, pointing out the regional plans of Hezbollah and its links with Syria and Iran and the big risky adventure he dragged us into. He stressed on several occasions that Hezbollah must disarm and the government should be the one taking all decisions etc etc …

Additionally, the Christian villages in the South was a very hot topic during war, and was a concern for the LFers who are very popular in those places ( Ain Ebel, Rmeich for ex).

After war was over, Hezbollah presented a plan to help the refugees, Sanioura presents a plan and FPM didnt hesistate and sent teams to check several villages in the South, among them the Christian ones. Few days ago, i hear Hezbollah and FPM are starting to pay the refugees for damages.

Regardless of the fact that both parties are simply exploiting the people’s misery to score some political points, since Hezbollah has been harassing the Christian villages for years now accusing them of collaborating with Israel, i was shocked to see the LF not doing anything !!!

What surprised me more is that a mass was organized for the LBC staff member who died during the raid on Fatqa. Plus i just read today Hakim was discussing with a certain responsible the effects of war on the touristic sector ..

Are those our priorities now ?? doing masses and meeting with hotel owners ?

Its unthinkable that no LF committee has been formed to help out the South Christian villages.
Its unthinkable that Samir Geagea who rushed to the mountain to defend the Christians in 1983 and endangered his life did not send any help or money to the villagers up there.

What are we waiting for ? Or have we become a party (correction tayyar)that speeches but does nothing on the ground ? What is George Adwan doing on Kalam el Nass ? he should be in the South along with other LF responsibles checking on our people.

Can anyone give me an explanation why we didnt do anything yet except sending a 4 people committe to check up on the villages one week LATER than FPM did and then forgot the issue.

This is not the LF i know and read about and defended for years.
